Overall I’d say BT2, 3, and SZ are 9/10. Some do things better than others. BT2 still has the best movement tech out of any of the Tenkaichi games including the raging blast games.
9/10?! I feel like people are way too lenient with the game because it's dragonball. If you're not into playing online there's basically only a trash story mode left for you. That's only my opinion though don't wanna hate on the game for the sake of it, just kinda expected more after almost 20 years and 3 console generations.
I think they cheaped out on the music in this because if you buy the anime music packs, it automatically integrates them into the story mode where relevant.

You can download the Budokai Tenkaichi 4 ISO for free. I got it the other day after finding out it exists. It's amazing and very well done. Just need to use a PS2 emulator to play it
15:16 Aside from what you've said about Episode Battle, my personal issue is that it doesn't really cover OG Dragon Ball or GT. OG DB, I understand since Kid Goku is the only rep for Classic aside from Yamcha having his Classic outfit. GT should've been easy, especially with all of Baby's forms. Honestly, I wanna see more characters from those two series because this game feels more like a Z and Super game than an overall Dragon Ball game. The other Shadow Dragons, GT Vegeta, General Blue, General Rildo, Devilman, The Pilaf Gang, hell, just give Future Trunks GT Trunks' outfit.
Sparking zero is like when the first tenkaichi game came out for the ps2, it created a base and combat style for the series but needed improvements like in sparking zero. But then tenkaichi 2 came out it was incredible. Give it some time, I’m sure the entry after Sparking zero will be even better
Except that they sold this as Tenkaichi 4. And it isn't. It is a different game series starting. The name is milking nostalgia points by pretending to be part of a franchise that has nothing to do with it. Imagine if they had pretended that Budokai Tenkaichi 1 was Budokai 4. That would be a lie.
Theoretically, we should definitely get a sequel. But given the weird state of perma-updating Dragon Ball games (looking at you Kakarot and Xenoverse 2), who knows?
Great video dude, I can really tell how much this game means to you and I relate to that. The part at the end made me emotional. Amazing review that I didn't expect from a smaller youtuber and you covered pretty much all the issues I personally had with the game too. All in all, we're lucky this game even exists and I'm grateful to that. I look forward to watching more videos from you.
Damn, thanks a ton, man. Means a lot to me that the ending resonated with you, because it means we share a similar connection to the franchise. Looking forward to seeing you around here more!
YOU said Everything that i ever wanted from this Game. I am happy for this Game but am heartbroken that it did not captured the Music/Campaign/Combat Feel of Budokai Tenkaichi Series (╥﹏╥)
34:05 NGL I think that this customization of items is pretty neat and its because you can put those items in your opponents. In that way you can make a battle between a non-using item character vs a character maxed out to the extreme like in bars o HP or attacks. Even i would say that SZ did a better job than BT3 in that because the items of BT3 in the "Evolution-Z" are pretty limited. Or at least thats what i do in SZ and i did in the BT games, and I think is a great way to use those items for your battles (at least offline tho)
Best Tenkaichi game. Many people just have nostalgia of the previous Tenkaichi games, playing them as kids. Sparking Zero’s gameplay is great, better graphics, and more of our favorite characters.
I watched the whole video to the end and I agree with mostly all of the aspects mentioned (in addition to my perspective of the character models, which I think are horrible and do not capture the true feel of the characters' nature at all). I started playing BT4 a week before SPZ was launched and all the added gameplay mechanics felt amazing. It was tough getting the hang of it but after a while it felt like the best BT game I ever played and I honestly expected SPZ to surpass it in terms of gameplay alone, and boy was I wrong... Fast paced combo strings (like basically spamming the attack button) could be dodged or countered easily mid-combo, which breaks all logic. Clashes are unintuitive and when you get into one you already spam the attack button before you even get the grasp of what's going on just to realize you gave yourself a serious disadvantage. Buildings stand in the way of your supers and your dashes and you have to go across them just to get to your opponent, and even when using a vanishing dash you might stumble into a rock. At some point during Goku's story, I gave up and went back to play good old Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi series games and in my opinion, the "fun factor", as described in the video is tremendously higher in the old titles.
