Thank you for this video! I was very confused about this product, and you answered my questions. I really thought this glue had glitter in it when I heard the name. I couldn't figure out why glue had glitter in it. I didn't know what to order due to the different lids, so I appreciate you clearing up my questions. I have tried glue in the past and ruined every card I made with the glue, never thinking there was a difference which glue I used. I watch Maymay using glue and I don't put on any more than she does so I don't think that is the problem. So, now that I know what to order I am going to try the Art Glitter Glue and hope that helps. Thank you, Susan
I bought this glue from Maymay a week ago and I have fallen in love with it. It works just as great as what she says. Thanks Maymay for a wonderful product
THANK YOU, MAYMAY!! After watching your GRAMS' Brag book tutorial, I am ready to tackle a birthday book for my daughter! You make it look so doable and your information on this glue is the trick! I don't have a craft room full of paper crafting supplies, but your video inspires me to pick the paper, the photos, memes, quotes and just get on it! (I'll let you know how it turns out)
I was uncertain in the directions for installation of the fine tip. The instructions were slightly confusing. This really gave me comfort that I did it correctly! Thanks!
Hope you see this, since this is an older video , but how do u recommend storing your glue when you don't use daily? I have the 4oz with the fine metal tip and straight pin but was wondering if I should store in original cap since I don't use daily..thanks
For anyone wondering the same I read that it's only for temporary use and if you go long stretches between usage and not daily use then use the original pop off cap to seal it from any air. Another thing, I just bought my first AGG in the 4oz and it's long and skinny like the 2oz only taller..in case anyone was needing to know.
I have used this glue for years. Barbara Tromley introduced it on a craft show I watched. Used it with cling vinyl (which they no longer sell) and laser toner. Filled in areas with glue and glitter and use for any glass surface. Glue is wonderful. Had it so long they have changed the packaging!
I love this glue!!!! I too started with the smallest bottle. But when I reordered I bough the next size up. Thank you Maymay for introducing me to this amazing product!!!
Thank you so much for this video! I would only add when you get a new bottle take the lid completely off and take the seal off and then put the lid back on
I got mine a few weeks ago and LOVE it. I have severe Fibromyalgia and purchased the 4 ounces, It is easy to use and I have no problem squeezing the bottle. Thanks and God Bless.
Sold out!! Nuts! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this glue, will definitely be keeping tabs on your store so I can get the 8oz refill bottle. I read they won't ship it in the winter because getting too cold ruins it so I know I need to grab it up before cold weather!
This is the greatest glue ever. Since it was Maymay approved I knew I had to try it. I have bought the small bottle and then the refill bottle. I wasn't sure about the metal tip, but it will be in my stash shortly. I am also looking forward to trying the "White Drying Glitter Glue". I think it would be most helpful with Christmas crafts that need snow. Who knows it might make the white dash marks we all love so much!!!
Love love this glue. I bought the 4 oz size and have used it for months. I got a black metal pin and my only problem is on my black mat I lose it all the time.lol. I painted a white dot on top so I could find it.haha I recommend this glue very highly.
Hi MayMay ❤️. I have a question. Can the art glitter glue be watered down at all? When I first start my bottle it seems slightly thinner but towards the end of the bottle it gets thick. If I added a few drops would it ruin the glue? Thank you Debbie
Thank you so much for this information…I always wondered if I was doing the lid on this correctly…I was NOT. I did not screw down the silver cap. Now I’m good to go THANKS!
Thanks for the video. Everyone says this is the greatest glue, so I bought some. I just got it today, so I searched for a video on the metal tip to make sure what I was doing. I can't wait to give it a try.
what about transferring from the refill bottle to a smaller size bottle? I like the 4 oz. size best, for my hand size. Are there any tips or tricks you can share on that? thank you so much. Suz
I have not added the tip because I was puzzled by threads, the Bottle tip was not threaded. Your instruction ended the mystery, I feel silly for not seeing this as option. Thank you for simple, informative and explaining it so well.
I love this glue! The only time I have seen the dried glue is when I got it on sequins. I ordered the 8 oz bottle and bought the red tip. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this glue!
The question that comes to my mind regarding the metal fine tip is, how do you clean it? There comes a point where you have to clean it, and so I tried boiling it and then picked at it with a pin, but it was very time consuming. Do you have an easier way of doing it? Is there a safe solution I can use that will dissolve any residue within the tip? Hmm....
(Please disregard my question below! I just wasn't paying attention LOL) I am not sure how to open the tip that comes installed on the 2 oz bottle! I know that the spout part will move back and forth but there is no hole for anything to come out. Do I slice the top off with a knife or what? I don't want to ruin the tip as I don't have a tip that fits this bottle. Please help, Been looking for a while, Crazy that I can't find it. 75 years old and don't know how to open a glue bottle haha. I assume if the top was open then it twists to open and close but I am not sure if I slice the very top off or do I cut part way down to remove an upper tip when using? Thanks for any help. OMGosh! At 4:02 you show what to do! I had no idea all I had to do was pull the whole top off to expose an inner tip! Lovely! Thank you thank you! gosh what a lifesaver! THANK YOU!
I liked the video, it was helpful! I went straight to your store and the large one that I was going to order is sold out!! When will you have it available? I need the red lid and fine tip as well
Thanks for this video. Love that there are various sizes available and everyone seems to love this glue. I am addicted to the Glossy Accents one but I am definitely going to try this one. TFS, Evy
