Tip for this fight: Just keep up the pressure when he is SHEILDED, the animation after he parries you doesn't deal any damage so dont be scared.
Im not quite sure but i think he had several animations. One was the kick that did no dmg but he sometimes also does shit like throw a spear threw u and similar

Man those missed fully charged heavy smashes I felt them in my bones. Happened to me so many times 😂
Learned from yellow loong, use heavy attack when he is jumping towards u and he can't dodge it. Being said that I don't think i can clear this boss. 😂😂😂

One of the worst thing in the whole game. When 3-4 charged attacks not reaching the boss. It is so unfair, because you have long animation and cannot control much. Even more last boss often kicked me right away after my attack, so I missed and was hit (I supposed to be damage dealer in this situation). it sucks.
@@alexeylilichenko3295Just hit em both with charged attacks during immobilize, they are final bosses and are supposed to be a challenge. Thrust stance 4 point heavy after the roll also works wonders.
Just beat him before watching this.took me 6 hrs and a lot of farming and respecking. I use tiger pellets and loong pills before the fight for increase damage.apparima bat to freeze him when the shield was gone.come down to the wire.life-saving pill came in clutch. I just chuck my 4 focus point smash in the middle of his combo and finally beaten him. I would probably breakdown if that miss.😅
He didnt even do half the move sets he uses on me in this video.
Exactly. Any transformation I do he uses that bird and knocks me out of it or he never just stays still and takes those hits. All the guides I watch where their enemies are just idle, mines are on full attack mode no time to try and heal
He counters most other transformations but just talks during Azure Dust.
My problem is that my fan doesn't come back.

I was wondering why this fight was so hard but it was because my armor and weapons were underleveled. After I got the Wukong armor it took me 2 tries.
A lot of these how to videos really show the best case scenario in situations where I was not so lucky lol. I feel like when I was close to death Erlang would spam out on a 32 hit attack and I would run out of stamina tryina dodge it all until I was afforded more than 2 seconds of breathing room just to sip the gourd. Most of my deaths came from getting caught just tryina heal lol. Finally got this fucker tho..my god that was the most satisfying win of the game BY FAR
To be Honest, it's just that u keep trying until 1 time he doesn't just kill u. And this setup helps a little to do so

@@FortuneCookie187 in fact, a good build and combat tactics should have a margin of safety for mistakes. In this video, there are simply a huge number of mistakes, such as misses with a powerful attack of 4 focus. But fan and azur dust correct all mistakes and with a more successful try, much more resources will be saved.
He started panick rolling near the end, if he kept up with the previous performance it would have been an easy win

I didn’t find out about him till my first game plus.. now I’m on my 3rd and he’s waaaaaaay harder than the first time I fought him. Hell, that’s why I’m here 😶🌫️🤣 I’ve tried multiple different methods and I keep getting destroyed. His shield regenerates way quicker and his sky attack gets way stronger

You fight him on new game plus 3 and his shield regenerates over time if you take too long to whittle it away plus the shield comes back far quicker Not to mention phase 3 where he flies in the air and fires daggers at you the staff spin gets doesn’t work and gets destroyed I had to sprint away

U can retrieve Iron ball spirit from chapter 5 if u keep moving forward from 'emarald hall'
U will see Iron ball laying on the ground. Just go there and retrieve it and upgrade it to max

how did you allocate points in transformation? I feel like I don't even do a third to his shield using my rock guai
Go to Shrine -> Reignite sparks -> select ur spell section -> add points to the bottom bar

When I got him to half health the camera got pushed out of bounds and I spend the last half of the fight blind.
I have not defeated this boss yet, but i least with this guide i got him to a little less of half of his Hp.

@@lordnaota4862 I just defeated this boss like 2 hours ago, this guide really helped, with some strategy and luck i finally did it, but i am not very convinced about the rewards. And well in my case i am level 97 i think, it is not important unless that you keep in mind that it gives you more points to upgrade the abilities.

Yes, all you need to do is clear all secret areas and complete the spellbinder quest, then he'll be available

Go to chapter 6, collect armour and weapon and come back before fighting wukong

What did the patch do?
We were able to keep stunning him in the thrust stance with a particular move.
It removed the infinite mana glitch

If yall use the Tiger summon with the big sword he will auto kick you out of it.. Idk if it lore reason or not but it happened to me everytime
In that case elrang will turn into a bird and will kick u out in an instant
it happens with not just tiger but also 1-2 other transformations

Whenever i use any transformation spell he uses one and hits me
Out of it so I really don’t know how everyone is using the rock dude transformation and he’s not attacking ya at all cuz my experience fighting him I don’t get that type of special treatment and I been stuck for 2 days 😭
As far as I know brother that rock transformation does not take damage, so he will not be able to hit u out of it

If you use other transformations he either says "I've already beat you" or just kicks you out. BUT if you use the rock guy he thinks it's funny because being something like that would suck and be useless. You also have to use the transformation when he's yapping away not actively in an attack sequence.

He just throws immobilize back at me after the first time I use it. Completely useless spell for me..
try to use immobilize when his shield is not active.
or else it will only work when he is in a middle of some complex attack
In the first phase, immobilization works even if the barrier is not removed. And in the following phases, only if the barrier is broken.

This boss is impossible
The method he shows here really worked for me, keep at it and once you have better timing with dodges to his attacks, using the fan to break his shield is very effective. One thing to do on top of what he says here is wear the armor that gives you extra ki (gold one forgot what it's called), then you will definitely charge it fast enough to break his shield easily almost every time.
U people do know majority of us are on new game pluses and yall expect us to follow these guides