Not just a great review but great video in general. Very well paced and written I’m on my 3rd rewatch in a row lmao. Pretty much all your criticisms have been on my mind after the hype from the launch weekend wore off. Kinda disappointing that I’ve seen just about everything meaningful the game has to offer in less than 50hrs of play time. I’m surprised no one in the comments mentioned the sever problems yet. It’s actually terrible and barely works. It only shows full lobby’s most the time, empty sever lists sometimes, constant disconnects, etc. The only way I get into online casual matches or tourneys is through the looking for people feature on xbox (and I’ve heard all platforms have this problem). The fact that I have to purposefully avoid the in game menus to find matches is insane to me. Even then, I’m just fighting the over saturated amount of ppl abusing top tier characters. So when I’m tired of that, what exactly am I left with? I’ve had a lot of fun w the game but its flaws can’t be ignored and this video does a great job highlighting that.
This is my first introduction into this series and i love it, the graphics are amazing, there are loads of characters and even playing as someone like the saibamen is fun, the music is okay, i feel like if the devs got permission to use some of the music from the dbz movies like the coolers revenge soundtrack for example would make it perfect imo. However there is one problem i have with this game and it ruins it to an aspect and thats the menus, they feel clunky and when you switch from each menu the game freezes sometimes or stutters but more importantly there is a glitch which might have to do with my pc hardware but im not sure and its where when i choose to go to the shop or into training mode for example, sometimes it will start the animation where it removes the hud elements but doesnt do anything after, im practically softlocked and cant do anything to fix it besides alt+f4 which is tedious but hopefully that will be fix in a future patch
This game is a complete love letter to the series, with unique transformations mid battle, and mostly everyone you’d want to play as in the entire dragon ball series. What more are you guys asking for lmao. This is the best anime game made in YEARS
i like how the equippable abilities allow you to kinda roleplay with your character like simulatong the saiyan zenkai boost by equipping abilities that raise attack power as your health lowers💯
My biggest issue with this is how often in the chaos of countering attacks I suddenly empty out my skill gauge and I don't even know what happened. I say this as someone who has 100% achievements in the game.
my personal gripe is the ui. I dont like the main menu because theres a slight delay so that each screen can do an animation, the character select is massive clutter compared to the bt games with scrollable menus and transformations being an option after selecting your character, or the battle map, because of the reasons youve given
Finally someone I hear talking about the movements in this game, I was complaining about it before launch and even if after touching the game myself I was like "okay, it's not a big of a deal" I still happen to think while playing that keeping old dash could've make the battles so much more enjoyable and so for the input lag, triggering a blast after sending the opponent flying with a smash attack doesn't feel as right as in BT3 and charged attacks are so wrong... Extending combos by releasing charged attacks early is totally impossible here. I hope they will fix this.
Ultimate tenkaichi didn’t try to fill anything it is not part of the tenkaichi serios it only got its name because people voted for it on a poll. Raging blast is one thing cause of the gameplay so yeah you can technically call those watered down tenkaichi games but saying ultimate tenkaichi a tenkaichi game cause it has tenkaichi in the name is like saying tenkaichi is a budokai game cause it has budokai in the name it’s not the same thing bro.
Instead of feeling like a BT4 it feels more like a reboot of the series which i know it is but it feels like we are running into similar issues of the past gameplay wise with ki spam and instant Sparking while in BT3 they've already balanced it by giving you Ki sickness. I love that this game exists i just hope that they find a solution sooner than later and i hope everything i mentioned is fixed later because this game should be what we've waited 17 years for
This game feels super unfinished. There's barely any costumes, not many stages, a lot of characters don't even have super in their storylines despite this games entire identity being based around super, and there's a lot missing... Also I think they made sparking mode wayyy too busted. It turns the tide of the battle way too much and kinda sucks the fun out of games for me
In the past they put a lot of work on in-game experience so you can exploit for hours and hours, i miss item fusion, before the custom battles we have the Karin's tower theme battles and mission 100, and i agree everything you said it's true that's a lot of nostalgic that dont let me enjoy the game at its fullest but also feels like the game it's half finished, i like the game but still a lot of room for updates
Nobody could possibly create a valid argument as to why this game is worth 70 dollars. The so called "best tenkaichi game ever" shouldnt need people making excuses everytime an obvious flaw gets pointed out. So much things were cut from sparking zero like how things were cut from raging blast. I honestly believe the revenue sz has solely comes from boredom and nostalgia.
