You might say that its different because humans made those stories, but we also made the AI that made this. The difference this time is that there is an extra step in between us the creator and the finished product.

In particular, the overseas background has a very similar composition to TH-cam tourism promotion videos, but it feels more like it was created by synthesis rather than AI creation. I'm curious what sources it was created by crawling. I think the 6:15 robot video is the most similar in quality to the existing text to video video. And the video of someone lifting a chair in the desert is very similar to the cam video of ordinary people. The technology is so great that it would be very easy to replace advertising videos or banner-type animations.

@@cesar4729 I suppose the AI process are not enough reliable yet, so the experimentation on this early stage is for entertainment. But I hardly believe that we as a society should evolve into a more artistic life and care about the environment...and less attending to produce money for the "big machine"/capitalism system.
And now we see music, painting, poetry, stories, books...al AI generated and we as humans are still tied to exploitation, working all day, mental illness everywhere...
Whatever...at least I hope AI gets regulations...I don't know...maybe an obligatory sign that says "AI generated", so we can decide what kind of artists want to follow and support.

@@CamiloSotoMusicothe machine you used to type your comment was the product of capitalism. AI is a product of capitalism, OpenAI makes millions, despite them being a “nonprofit.” Capitalism drives innovation, because the truth is, people are greedy and don’t want to help their fellow man unless they get something out of it. I just can’t, or maybe I just don’t want to, imagine a world where AI replaces humans in all facets of life, and we just sit there and fuck around all day.

AI Image/Text Generation has scaled quickly by digesting massive amounts of data that was essentially stolen, or used under the guise of being "nonprofit research" despite OpenAI now making millions. As a christian, and an armchair theologian I find this technology fascinating. If you are familiar with the series, "The Chosen" then you see and understand the emotional connections that can be developed from a compelling story, well told.
I have posed deep questions of theology to the "Claude II" Ai model and have found the responses compelling, articulate and precise.
Imagine if someone were to feed the text of one of the smaller old testament books, say, the book of Hosea or Obediah, into an Ai model like this. It would build you a solid short movie that might be theologically sound and visually compelling... Then you could even say, "now take that same story, put it in a modern context, with modern characters, and have it all take place on a cruise ship." 😆
Wow! Dont know if thats a good thing, but....wow!