New to card making and have been using glue stick for putting cardstock together. I have not used this for cardstock yet as I have a question. When gluing two pieces of cardstock together do you brush the glue all over or just do a thing line near edges? Thanks from a newbie!
I'm making a fabric journal and wonder if it would work gluing fabric to fabric? Don't know if you've ever tried that? I know it works for gluing fabric to paper just fine and dandy.
This video is 6 years old and I do not know if you will even see it. I have 4 of these little tips and I cannot figure out how to put the tip on. Thank you so much, Also, please remind your customers that this product will not ship in the winter so they will remember to order extra to get them through the cold months
Hi, Maymay! I purchased the 1oz bottle because it was all you had in stock at the time (besides refill bottles.) I'm a first time user of Art Glitter Glue. Do I have to cut the tip off? I'm scared I'll mess it up and there's no mention of this in your video.
WOW, only two days after you post this video and your website is all sold out. Any idea when you will get more in? I love this stuff! And how much is your shipping cost?
Maymay, My art glitter glue separated. How do I fix it so that I can use it? The stuff at the bottom is globbed and the stuff at the top is liquid. I can not shake it to mix it.
I love this glue, my absolute favourite and I rarely use double sided tape when paper crafting anymore. It is the only glue I've found that doesn't show when working with vellum. But I have a hard time finding it in Canada. I was going to bite the bullet and pay the extra for shipping & the exchange...but you're out of stock on all of them, too. Oh well...I'll keep trying. Debbie :)
I agree with you Debbie I am in Canada also and have a hard time finding this glue which I love. I have lost the top from the plastic top so I have to use the metal tip but It is hard to find replacement pins as over time they do get lost or bend.
I also ordered the Pins kit, mostly for the little spoon, lol, but it included a cloth, I assume to clean the pin with, and 6 "Noodgers". What are those for?
Hi. I just opened a brand new bottle and it is coming out like water! It purchased about 10 months ago and aLways kept in my house, normal room temperature. What happened??
Hi I am having a problem when working on a project and using the metal tip it clogs frequently, how do I stop this, I have the stainless steel pin but would like a solution to the clogging problem if there is one........btw your tutorials are amazing!!)))
Excellent explanation, I believe this is my first time watching your TH-cam channel. Was impressed! I LOVE Art Institute glitter, especially their ultrafine transparent glitter and use this type ALL the time!!! Do you do classes with Art Institute glitters? It doesn't seem that Art Institute has classes or does online TH-cams at this point which is unfortunate because I think that no one creates a better glitter... :) But perhaps it just isn't possible right now, I am sure they have their reasons, I am not criticizing, just wishing as I want to learn more of how to use their glitter in new ways. Thanks again for your great tutorial, Maymay! :)
Does it warp? I've tried everything except this, and so far everything warps at some point which is so frustrating. Because it doesn't take long for a tiny album to end up being a small fortune from the supplies to paper to embellishments, to it being to ugly to use or give as a gift because of the warping.
We pay a lot here in Canada, don't we!!! I've started shopping online especially after our local crafting store closed, but I live close enough to the US border to go over and shop, but our dollar isn't going too far at the moment. A tough choice... If I had a local stamping store, then I'd support it and I did... I too love this glue, I like different glues for different projects...I use two most of the time, this one and for a thicker glue I use Crafter's Pick The Ultimate, it holds embellishments like paper flowers I make extremely well, I learned about this one watching a TH-cam video, the cheapest place to buy it is Hobby Lobby if you are ever in the US...it is $5.99 US for 8 ounces (found in glue section, not papercrafting) plus you can use a 40% coupon. When using the glitter glue, I do find that it clogs quickly , even while working on a project and need to put the cap the pin in right away, do you find this Maymay? Thank you
Thank you, is this glue good for gluing paper to paper or will the paper buckle? It was great yesterday to add sequins to my card! Also, Why is it called glitter glue, does it work for glitter well?
love this glue....but for the life of me, I cannot keep the 'flow' going, even with the pin in it!! Everytime I go to use it I have to 'clear' the lid of all glue to get it to flow........do I need to tap tap tap it when I put it down to get the glue out of the lid?????? it looks so easy when you pick it up and just swiggle it down the page.........I'm having to use a toothpick to even use the glue. thanks for any suggestions!!!
I have the same problem, so frustrating and disappointing as everyone raves about this glue. I even bought a fancy pin with beads on it to put in, so wasted that money as well. Hope someone answers. The only thing I can think of is I live in a colder climate and it is winter here.
Maymay - I have a question - my tip has gotten gunky and the glue has harden (due to forgetting to put the pin back in). I have tried digging it out (didn't work) soaking it in hot water (didn't work either). What do you suggest to clean it?
Sadly for me,it say your glues are all sold out! And the glue cap! I was going to order the large one, the red cap and the fine tip. Any idea when they will be in?
My local stamp store, that I used to buy this glue from, closed. I see that you have "state side?" Does that mean you consider, Alaska, an international place?
Best presentation on this topic. More complete than the manufacturer's you-tube on the topic. Thank you!
Thank you for this video! I was very confused about this product, and you answered my questions. I really thought this glue had glitter in it when I heard the name. Thank you. I finally understand . You explained it so much better than then the company.
5 years later and this video is still so helpful and answered all my questions. Thank you!