I'm surprised with how much I agree with this review here. The game is awesome, but it is lacking in many areas. Despite that though, I do think this game lives up to BT3. However, when I compare this to Raging Blast 2, Sparking Zero begins to falter. I'm one of the people who believe RB2 is better than BT3. A part of that is nostalgia, but I also feel like RB2 streamlines the Sparking games and offers the best customization out of all of them. Not only does Sparking Zero lack that, but it also lacks the plethora of game modes. Strangely, there are only two playable costumes in the game that changes the character's supers (Goku super's power pole, Andoird 18 Distructo disc). I feel like you massively undersold the music for this game though. A lot of tracks are whatever, but actually sitting down and listening to most of the music on their own, I've found some appreciation for pretty great tracks. Out of the entire soundtrack, here's stellar ones: Survivor, Let the battle begin, Flurry of power, Ultimate impact, counterattack, The adventure begins, My hero, The greatest champion, The final battle, The last resort, fighting spirit, ego above all, Hidden potential, Beyond good and evil, Monk in training, Ultimate cells, Within the light, Evil united, Evolution, Slapstick heroes, Innocent assault, swirling chaos, malicious intent, ultra instinct, let's rock, ultimate fusion, awakened child, hidden power unleashed, Hope for the future. There's more but I don't want this comment to be too long. You've only touched on this a little, but I feel like the CPU is...too easy? Even on the highest difficulty I've had no trouble at all. The gameplay in general is great though. I think it's a good thing that they emphasize the ki resource management and counter types for strategy. I don't mind the cutscenes for supers and ultimates. Maybe I'm misremembering but that felt a similar length in BT3 and RB2. My main issue with them is that some ultimate attacks have a lack of impact reaction of the opponent. Like, you don't see the opponent pushing back Goku end's spirit bomb, which would cause him to go super saiyan. But in any case, this was a good review. I really wish we didn't have to rely on updates and dlc to give us content that should be in the base game, but I'm actually very pleased with what's already here.
I never got too into the Raging Blast series, but maybe I'll give it a look over if you think so highly of it. As for the music... Thing is, a friend and I ended up listening to the OST on TH-cam and stumbled onto some bangers. Problem is I never heard any of them in the game. It's weird. Agreed as far as the CPU. And thanks! I dislike it as well, but if they do end up fixing things for FREE in future updates, I'll allow it.
It’s cool on a surface level but I think raging blast 2 still Holds as the best from a mechanics and combat aspect. The fighting and controls were so much more precise even for its time . Too bad. Feels like this game spent a lot of its budget on the roster and the graphics butttttt when it comes to the actual gameplay and the rock apart scissors nature of the game and presentation of it be story based stuff is really lacking especially after dbz kakarot in practice once you get more seriously into the game and trying to get better a lot of it’s obvious issues start to quickly reveal themselves. Animation of transformations are kinda lacking , the character voice work is like non existent and super repetitive barely have any unique interactions or voice lines if any at all. Some characters legit just say the same 2 lines for intro and outros . It’s right on the edge of really pushing itself or standing out as a tenkaichi game in my opinion. I think this is a good first outing so to speak. Like them setting the foundation for something even better with the next title or through updates but ii don’t think this one is gonna get the fixes or changes it needs so I’m looking forward to the next one
I agree I feel like they cut so many corners the story interface I agree with and yeah, I was irradiated Witt vegetas story it’s ends so early it was like what? That’s it? Definitely wish more people would speak out about the flaws 100%.
Does anyone know how to consistently vanish attack multiple times after blowing the enemy away? I keep mashing triangle but it doesn’t consistently work
As someone who was playing tenchaichi 3 often on the ps2 with freinds it’s pretty lack luster losing good characters like super 17 for barley any new fighters.
