Dang ur underrated asf, ik the low views might not be encouraging to upload more but bro istg u should never stop uploading vids like these, time will come u will get in high numbers! Hope this comment motivated u further and this vid was all i needed🏃🏃🏃
I think you should make a few shorts on handstand and promoting this video right here (like full video in my channel, or linking the vid to the shorts) If the shorts gets viral this vid will also get the attention it deserves. A tip
You gave some awesome advice! I've been working on my HS now for 4 years, and as you said, I still have inconsistencies. Some days I can hold for 30 seconds, but the next kick up is without any balance, and I come right back down. I practice every day, and look to get a session of holds totaling 50 seconds or more, and I don't count any hold unless it's > 10 seconds. I've been off the wall for 2 years, although I still use it for endurance and tucks. My only advice to you is to work on getting a cleaner straighter line. You need to open those shoulders more so you have a straight stacked line. Your HS PU is fantastic! And you're right, HS are just a lot of fun, and once you get hooked you learn to do it anywhere! Really enjoyed your tutorial. I can always learn something, and I thought your steps were a great way to learn.
Thanks brother, ya you’re definitely right. Ngl I had to rewatch my own guide cause my handstand was so trash lol. You’re also 100% right about my handstand alignment, that’s something I need to work on. Any tips/cues u can give me for that, my shoulder mobility is already pretty good, I just need to learn how to apply it in the actual handstand.
Your handstand is not trash at all! You are not far from getting the straighter clean line. I would suggest doing chest to wall handstand, backing up as close as possible to the wall to get yourself used to a straight line. Point your toes and get the shoe lace side of your feet on the wall. From this, position you can practice shoulder shrugs, and really push up. Paul Twyman has some excellent videos on this. Try this link. th-cam.com/video/HNlaZdmKFFA/w-d-xo.html I think you'll progress pretty fast if you keep at it. LMK how it goes!
Appreciate the feedback brother. For future vids I will make the audio (and video) the same as the clip from the last 10 secs of this vid, I find that it is higher quality.
