  • Lots of grinding, but I finally got a pretty decent time. Should be WR. The achievement requires you to start as Granada and become Andalusia while owning + coring all of Iberia. The coring aspect makes the end game slower compared to typical speedruns where coring is not required. In hindsight, I played way too conservatively (see my adm points at the end).

    FAQ:
    Why no cb Shirvan?
    - To seize and core Dagestan. This is a European province that western tech nations can't see, so by moving my capital there, I can prevent coalitions from them.

      Wow that’s really something new for me, I’m going to use it in my runs, might be fun as Byzantium to quickly fully take Venice

      For some countries A, B, and province C, if B is a vassal of A and C is adjacent to B, you can conquer C provided all are on the same continent.
      This is how minor tags join the hre through East Frisia. It also is useful for East/South Asian tags to quickly get to Europe for institutions, HRE, or to quickly conquer future great powers. Ofc for Uzbek and Oirat this isn’t necessary. Conversely with humanist ideas Europeans can conquer in the near east towards India this way.
      A couple other uses are to conquer Ireland and colonize early, to expand as an isolated native tag, to colonize the moluccas as ryukyu or take the mandate early.
      I was trying as vijayanagar to become hre and form Prussia as zoroastrian with the Marathas privilege for 160% potential discipline. I would use a similar situation to nocb biapas then take shirvan, move the capital, get maps, and take the Teutonic order, coring the livonian. Long story short I think it’s better to start as Poland and form Rajputana, shift to another Indian culture, get the privilege, then shift to Saxon and form Prussia. Or culture shift to get Marathas after forming Prussia.

      @@KuhulAjawMapGaming Some corrections:
      B has to core and own an adjacent province -- ownership isn't sufficient. Also, B does not have to have its capital in the same continent as A nor C. What matters is A's capital is in the same continent as C.

    The AE-test was skewed because your starting ruler was careful (-10% AE)

      Thank you again for answering my incompetent questions lol. That explains why I had more AE in the actual run :P

    1.32.2 is the best patch this game has ever been.

    • @lambdaxx1
      @lambdaxx1  ปีที่แล้ว

      In terms of ease of expansion, I certainly agree. It does feel a bit "too" cheap though, but for me, the alternative is 1.33.3, which is just a miserable experience to play in. I hope that 1.34 makes the game more enjoyable for me, so I can move on.

    • @CharlieKellyEsq
      @CharlieKellyEsq ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lambdaxx1 I played a few campaigns on 1.33, which I do on every major update to see how the in game changes effect the UX. florence, and mewar. Those combat changes were miserable, not so much with mewar, as india is a ffa, but with florence, I was struggling to get through the 1460's on multiple occasions by fighting larger nations simultaneously

    th-cam.com/video/2eiDjSMdeEI/w-d-xo.html Marokkos troops were in the Mamluks territory from the Tlemcen-war and probably got black flagged and had to walk back first in your first war with Castile