Sparking Zero devs only need to add more stages and missing original DB & GT. After this the game is 90% perfect. To make it 100% perfect, would them to add Latin American dub voice option.
for me it feels like unfinished game, the designs are not as satisfying af bdt3 especially the glowing ssjs or the intense fight, the spiked hair with electric aura, the flow, it was perfect, i think that dbt or any old games lacked the advanced graphics and many things so they focused on the gameplays, stories, designs, and the intensity, sparking zero is full of cut-scenes for God's sake, looks so fragile, fluffy and squishy
I disagree I mean with the combat is still feels way better to me than all the games and I played everything leading up to this game I can agree with some customization aspects some story aspects but all I really care about is core gameplay and it's a lot faster it's a lot smoother in the side-stepping the dodging mechanics are a lot better and it feels good to play to the point where it feels like I'm playing the anime yes it definitely can be even better but I think we hold these games a little high on the totem pole when I personally do not believe bt3 rb2 are as good as people think all of those games have major problems I believe core gameplay wise this game fixes those problems but because of the state of gaming be more of a online multiplayer experience it just isn't balanced and in some ways that does hurt the game personally I think the custom battles are amazing I do not believe anybody has really dive deep into the custom battles at least when it comes to how hard you can make these battles and how cinematic you can make them I think it definitely is a worthy successor off of game play alone I don't really care about costumes or customization options it's not like the other games had something completely crazy they had limited options for each game in raging Blast 2 yeah you can change the aura but it was not that many auras both games CPU was not that hard compared to the custom battle CPU. the destruction on sparking zero's second to none. I think people's expectations like you said the was just too high I don't think people play those games before the game came out to really understand that these games in my opinion always had problems they always didn't really complete the package I wasn't going to expect sparking zero to do with the other games didn't it wouldn't make sense but having the combat be as smooth as it is having the brutality of the show and the fast pace it's a lot faster all of the games in the series if I had to give all games and rating. Raging Blast 1 5/10 combat with stiff camera got in your face too much story was cool but a little bit lacking goes to the story but doesn't have the most important parts like ultimate Gohan Raging Blast 2 more of an arcade game depends on your taste way better Kombat way more characters than raging Blast 1 Better movement in bt3 amazing music not that many modes though cpu can become boring the fight it's just not that hard 8/10 Bt3 great story mode not too sluggish like bt2 at the right pace if you're going to go through the whole story combat is amazing most characters do feel the same with all of its characters you're really only going to play a select few most characters do have a pretty cool moves though pretty quick with its game speed not as quick as sparking zero but before sparking zero was the fastest I've always felt it was a little stiff on the movement sidestepping stuff like that just doesn't feel as useful as it does in raging Blast 2 and sparking zero. But definitely a lot more balanced. 8.5/10 Sparking zero. Looks absolutely stunning better than every game in the series when it comes to graphics pretty important if you're trying to capture the anime Destruction looks amazing The speed of the game is lightning fast Story mode is subjective I don't really care about the story mode I think it was just fine and actually better than at least bt2 I just felt like bt2 it's just too sluggish I'm not really trying to sit through the whole story show me some story beats let me just get to the fight Loving the custom battle mode allowing me to change the difficulty to impossible levels is pretty much all I've asked for pretty much all I've been doing in any of these games because I didn't really ask many people to play with as I grew up so I played a lot of these games offline being able to make the CPU as hard as possible is really fun 9/10 I think these games just really depend on how you enjoy them but regardless of anything I do not think people really understand that these games were just not that good they had a lot of good in them but they were also a lot of flaws with each of these games none of them were perfect each game always left me with something to desire but this is the first time that this game basically gave me everything that I wanted being able to create my own battles having fast combat having the majority of characters that I want having permanent destruction Beam struggles etc and as much as people are complaining about the CPU they have not tried custom battles you can make the CPU insane and because of that it's probably my favorite in the series I rest my case 🙏
As good as Story Mode is, I would much rather have something similar to Raging Blast 2's Galaxy Mode. I'm sure it would be a nightmare to include given how many characters there are in Sparking Zero, but I think RB2 has better singleplayer content because it incentivizes you to play through all of a characters missions and unlock their special moves and extra characters.
Laptop. It couldn't handle playing and screen-recording simultaneously without getting a little cooked. Don't have a good gaming PC or current gen console, and I'm not really interested in getting one given that I rarely ever play any video games. Plus I live in a third world country currently going through war, so there is that.
