Sort of. I’ll see if I can find the blog and video I watched a while back that gave me a really good idea of how LLM’s and generative AI function.
AI does the same thing as you or me. Look at millions of examples and capture their patterns, their concept as a thing. You can then combine those patterns into anything you want, just like you can draw a green dog because you know what shapes make a dog a dog and what that color is.
Not by taking a reference photo. Thats a really inefficient way of work at scale.

As a christian, and an armchair theologian I find this technology fascinating. If you are familiar with the series, "The Chosen" then you see and understand the emotional connections that can be developed from a compelling story, well told.
I have posed deep questions of theology to the "Claude II" Ai model and have found the responses compelling, articulate and precise.
Imagine if someone were to feed the text of one of the smaller old testament books, say, the book of Hosea or Obediah, into an Ai model like this. It would build you a solid short movie that might be theologically sound and visually compelling... Then you could even say, "now take that same story, put it in a modern context, with modern characters, and have it all take place on a cruise ship." 😆
