  • Welcome to episode 101!
This episode we have Dr Kirsten Claiden-Yardley here to chat about the Howard family, but in particular the 2nd Duke of Norfolk. Then, team member Steph asks me about the Seymour family in this installment of Ask the Expert. That's where I answer your social media supplied questions about my favorite family. Lastly, Steph steps in and also handles A Brief History this episode - you won't even notice it's not me.
A special thanks to Steph, by the way...this episode would not have been possible without her help getting it here. Started a new job two weeks ago and have little time to do podcast stuff while I'm still training. Steph has been a life saver, so please give her some love!

Absolutely brilliant episode!! I had previously bought the Thomas Howard book so I found it quite interesting to hear the author talk about it! Cheers! 🥰 Sir Thomas Howard 2nd Duke of Norfolk is my 14th great grandfather. It’s absolutely fascinating to learn more about him and my family lineage.

Really enjoyed this, thank you. It’s very interesting to see how their names became Anglicised. I’ve always wondered about t he name St John ( sinjin) - is that a real name or just ‘made up’. Thank you from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺. Love your program