If you’re having trouble doing moves that you want because the game is having trouble registering them you might have assisted controls on assisted controls are horrible and they end up doing things you don’t want them to do turn them off. The game plays a lot better without them.

I've really loved it personally My biggest complaints are that it's terrible at teaching you the general mechanics in the main game and you need to go into training to get it done Not a fan of the transformation wheel and how long the animation for transformations take. They last 10 seconds too long lol The menu is pretty trash and the difficulty in story mode could've been eased up a bit but that's it🤷
Sparking is the best tenkaichi game in regards to teaching you mechanics, the other three had no training mode and expected you to read and then understand the mechanics.
@@jagtech490 Bro, what the hell? 😭 nah you are straight up lying to the people with this comment There IS a training mode, actually showing you what the buttons do and all, with pictures and everything. S0 took it's training mode from these games, bruh
My only argument against the counter it’s a personal problem for you not to want to learn how to play the game because most if not all counters are used of R1 for standard and triangle+circle for classic. So just feels like a vapid argument
I have such mixed feeling, it feels like an upgrade and a downgrade....like part of me feels like modded BTK3 is better but then the pretty new explosion effects distract me again lol
Kakarot was a well better game, but now the combat and graphics feel lacking in compared to Sparking Zero. I want to see a game that is basically Kakarot and Sparking Zero combined, spanning the entire Dragon Ball series, from OG DB right through Z, Daima, GT and Super
You mean if the budokai tenkaichi line is a great sparking game the fact is that sparking originated in Japan And was known as sparking sparking neo and sparking meteor and this is fusing both names into being a reboot of the old series and yes it's way better ngl dragon ball fusions was better than bt3
Bt3 for me still is better bt3 has the movie battles has gt story mode doesn’t have dlc has every character I’m sure they are gonna work on adding characters but they want me to spend $109 for every character and no extra game modes nothing new it’s all reused only new is character it’s a amazing game I have 100 hours on sparking zero and I’m a volunteer at the fire department and work 50 hours a week still make time for this game just it could be better

Agree on all points, I do wish we would see Super Brolys story in episode battles as well
Sparking zero is like when the first tenkaichi game came out for the ps2, it created a base and combat style for the series but needed improvements like in sparking zero.
I think it's gonna be like dat on dlc to make it to the level we want
@@maskingtablesyour just bitching and complaining just to bc you can
@@maskingtables Why do you think it has nothing to do with the previous games?
It has the tenkaichi combat bro, it’s always been about the combat.
I have never met a more accurate review. I think almost every point made I agreed with.
Damn good video breakdown, you’re on the only content creators that truly broke down the issues. Thank you!!!!! 🔥
Thanks a ton, man! Glad I could present a comprehensive overview.
This game needs a vanish clash and super counter needs to cost way more ki as well tbh
I would love a bt3 remaster HD with rollback net code
Do you think will get a sequel or just keep being updated?
Budokai Tenkaichi 3 gameplay feel to me more fast and more dragon ball
BT3 is slower
@crismykyle-hines3362 Alot more skill reliant tho. Super counter was a 1 frame input. Z counters were alot harder to hit.
YOU said Everything that i ever wanted from this Game. I am happy for this Game but am heartbroken that it did not captured the Music/Campaign/Combat Feel of Budokai Tenkaichi Series (╥﹏╥)
Very fair review, nice vid :)
Thanks a ton!
Thanks a ton, man! Can't believe you watched this 3 times. You deserve an award or something, I could never
12:14 "When you're beating off someone and can cleary hear all the grunts and groans"
I love beating off the Z fighters and getting them to explode with ki.
Ayooooo!!!!! ⏸️
Great review
Thank you!
14:08 it has a opening brother the leak uses the other music i thought
My biggest issue with this is how often in the chaos of countering attacks I suddenly empty out my skill gauge and I don't even know what happened. I say this as someone who has 100% achievements in the game.
Return of the king. Nice video!
Eyyyy thanks, man. Appreciate it!
Great video. I almost completely agree with your review
Thanks!
my personal gripe is the ui.
