Hello! This is the build I ended up beating him with. I also played most of the game with it. I didn’t realize that he won’t freeze with his shield up for the first few day I tried
This worked for me. Took a few tries as i got some random moves thrown in the mix but i had been stuck on this fight for days, trying out different builds and strats. Legend mate.
As of 9/17 this method works. Just finished. The only difference is that a lot of times the boss just does what he wants. Eventually though he’ll fall in line. Thanks for the video. Helped greatly

Immobilization without breaking the barrier only works in the first phase. In the following phases, in order for the immobilization to work 100 percent, it is necessary for the barrier to be removed and for Elran to become comatose under the influence of the tornado. When Erlan simply stands quietly or begins to carry out an attack, the immobilization may not work.
Was wondering why the hell wasn't getting similar results on the cooldown despite even having potions and being higher level. Only after I beat him did I realize I never swapped the headpiece, resulting in not getting the extra Qi per critical. Despite my dumb-assery, this build definitely helped!
This worked well, took me a while, and didn't have the proper stats for it, so i had to do some working on it. Was stressing in the Godzilla fight because I didn't want to fight him again. Really cool boss though.
@ bro on the first playthrough I killed the big rat first 🤦🏾 just about to start ng+ if I travel to chapter 2 and killed the father first then the son. Will that unlock the trophy 🏆?
With this method also still it took me around 20+ tries but yes it's the best way to beat coz without this I wouldn't be able to beat it I guess thanks a lot ❤
This is not a cheese. This is what strategising and using your brain looks like. Lol. Some people seem not to get it still. It’s about knowing which skills/spirits to use for specific bosses for optimal performance during the fight. I should’ve seen this video before defeating him. It took me 3-4 hours. 😂
@@SirBeachBoyyeah I just used the fan a couple times and the stone guy transformation and wandering wight. I don’t really think I cheesed it because I was actually fighting/dodging attacks not following a guide. I don’t think I’d be satisfied if I beat him like this, as tempting as it was lol
@@pemguim1120 Yeah I just meant making an entire build dedicated to not fighting the boss straight up, lol. Pride would kill me before I change the armor, weapon, spirits, or transformations I prefer, or start using medicines/ pills etc. for a specific boss

This build is great. Unfortunately in NG+5 the damage just isn’t there and he’s immune to immobilization unless after certain moves. Ugh 😢 attempt number 636473 coming up
With this build, basic medicines should be enough: Tiger Subduing Pellets and Amplification Pellets. And if you're having trouble in last phase, you can consider to use Loong Aura Amplification Pellets, Enhanced Tiger Subduing Pellets and Enhanced Ginseng Pellets.
Does this work still? On my 52nd attempt with all of this and still haven’t beaten him. I haven’t been able to summon the pluck of many clones at all even though I regenerated all mana Edit: NVM AFTER 4 HOURS OF THIS BUILD I FINALLY WON, tusk bro I would’ve never beaten this guy with any other guide or on my own.
@shengqian somehow I managed to freeze him in the final stage. I guess you got to catch him when he is done attacking. I finally beat him, so you strategy worked. Thanks
1. Spin can trigger lots of Critical Hit, which will restore Qi by Golden Armor Set. 2. "Sunset of the Nine Skies" in Brew can also restore Qi when you drink
Looks easy but trust it is not😂 Also… Strange with the new ps5 pro coming out but my system has been LAGGING so much since the new update day before yesterday… Strange🤨😏😏😏🤨🔥 System can’t even keep up with the speed and intensity of the fight ..very odd with more than enough hard drive space💨

After you climb off the big turtle. You can head to the right to find giant snake bone, there you will fight the armanat bat. You will defeat it but you won’t see spirit like other spirits.. it will appear on your list once you have it defeated. 😀

Bro, u can always trust Fan! Take an amplification pellet at the beginning of each phase, you'll get Qi back more quickly. Good luck😁😁😁

You can try "Falcon Hermit" with the same build: Use Spirit first, then follow Immobilize.

As long as your spinning can trigger enough Critical Hit, Fan should be charged quickly.
What happens if you try to hit him after using the fan? He'll hit back?
He will block and fight back. But Fan will keep interrupting him.

For some reason, he just unfreezes himself on the first phase. Not sure why it doesn't work for me.

I didn't take any med during this fight.
I prefer no tricks and straight up battle via Spell Binder, pure martial arts. Pain for the eyes, but it's rewarding nonetheless. Nice work though
how can you use the fan 3 times?
spinning can trigger enough Critical Hit to get Fan re-charged. Also, Brew in drink also can grant some Qi.

That's true. Boss can block Immobilize sometimes. You just need to try a few more times.
