      Thanks again! This is my second video I've watched on your Utube and I am normally not an "E" bike fan. But I'm here to tell you that you are helping to peak my interests a bit. Been a custom bike, toy, go cart, etc, etc, builder since the early 1970's. You Sir are easy to understand, and your personality keeps me captivated waiting for the "what's next¿!" 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙏🏼💪🏼😎👍🏼🏁

    Consider watching a tutorial on shock setup. that dial is rebound speed, not compression. It's very individualized but you'll get a heck of better ride if you learn your preference. Love the videos keep em coming.

    They must be very proud of their basic bike. That price tag. No assecories like flaps and integrated tail light. I checked your link but damn. At 1000 dollars i would and not kidding buy 3 of them for my wife, kid and myself.

    $2968 for this bike with fenders and a rack? I'm sorry that is way too much in my opinion and you still gotta upgrade the headlight and seat.
    I'm not saying anything bad about the bike overall. The bike is looks great. But it's not complete. Fenders, headlight, no brake light. I will give some on the rack. I get that to a degree. Just seeing this I'd think all of their bikes are drastically overpriced. They may want to consider a more reasonable price.

      Overpriced? I don't know about the bike prices in America but in Europe most good e bikes cost 4000-5000 Euros

    My new Enduro bikevis torque sensor it makes you want to pedal plus I can change when I crank the pedals how quick I get power to the motor now I know why the pro mountain bikes cost what they do!

    Those Kenda Krusade are the shittiest tires I have ever used. They only lasted me like 7 months riding on the streets of NYC. They are so thin, that I had a blowout half a block away from home. That's when I got myself the Shinko's 244, I love those motorcycle tires. That is the best investment I've made for my Sondor's XS fold. I use Flat-out for flat protection, that Slime is crap.

    • @utubeape
      @utubeape 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      and its hard to push the bike along with a flat when the tyres are so thin they deform too much

    Love the bike! Have had it for 2 years and there are so many pros with this bike but for the cons the front light sucks at night, and it the handlebars were too far forward for me. I got a new stem so its not like 4 inches out like you see on the video

    • @tonypaddler
      @tonypaddler 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It sure is a good looking bike! They are available here in the UK too.
      What kind of range could you expect to get out of it using a low (Eco?) setting and mostly pedalling on fairly flat terrain?
      Thanks 🙂👍

    I actually love the saddle on my Ovia … and I’m 260lb. 😂
    Great review as always MCD, I have a couple of bikes with Logan brakes on and for 2 piston stoppers they’re awesome.
    Cyrusher, just brilliant components from the off but at this price point there should be a brake light, but everything for me, it’s an awesome bike out of the box. ❤

    I commute to work every day damn near 15 mile round trip, this is a dope bike but at that price it's a hard pass for me with what's out in the market. No cruise control, torque sensor and 750 watt motors doesn't cut it for me. Cadence sensor is sooo much better if commuting it's basically a second throttle on my Freesky Himalaya. I would go with the Freesky Alaska or swift horse over this with 1000 watt motor and nice ass frame build on both. Both under 2k.

    I am 165 cm (5'5") and this bike would be too tall for me, but I really like it. Do you think that by sawing off the saddle tube and replacing the handlebar stem with a shorter one, I could use it comfortably? With the saddle at a minimum, how many centimeters are there between the seat of the tube in the bike frame and the point where the saddle would rest if the tube was shorter? I need it to figure out how many centimeters I can make up by sawing the tube. Thank you very much.

    Another downside of this ebike for me is, for it to have such a powerful battery (52v). Why does it have a small motor? (750w). Heavy bike with a single small motor is a bad combination. You'll never get a faster ride, especially if you're in the 200lb+ size weight class...

    • @MrCentralDriver
      @MrCentralDriver  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      if you pedal this bike if you watch around the 13:40 min mark. it has tons of power. but with throttle only it feels just like a normal 48v bike on average but it needs the 52v power because its 116lbs! not a 80-90pound 52v bike

    • @raymondharris6599
      @raymondharris6599 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @MrCentralDriver Unfortunately for me, I fit into the "Throttle only category" due to me having a bad right hip. So, peddling a bike, especially a heavy bike, isn't an option for me. 😮‍💨 SIGH!! Sucks to be me...

      The bike was made to climb 7% to 22% grade for 10 or more miles and be a miser on battery drain . @ 230# in pas 1 , I get 60 miles on one battery at a speeds of 20-23 mph in 2:45minutes . it's not a race bike it a Mt. Climbing beast for less than $4--6 thousand...😊. No reviewer ever gives the Ranger a True review on its possibilities.