The main OST i use is the one that played during the Supreme Kai world when you fought Kid Buu in Story Mode
you cannot restry when you miss the timer for alternative goals in story mode, which makes the mode a lot less fun bc it takes ages to play again
you almost nailed all my thinkings, like 90%
I think it's great as a Budokai veteran
Great review i mostly agree with it
Ultimate tenkaichi didn’t try to fill anything it is not part of the tenkaichi serios it only got its name because people voted for it on a poll.
I just wish they added more game modes like mission 100 or survival
We will get ultimate sparking zero as a revision verison that expands later I know they're going to do it!
Instead of feeling like a BT4 it feels more like a reboot of the series which i know it is but it feels like we are running into similar issues of the past gameplay wise with ki spam and instant Sparking while in BT3 they've already balanced it by giving you Ki sickness. I love that this game exists i just hope that they find a solution sooner than later and i hope everything i mentioned is fixed later because this game should be what we've waited 17 years for
This game does some things better and some things worse. is what it is!
Fingers crossed it gets some balance changes and some music dlc or something
Jirens what if is the manga version of the story, that's why it's so similar
the super opening for the intro is hard stop the cap
That’s me!!!!! 40:10
you should put this video link in the sparking zero survey
At 0:14 No raging Blast 1? I played both Raging Blast games
I meant the series overall, which is both games.
Same Raging blast 2 was the shit
What they shuldve dod with Dragon balls os have the what if characters like gohan black vegeta scouter ssj or any missing characters as dlc
Tldr for me; with proper tweaking and future support, it has the potential to become the besr BT game
Honestly I don’t think the sounds are better in SZ than in previous games.
@@failureoncommand The reason for the music is that you have to unlock it in the shop. There's also some tracks that are exclusive to spraking mode.
It’s cool on a surface level but I think raging blast 2 still
Holds as the best from a mechanics and combat aspect.
Wish characters got alternate outfits like 2nd movie grey broly with chest scar or battle damaged versions of each character
Me too
Does anyone know how to consistently vanish attack multiple times after blowing the enemy away? I keep mashing triangle but it doesn’t consistently work
am i the only one who doesn’t remember gohan being in the cover on bt3??
RB2 was 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Its a fun game
A very weak CPU AI
I feel this exact way I thought maybe I’m just getting old but it felt very stiff and slow compared to the old one
As someone who was playing tenchaichi 3 often on the ps2 with freinds it’s pretty lack luster losing good characters like super 17 for barley any new fighters.
sparking uno gone go crazy in 2026
Yea when i play it with new pc
5:20 honestly i think this is because the maps are 10x bigger
Reminder. Chouzu is a 50 year old man
Sparking Zero devs only need to add more stages and missing original DB & GT. After this the game is 90% perfect. To make it 100% perfect, would them to add Latin American dub voice option.
Does anyone know why SZ is so much slower compared to BT3. Both are at 60 Fps but BT3 feels like 2x faster to SZ
Wrong. Tenkaichi and most ps2 games run at 30 fps. And the combat and movement is much slower placed. Sit down kid
@@FlyinggMushroomI've been trying to tell these people bro the game is so much faster lol especially on PC
Thankyou someone finally mentioned the dragon . It’s too damn slow it doesn’t give off that super sonic blast off compared to bt3….
