Hi Kevin i enjoyed that video i know the area well totally spontaneous filming and commentary which was great .Next time I'm in Tenerife in winter I'll look out for you .Your favorite is also mine Los cristianos to Costa Adeja. I've never being to Salou what i would really like from you Kevin is a direct comparison between Salou and Benidorm good points and bad points and come to a conclusion. Also further down Mojacer and Almeria there's a resort a few miles east of Almeria town that's supposed to be very nice and further along Nerja is picture postcard. One point i forgot about Tenerife that lady mentioned it in comparison to years ago the food in Tenerife five out of Ten .All the best Kevin. David

You also asked for future destination recommendations. How about Porto? We recently had a short break and loved it.
Kev if you are considering Turkey I would definitely recommend Kalkan..it’s beautiful,fantastic restaurants and the locals call it little Britain..not the cheapest but the classiest place in the area…and Jo was fantastic!!

Barcelona…. epic city. Also if you get chance go to Girona for an afternoon. Beautiful small city. An hour on the train from Barca.

Hi Kev in September would love to see you in Crete -Malia, Stalis, Hersonissos, Koutouloufari to name a few and all quite close together. Or Zante, lots of nice resorts there. If you go to Turkey again you could do Olu deniz and Hisaronu, and Dalyan which is a short transfer from Dalaman. Also Kalkan is wonderful but a bit of a longer transfer.
Annecy, France a thought Kevin? Fantastic lakeside town, great walks around the lake.

When you go to Barcelona, how about a trip to Tarragona. Great little city with beaches, Roman remains, great bars and restaurants with a more relaxed feel than Barcelona. Easily reachable from Barcelona by train.
La Merce, a big festival in Barcelona would be on around Sept 24th. Its great, Giants, Dragons and demons in the streets, fireworks, party time.

Stayed in Tigotan last year. I gave it 5 stars. To me food was great but we are all different
Try Funchal Madeira or Croatia, Split and Dubrovnik.
We are going to LA Pineda next to Salou in June our second time at the Golden Donniare Beach hotel love it

@scotsmaninTenerife highly recommend Bodrum in Turkey - cheap, amazing food, good walks and you can get a boat to Kos from there. Can send a bunch of recommendations if you go. Same for Barcelona - and would recommend Sitges over Salou for that trip

Great video Kevin, lovely lady aswell. A suggestion for a different destination for you, Croatia. The most scenic and lovely place ive visited. As much as I like Spain and Greece, I was blown away when I went there.

Stayed in the Vulcano in November , beautiful hotel but like Joan was disappointed by the food and also thought the staff where under pressure due to lack of numbers !
I’ve been looking at Bulgaria, which friends have recommended, but to Nessebar rather than the more popular Sunny Beach. They tell me it’s really ‘affordable’, as you would say!
( And talking of Man U, I’m staying in the Football Hotel in Old Trafford next month, should be interesting)

Sunny Beach in Bulgaria is popular July/August because it’s hot,busy and cheap.
u need to try prauge july will be hot and its a great city great food and beer and cheap as

Ive been to Salou over 10 times, its almost like a second home with yhe amount of times ive been. House of illusion and Chaplins for a good night out.

We stayed at the andreas hotel in los cris kevin its says its a 2star but it is everything u need. Great free WiFi. Free safe and air con all for about 50 a night we paid last weekend we will be bk give it a try 😀
