Thank you so much for taking the time to create this!! I really had no system when I marked my previous Bible, but now that I've gotten a new one, I'd like to use a system that will be efficient and organized. I'm really intrigued by your method of marking and I think it will actually make it fun to look for and mark these special words and verses, while making it much easier to quickly find the scripture I'm looking for.

This is great. Already implementing this system. Its a shame that the video is so out of focus (usually I'm the only one who cares about that) - maybe an updated 2019 version of this video is due. Congrats for great impacting work

Mark 12:40 “or just as JONAH WAS THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS IN THE BELLY OF THE SEA MONSTER, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”
    (Matthew 12:40 NAS95)
I believe this voids your theory of the Friday night buried, Sunday morning resurrection. Jesus said the ONLY sign was 3 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS in the heart of the earth. He dies (as the Passover Lamb 1 Cor. 5:7, Lev. 23:5-8) on Wednesday and placed in the tomb before sunset. He rose on Saturday after sunset, which is the first day of the week for Hebrews. Jesus is our First Fruits 1 Cor. 15:23, Lev. 23:9-14

Very cool tool! TH-cam took me here through autoplay. I didn't realize videos like this were out there. The system you've come up with will be super helpful to those trying to develop Bible study habits. Thank you, guys, for serving the body of Christ in this way.
I am, however, really sad to see the conclusion the gentleman on te right came to regarding John 16 and the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of the modern day believer, specifically on whether or not anyone today filled with God's Holy Spirit can actually hear Holy Spirit speak to them.
It seems as if this gentleman was trying to make his case against false prophets, liars and deceivers claiming to speak on behalf of the Spirit of God. Scripture warns us of that this is real and we need to be attentive. However, scripture clearly says that the discernment required, to not be deceived by wolves in sheep's clothing, is supernatural; just like salvation, discernment comes from the Spirit of God as a GIFT and cannot be self-orchestrated (we don't have it in us).
The Word of God s also Spirit breathed, and everything we hear must measure up to scripture. God will not contradict Himself, so anyone speaking in opposition to the written Word of God is in indisputable error. There are times, however, when someone is speaking concerning of Jesus "correctly," quoting scripture "correctly", and as far as we can tell is correct. Sometimes the presentation is not our taste and they say something WE disagree with (not scripture). We need further discernment, beyond our natural capabilities to gain understanding by faith what we could not perceive by sight. We are not physically, mentally or spiritually capable enough to figure out what is the will/way of God APART from the Spirit of God (1 Corinthians 2:10); Discernment is a gift (1 Corinthians 12:10).
The entire Christian walk, as set out by Jesus and outlined by scripture in general, is impossible without the constant filling of the Spirit of God under the leadership of Jesus Christ and according to the will of our Heavenly Father.
In the same way that Jesus' coming was the Father's idea, so was the advent of the Spirit of God. It for the benefit of the church, for it is for our good that HE is here and Jesus is in Heaven. This was necessary so that we would be clothed in the power of God. For God's power exists only in the Spirit of God (Romans 8:11), which is the gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16).
We seem to forget at times that until Jesus returns the gospel will not be fully realized. The power we're called to demonstrate, the gospel we're called the demonstrate, the Jesus we're called to demonstrate/represent is only accessible to us through God's Spirit, and can only be released through us by His same Spirit.
How can we be obedient to Jesus if we don't know Him? The written word speaks to the existence and necessity of an intimate relationship with the Living Word. He speaks. Jesus, the Word of God, is active and living today. He speaks.
We need to hear Jesus. In real time. We live by EVERY word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
The dependency and obedience Jesus exemplified with the Father is what the Spirit of God has come to empower us to have with Jesus. We NEED to hear His voice to operate in the most basic ways. We need be so dependent on Holy Spirit's guidance that we cannot physically function in everyday life apart from Him. This will need to be our reality in order for us to be a pure and spotless bride when Jesus returns.
John 10:14-15 - Jesus' sheep have the same relationship with Him as He has with His Father.
John 5:30, 12:49, 14:10, 5:19,26:39, ch. 17, 10:25-30 - These are a handful of examples of the real time intimacy between Jesus and the Father, while Jesus walked on Earth.
Jesus is coming back for a bride more glorious than has ever existed on the face of planet earth--including the age of the apostles. The Father is not willing to see His Son married to anything less than His equal (which is why we're being transformed into the image of Christ). This WILL BE an amazing, supernatural work of the Spirit of God. This will require our ability to be submitted to God's Spirit in every area of our lives. This means that the promised work of the Spirit of God in John 14, 16 AND 1 Corinthians 2 (as well as EVERY SINGLE THING LAID OUT IN SCRIPTURE--2 Timothy 3:16-17) will need to come to pass in us, the modern day believer.
We must hear His voice (John 10: 25-30). We cannot function without it. We are ineffective and fruitless without it (Jonh 15).
An immature bride is one who: thinks apart from the mind of Christ; walks by sight, not by faith, or by God's Spirit; speaks according to the flesh, producing death instead of by the Spirit, producing life; treats the things of the Spirit as optional rather than integral; isn't fully given over to Christ because she hasn't died fully yet; is disobedient when confronted with an order from her bridegroom.
I'm guilty of all these things. But I see the hope of my calling: He's making me into that bride. I know that God does not require something of me that He hasn't already equipped and empowered me to do. He will get a PURE and SPOTLESS bride, equal to Him in every way. The church of today is not the church of tomorrow. It's coming, and what a glorious day that will be.
Love your desire to build up the body. I don't believe your interpretation of that scripture lines up with the Word of God as a whole. Thank you for taking the time to produce this Bible and this video though. God bless you for you effort to see Jesus glorified in His church KNOWING and studying His word.

ok so i have a question, when you're looking up a topic through a book, (i.e. love), can you just go through the whole bible as you're reading other books and do the same thing for every time you see that word/ word family?

You can, but sometimes different original language words might be translated into the same English word. Love is a good example. There are different words with different emphases in the original language for God’s love for us, godly love for the unsaved, romantic love, love toward other believers, etc. In those cases it can be helpful to go deeper and mark each one differently. To do that you would need a Strong’s concordance and a Strong’s number-linked dictionary. You can also use those to study the original meaning of any word in the Bible.

I wish there was a guide for beginners that basically gives bullet points of major events in each book. So if I want to read about a story of whatever it is I want to read that I can look through those bullet points (events) in each book and see which story I would like to read or like for psalms it would give a bullet point of it being a lot of songs. If there is anything like this PLEASE SOMEONE LET ME KNOW I NEED HELP WITH THIS thank you so much

Some Bibles have titles at the beginning of chapters. Then if you know what book it's in you can find the story or subject faster.

Truly Yours before reading any book in the Bible as he mentioned considered who wrote the book. which people the book was addressing...most likely (Israel/Ephraim/Samaria) the same place but different names. reading the Introduction part of the study Bible will really help. I watch a show called "quick study". I think u can find them on TH-cam...they really help me with navigating the old Testament t narratives. also a TH-cam channel called the "bible project" has been a blessing. they have done phenomenal work on each book of the Bible. their videos put you in the frame of mind you need to be in before reading the text. I've just really gotten serious about ready the Bible even though I have been a Christan for all my life. researching Theological topics have greatly helped with Bible Markings and I would not recommend this guy's method of just Marking certain. words. rather it would be better to study teaching on Theological topics and Mark scriptures for example .... (old Testament law vs Grace ) and what Christ and Apostle Paul said about it. if you need a guide on certain valuable making topics then let me know. I don't mind helping you as it will help me study too.
