I have the same problem and when I’m driving I can’t stare at my phone this definitely needs to be fixed. And when my phone locks I have to login and then the batch is gone it’s really irritating

Last year there was an audible sound (notification) when off the app .... But since getting back on this year , there is no sound. I have to have it pulled up or I miss them . The banner notification is still there , but no noise
It only make a slight noise when you are in another app…it so not cool…it’s like they want you to really fight for batches Trust me it’s beneficial when you go into another app and then it will pop up at the top of the phone
I’ve been an Insta cart shopper for three years now I’ve never had a problem with that. She’s not making a sound when they come in when I was Using an android now that I’m on an iPhone I don’t get any notification sound when a new batch pops up. Can anybody tell me how to change that I get messed message sounds when I’m on chat or when Customer messages me or I change in the order just not win the batch comes in. There’s no sound at all on the iPhone. I don’t understand how to change it there’s no options like there is an android. Oh my goodness I miss android.
But if you don’t stay on the app you’ll have to do to many button pushes to accept the batch, and another driver will beat you to the batch. So I turn off the screen saver and watch. But if you look away you can miss a batch. It will silently slip away.

Sometimes I’m texting and orders pop up no notification all other apps have a little noise or BIG noise this is the only app no sound 👂

OK, so what’s the answer? What’s the solution because the same thing happens to me it’s so frustrating I have tried everything.

Good batch ! Are you able to do a video on which batches to accept and ones you wouldn’t accept ?
Instacart deactivated my account, and wouldn't tell me exactly why. And they wont respond to any of my emails. Just like that...

It notifies you on android but not iPhone, because I have both phone.

Trust me it’s beneficial when you go into another app and then it will pop up at the top of the phone
This is only only a problem for iPhone users it works perfectly fine on android’s

I got Deactivated from instacart. I'm doing Uber eats now and it doesn't make as much as instacart.
It's because you're already in the app... I believe. It only makes a noise when I'm not in the app. I get a notification

Also when you are chatting with an agent you’ll miss batches because of no notification alerts. Also when I’m on TH-cam.

That doesn’t make any sense you have to be in the app if you’re trying to get batches
