    so, would this be a good coverage crop, mixed with other small grains in 1?

    They can cover some ground in a days time if they have enough trucks to keep up.

      Bad enough harvesting it during nicer fall weather on the northern Great Plains, but add in the heat and humidity in Louisiana this time of year…hate to be the guy standing next to the truck dumping into the bins.😮😱

    Didn’t realize milo was grown in Louisiana. How does milo fit in the crow rotation? Thanks for sharing.

    Do you plant a fall crop behind the milo? What’s the next crop on this field?

    • @AerialAg
      @AerialAg  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They were planning to clear this field and plant sugar cane which wont be ready to harvest till next year.

      @@robertwilliamsjr.9195 I gotcha, I really enjoy heading up north a bit seeing those grain farms. We just have sugarcane around here, with a bit of soybeans.

    Very cool! There is a big milo field only a couple miles from my house that was just finished being harvested yesterday. Did you manage to get any corn harvest action this year?
