I use Android auto while driving and I do not get sound notifications through my car either. If I have my phone unplugged where it is just Bluetoothed to my car, I hear the sounds just fine because they come through the phone. They do not come through the car's navigation. I get notifications for several other gig driving apps like doordash, grubhub, Uber eats and others through my car's sound system when I'm using Android auto, but not for instacart. No one seems to know how to fix this problem because everyone's answer is always "turn your sound up.". THAT is not the problem.

Sometimes I’m texting and orders pop up no notification all other apps have a little noise or BIG noise this is the only app no sound 👂

It only make a slight noise when you are in another app…it so not cool…it’s like they want you to really fight for batches Trust me it’s beneficial when you go into another app and then it will pop up at the top of the phone

I’ve been an Insta cart shopper for three years now I’ve never had a problem with that. She’s not making a sound when they come in when I was Using an android now that I’m on an iPhone I don’t get any notification sound when a new batch pops up. Can anybody tell me how to change that I get messed message sounds when I’m on chat or when Customer messages me or I change in the order just not win the batch comes in. There’s no sound at all on the iPhone. I don’t understand how to change it there’s no options like there is an android. Oh my goodness I miss android.

This is only only a problem for iPhone users it works perfectly fine on android’s

OK, so what’s the answer? What’s the solution because the same thing happens to me it’s so frustrating I have tried everything.

It notifies you on android but not iPhone, because I have both phone.

same crap here in Canada.. no sound when a batch comes in whether I'm in the app or not.. no screen saver killer either when app is active... whack

Good batch ! Are you able to do a video on which batches to accept and ones you wouldn’t accept ?

I have the same problem and when I’m driving I can’t stare at my phone this definitely needs to be fixed. And when my phone locks I have to login and then the batch is gone it’s really irritating

I'm having the same problem and I've went thru all my phone settings , uninstalled and installed the notifications are saying 1 notification per day in the app settings and I can't change it any where

It's because you're already in the app... I believe. It only makes a noise when I'm not in the app. I get a notification
