In some old videos of Pritam Das , Vatva Alcos were doing 130 KM odyssy in WR fastest corridor with Bhavnager Kakkinada Exp etc. Even many developed countries have Alco locos with less than 3000 hp only while India and thanks to India that our SL and BD neighbours also have 3000HP Plus locos. This horn of alcos is so unique...... Actually I used to be scared of such horns when I used to hear them back in childhood days as I was regularly hearing GM emd horns from kengeri station .... As you too know emds used to visit mys stretch with various trains before electrification was complete
at 31:07 we can see 3 stupid guys cross the tracks and one of them pelt stones towards the train. I can still remember the spot at 38:37 where i did My 1st RF on this section.

Alcos will first get replaced by Wap 7's, after traction change only the icf coaches will change to lhb
