Harness Farms Corn Harvest - Frankfort Indiana

- Corn Harvest video from a family farm near Frankfort Indiana. In this Video you will see this farm harvesting their 2021 corn crop using their Case IH 8250 combine with a Deere 616C corn head and their John Deere S660 combine with an 8 row head. Running beside the combine to keep the harvested corn moving from field to truck they are running their John Deere 8310RT tractor pulling a J&M 1312X grain cart.
Although the field conditions were a little on the muddy side the sun was shining and they were able to move along with their 2021 corn harvest. I've done a few other videos at this farm before and hope to get back this spring for some planting videos.

These machines are so advanced that they are able to perform tasks that were once thought impossible. They are operating at another level of capability.
The grain cart guy seems the busiest. His timing has to be pretty good and can’t skip about beat or you got nearly $2 mil worth of machinery doing nothing.
This machinery is sooo big. I remember granddad moving up from four row to six row and a JD 95 from a 55.
We had a neighbor who had an eight row planter. You’d think he bought a unicorn with people from all over wanting to see something that big.

Thanks for your excellent series of videos. I grew up on Confederation Line just a mile east of Wyoming, Ontario. Over the years, I drove past the Parkland Farms all the way back to when Confederation was a gravel road. A huge belated thank you for the video of huge line of John Deere combines bringing in the harvest. I look forward to more of the same in the future.

This particular kind of harvesting appeals to me simply because it leaves all the organic material in the fields for next planting. Also the fact that three men and a million dollars worth of machinery can do more work than several hundred men doing it by hand.

Definitely an acre-eating pair. Could not have any bottlenecks in the grain hauling/handling system to keep it all moving.

Which combine is the best to have?
I love combines. The money it takes to farm today is unbelievable. Soon they will do it by remote control or by GPS control.

I know the throat in that 8250 is like the grand canyon but it is amazing you can get all that material through the feeder housing...

Is there much to setting up a case combine for a deere header.
As far as I know just a head adapter.
I run an older Deere head on a NH , just need to change pto ends to 540 spline and cut couple slots in head for my lock clams
