    Also playing the previous gen Cobra King Tec hybrids and completely agree. Best hybrid on the market, terrific look and feel, love the adjustability though mine was fit to set and forget

    Kevin put me into the King Tec 2 and 4 hybrids early last year. I play each at 1 degree weak on the loft. Absolutely love both of them.

      Do you also use a fairway wood? Also what's the next club after the 4h?

    Wish I found this channel months ago. OUTSTANDING content. Very little blah blah blah and gets right to the point, very analytical and great information. Keep it up!

    I am a lefty with a major wrist and hand injury. I am going with Ping , I can go all the way to 7 hybrid.

    I’ve found the standard Paradyms the longest, straightest & tightest dispersion I’ve ever had - previously had Apex 21, ping g425, ping g410, ping g400, Steelhead XR - you should probably record this a different day with more shots & a less knackered ball tester 😂

    I've got the ping, mainly because its a scoring club for me and need the grouping. I tried the stealth, lengthwise it was longer but it also had a longer shaft!

    Im trying to find a clubs to feel the gap between my 3 wood and 5 iron. I hit my 5 iron around 200 and my 3 wood around 255. What club would you suggest?

    • @2ndswing
      @2ndswing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question! We have a video on this coming soon actually. It will depend on your current ball flight and what you're looking to get out of these clubs. The most important part will be the gapping. Based on your yardages, you'll want a club for 215-220 and a club for about 235.
      The highest launching and typically most forgiving option is a higher-lofted fairway wood such as a 5-wood or 7-wood, followed by a hybrid. A good 235-yard option for you would be a 5-wood, a 3-hybrid, or a 3-iron utility. For a 215-220 yard club, you could go with a 7-wood, 4-hybrid, or perhaps a 4iron utility club. Just remember that the smaller the clubhead appears at address, the lower launching and less forgiving it is. So, if you are a higher spin player seeking to reduce the ball flight, a utility iron might be your best bet. However, if you want to launch the ball higher with these clubs, fairway woods and hybrids are the way to go. Hopefully this helps! Stay tuned for the video coming soon... - Drew

    Great video! Would like to know how the Cobra King Tec compares to the previous King Tec model; is it worth the extra money to buy the 2023 model?

      Wondering also maybe Kevin has input? I seen someone say the newer is slightly less anti left. Not sure on spin either

    Is the cobra at 17 degrees a 2 or 3 hybrid, and why didn’t you test the Taylormade plus version that is adjustable ?

    Nice work. But didn’t the 19 degree perform better than the 17 degree one? Or were they all set to same degree.

    Ping is a cheat stick here in dispersion and accuracy. MyGolfSpy said the same thing. Should be everyones choice.

  • @alysgolfstudio567
    @alysgolfstudio567 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    After testing these and others given my swing and swing speed ended up going with the apex hybrid which I found more suited and accurate for me with the aldila pl blu shaft. So did not go with any of the new models. No real meaningful additional performance value for money.

    No mention of shafts, they play a big part.

    • @2ndswing
      @2ndswing  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For sure. The issue in testing hybrids against one another is that same brands have an adjustable hosel, and some don't. So we can't really test all of them with the same shaft but we made it as close as we could. Thanks for watching!
