    Love my blackpack pro crate, I use the 13x16 and being able to carry my deep crankbait box (3700 deep box) and my 3700 plano edge jig box with room to spare was a selling point for me with the crate, yakattack knocked ot out of the park with this design!

      How do you like the rod holder tubes?

      @@battlefieldoutdoors I love them! I fish a very open lake with no major overhanging obstructions so they are utilized frequently. Love the tethers for keeping the rods secure should the worst happen

      @@soldierofdirt81 Agreed! We like them much better than the H-crate bungees.

    I was trying to decide which YakAttack box to purchase 13x16 or 16x16 for my new Old Town PDL 120 because I use Plano 3700s for lure storage. Now I know to order the YakAttack 13x16 will work for me fine. Thank you so much for the excellent video demonstration.

    The Hobie crates weigh less than the Yak attack. Less weight = better for my applications.

    Do you know if there is a strap option for the blackpak pro? Similar to the Hobie straps. Or have you seen anyone make straps out of the clips it comes with? I prefer straps over bungee.

      Don't believe they have that option for the BlackPak Pro, buy you can always make your own or find something that may work.

      We've come up with an easy solution for this, because when that Blackpak is loaded down it's pretty dang heavy and the bungee cords allow it move all over the place during a flip. What we did is made a loop with 550 paracord (about 2.5" in diameter) that goes through that hole in your omni hooks, and another 550 paracord loop that goes through the tie-down point on your kayak. Then take a basic webbing strap with a cam-buckle and run it through the loops. Your Blackpak ain't going nowhere now!

      Yakattack sells vertical and horizontal tie downs that are rail mounted. Add some rails to the black pack pro and kayak and I believe there's a solution for you. Just a $$$$ one

    can you angle the rod holders on the yakAttack?

    • @Headwatersadventure
      @Headwatersadventure  ปีที่แล้ว

      You should be able to mount the rod holders at an angle on the BlackPak