I miss crisis track
for me it feels like unfinished game, the designs are not as satisfying af bdt3 especially the glowing ssjs or the intense fight, the spiked hair with electric aura, the flow, it was perfect, i think that dbt or any old games lacked the advanced graphics and many things so they focused on the gameplays, stories, designs, and the intensity, sparking zero is full of cut-scenes for God's sake, looks so fragile, fluffy and squishy
Raging Blast 1 5/10 combat with stiff camera got in your face too much story was cool but a little bit lacking goes to the story but doesn't have the most important parts like ultimate Gohan
Raging Blast 2 more of an arcade game depends on your taste way better Kombat way more characters than raging Blast 1
Better movement in bt3 amazing music not that many modes though cpu can become boring the fight it's just not that hard 8/10
Bt3 great story mode not too sluggish like bt2 at the right pace if you're going to go through the whole story combat is amazing most characters do feel the same with all of its characters you're really only going to play a select few most characters do have a pretty cool moves though pretty quick with its game speed not as quick as sparking zero but before sparking zero was the fastest I've always felt it was a little stiff on the movement sidestepping stuff like that just doesn't feel as useful as it does in raging Blast 2 and sparking zero. But definitely a lot more balanced. 8.5/10
Sparking zero. Looks absolutely stunning better than every game in the series when it comes to graphics pretty important if you're trying to capture the anime
Destruction looks amazing
The speed of the game is lightning fast
Story mode is subjective I don't really care about the story mode I think it was just fine and actually better than at least bt2 I just felt like bt2 it's just too sluggish I'm not really trying to sit through the whole story show me some story beats let me just get to the fight
Loving the custom battle mode allowing me to change the difficulty to impossible levels is pretty much all I've asked for pretty much all I've been doing in any of these games because I didn't really ask many people to play with as I grew up so I played a lot of these games offline being able to make the CPU as hard as possible is really fun 9/10
I think these games just really depend on how you enjoy them but regardless of anything I do not think people really understand that these games were just not that good they had a lot of good in them but they were also a lot of flaws with each of these games none of them were perfect each game always left me with something to desire but this is the first time that this game basically gave me everything that I wanted being able to create my own battles having fast combat having the majority of characters that I want having permanent destruction Beam struggles etc and as much as people are complaining about the CPU they have not tried custom battles you can make the CPU insane and because of that it's probably my favorite in the series
I rest my case 🙏
Yes.
The motion cap cutscenes are so cringe and take me out of it at all times. Same for the music and sound effects.
Nah Galaxy mode was trash we should get more what ifs in story mode
@beforethestorm7544 bait
What are you playing this on? Your gameplay looks slow and choppy.
Laptop. It couldn't handle playing and screen-recording simultaneously without getting a little cooked. Don't have a good gaming PC or current gen console, and I'm not really interested in getting one given that I rarely ever play any video games.
Plus I live in a third world country currently going through war, so there is that.
@@failureoncommand makes sense I was only curious is all.
If you’re having trouble doing moves that you want because the game is having trouble registering them you might have assisted controls on assisted controls are horrible and they end up doing things you don’t want them to do turn them off. The game plays a lot better without them.
Oh yeah, Im aware. I turned them off halfway into the game, but the input lag was still there (albeit less prevalent)
Ultimate Tenkaichi had a good story mode not gonna lie
More characters and more stages other then that solid 8/10
More characters, there is dlc for twenty more, besides there is already 180 already biggest roster ever in a Dragon ball game.
You must way over picky no game including this one is perfect there were also issues the previous ones as well overall this is the best one.

Yes
I've really loved it personally
My biggest complaints are that it's terrible at teaching you the general mechanics in the main game and you need to go into training to get it done
Not a fan of the transformation wheel and how long the animation for transformations take. They last 10 seconds too long lol
The menu is pretty trash and the difficulty in story mode could've been eased up a bit but that's it🤷
It has to load lol on Tenkaichi 2 and 3 it took even longer to transform 😂
Sparking is the best tenkaichi game in regards to teaching you mechanics, the other three had no training mode and expected you to read and then understand the mechanics.
@@jagtech490 Being the best doesn't mean its good, it just means the old games were worse lol
@@jagtech490 Bro, what the hell? 😭 nah you are straight up lying to the people with this comment
There IS a training mode, actually showing you what the buttons do and all, with pictures and everything. S0 took it's training mode from these games, bruh
@@NinjaXFileswow pictures no I mean actually taking you through the mechanics like budokai 2 and 3 did.
Short answer : yes
Sigh the game really dissapointed in its main game options
You sound like an ethnic version of Dom2K 😂 nice video though!
I... Don't know how to feel about that. Thanks?
You mean if the budokai tenkaichi line is a great sparking game the fact is that sparking originated in Japan
And was known as sparking sparking neo and sparking meteor and this is fusing both names into being a reboot of the old series and yes it's way better ngl dragon ball fusions was better than bt3
yea
Bt3 for me still is better bt3 has the movie battles has gt story mode doesn’t have dlc has every character I’m sure they are gonna work on adding characters but they want me to spend $109 for every character and no extra game modes nothing new it’s all reused only new is character it’s a amazing game I have 100 hours on sparking zero and I’m a volunteer at the fire department and work 50 hours a week still make time for this game just it could be better
