Anyway whilst here did you make a video on this router about the QoS features? I can't seem to find it. There is a button on the left of the router that says game, and you can add say a gaming device in there which I presume uses QoS. Then again, there is an actual QoS section, with stuff like adaptive QoS etc which I've heard causes issues and you need to set manually? Do you have a video about this ? Yes, it is true because it lowers the security level, but it makes it very inconvenient for legitimate users because they have to manually type in the password.

i need actual help with mine. everything is not working it’s giving me invalids for everything and it’s telling me private wifi address or modify your network settings. there is nothing different or changed and it’s not letting any of my devices at all connect to it. did a reboot as the paperwork said. now it doesn’t recognize my log in information then trouble shooting told me too do a factory reset. and to start over did that and it’s still telling me everything is invalid.. what is wrong with this crap box?
Hello can you show the actual connection process for this Wireless/Bridge/WDS whatever being used here. I have the Asus RT-750L with similar Asus WRT with the WPS, WDS tabs. However it has no preconfigured profile for Wireless Bridging on initial setup. On the WDS tab, the router survey works and detects all AP nearby and I add my root router. However there is no option to enter the credentials of the root router. If I manually select wired bridge profile or disable DHCP first, the router becomes totally inaccessible naturally. So I want to see this WirelessBridge/WDS process in action. I established conformity with my other router as much as possible in SSID, password, channel, mode, and WEP but still not sure how or when the bridging is triggered. I wireless bridged other brand routers fine but having a headache with Asus.
Also what to do about about security being open for WDS. I do not want to use wireless bridge if it means my routers become unprotected. I guess I can do mac filtering but my devices generate random mac and I do not want to disable that.

Can you confirm from your end on the WDS page whether "Connect to APs in list" Yes/No buttons stay enabled when AP mode is set to AP only? The yes/no button gets disabled for me. Its enabled only for WDS mode. I think it is to lock the router from enabling Wireless Repeater AP mode. Similarly WPS works for printers but not when connecting to other routers. I was able to use ssh to trigger Survey+Join over 802.11AC with WPA authentication like any other Repeater, after following instructions on a forumpost.
@@HolyRamanRajya WPA is OK not very secure like the WPA2, so it's OK if you are far from your neighbors, but I don't recommend it in congested areas. I bought this router couple of days ago ... My IPTV coming from internet service provider via WAN stopped working after AX82 comes in between. tried connecting the TV device with LAN cable and wirelessly both and same situation .. tv channel starts playing then jitters and pauses .. The same WAN cable i put directly in TV device it works , i pass WAN cable via some other router to TV device .. it works perfectly .. But whenever Asus AX82 comes in between, the TV stops .. wonder what is the reason .. Disabled wifi 6 option, changed from router to access point mode ... same story Thinking to bring a switch in between so WAN cable go to switch .. then one cable from switch i put in AX82 and another cable directly to TV box in the hope to bypass AX82 .. if i knew about such complicated issues .. i would not have spent so much money on AX82 ..
A switch is nothing more than a Hub, it does not have any DHCP server to assign two separate IP addresses to your TV and your Asus Router. So I recommend that you update the firmware on your Asus router and see if you get better results.
@@TECHNOLOGYTIPS101 i was introducing a switch just to split the cable into two in the hope that i can bypass AX82. I fixed the issue wirelessly .. My first floor router repositioned to send strong wifi signals downstairs to IPTV box and i connected it . Working flawlessly .. and AX82 is serving other devices .... In this way Ax82 and IPTV are not directly linked ..
You will probably need to restart the devices that have identical NAT so there aren't any IP Conflicts. See Page 74 in this manual dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/wireless/RT-AX82U/E17523_RT-AX82U_UM_web.pdf

Thank you, I am using a Canon EOS RP Mirrorless Camera with 1080P and I am recording at 60fps and 40000bps data rate.

Where did you get the UI from? I can only find the app
You get by opening Chrome Web Browser, and at the place of website address enter this 192.168.1.1

Leave the Router ON, and restart your Cable Modem, it should refresh your Dynamic IP and everything should work fine.
Would have been great if you could have walked through a WDS configuration :(
