This was an awesome watch, I agree with some of the other commenters it honestly adds to the experience that it's not 1000% identical and perfect to AALs version, it shows that you've spent a long time working on this AND still could practice it through another 1000 times and still there would be some small imperfection or inconsistency or lick that provides a challenge to nail perfectly and that IS HOW IT IS for all of us, very few people can just learn the tabs and play a song this complex perfectly after a few run throughs. It adds to the authenticity, and is more relatable. With that said though this was an awesome cover and you show immense skill and talent and understanding of the guitar! Subbed btw
I love that you posted the song that isnt perfect. Its ok to not be as good as AAL. You still show incredible talent. One day maybe you can make something original incorperating all the different things you learned

I learned this by ear, and learning how to selective pick was easily one of my hardest challenges as a guitar player. I love the song, and it’s easily one of the best challenges I’ve learned for myself.
My personal favorite metal band is tool. But if you dive into the guitar you gotta consider the bass too cuz they swap riffs all the time. It's neat stuff
the way tosin plays it is that he picks two notes and the third note you hear is the left hand like hitting the string when he mutes it, you can see it pretty clearly in his playthrough its very cool