She is right. This glue is fabulous! Just got the small bottle very quickly. Thanks MayMay.
So do I leave the metal time on all the time or take it off and clean it until I need it again?
Thank you! So very helpful. Feel silly asking questions as a newbie. Appreciate greatly.

Thanks for the clarification Maymay, I wasn't sure how to install the fine metal tip.
Thank you Finally started using this glue! 🙂
Mine seems to have thickened over the last year (not cold in FL). Is there an acceptable way to thin it?
I love this glue! The only time I have seen the dried glue is when I got it on sequins. I ordered the 8 oz bottle and bought the red tip.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this glue!

Can this glue be used on faux leather are fabric? Thanks so much for the tips Thanks for sharing!!😀❤️😀
Here I am in 2023 trying to figure out the glitter glue bottle! So thank you for this wonderful glue!
Hi Maymay,
So happy you turned me on to this glue, I absolutely love it
Hugs, Stacy
This glue is fantastic! Thank you for the video and having this available in your store.
I'm making a fabric journal and wonder if it would work gluing fabric to fabric? Don't know if you've ever tried that? I know it works for gluing fabric to paper just fine and dandy.
May may .... I have the small bottle with the long skinny tip... I cut some off before putting on the fine metal tip is that right???
I bought the 4oz bottle and the fine tip. This stuff is great! I can't use it all the time since I have some other liquid glue to use up first.
I use this glue on every project I make. It is amazing!
I googled how to thin out my art glitter glue and this video did not answer that question. But I found out some other information so thanks for that.
I love it, best glue I've used so far.
It's the best glue that I have used...
Do you have a direct link to this glue in your store rather than scroll a bunch of pages? Also, do you carry the 3 pack with the thin nozzle?

I’ve just bought this glue, the fine metal tip and a pack of six spare pins. With the pins there are six “Noodgers” . What are these for ?
Probably extra's in case you lose them or you might transfer to other bottles you'll have the pins to keep it closed.
It is really the best glue EVER!
Is this glue get sticky on your if you accidentally touch?
Thank you so much... just bought a small and medium bottle....
I really want to try it 4 a long time & now is the time to do so! Tfs
xx,
Kat
Thank you for the instructions, MayMay!
This glue is sooooo amazing!
Thank you for the instructions. I just got mine and this really helps me.
I just purchased the refill from you. Do you have suggestion on how to refill the small bottle easily?
I only remove a corner of the seal on the big bottle to have more control on filling the small bottle
@@speglerette Very smart! Not everyone would think of that! TY!

My 8 oz bottle of glitter glue became thick and doesn't pour freely into my 2 oz bottle How do I thin it out for easy pouring?
I bought the pins kit. What is the cards and fabric for?
I also ordered the Pins kit, mostly for the little spoon, lol, but it included a cloth, I assume to clean the pin with, and 6 "Noodgers". What are those for?
Those are for “scooting” glitter around the page. The art glitter company offers that for its glitter users.
Hi. I just opened a brand new bottle and it is coming out like water! It purchased about 10 months ago and aLways kept in my house, normal room temperature. What happened??

Hi Maymay! Is Art G,itter Glue a flexible when dry pva glue?
Hello, Art Glitter Glue is not the same as PVA, it is more like the traditional art glue for paper crafting
Hi I am having a problem when working on a project and using the metal tip it clogs frequently, how do I stop this, I have the stainless steel pin but would like a solution to the clogging problem if there is one........btw your tutorials are amazing!!)))
Let it soak in some soapy water for a while then clean it out
What is the shelf life of the Art Glitter Glue? I tried to refill mine and it was really liquidy?
My Art glitter glue is the same way hope we get an answer .

Is it considered a P'VA glue?
I love this glue! It's the only kind I use. It would be great if we could buy extra stainless steel pins though.
+Charlotte Taylor you can get stainless steel pins in the craft stores. They sell them, or at least people have told me they do! Lol. Thanks!
Is this stronger than the ranger multi medium matte?
Can you tell me where I can order the red rubber tips for the art glitter adhesive?
Yes, I love this glue.......
I want some of the glue" & the tip...

Best glue in the world! Lol. I love it!!

MayMay - how can I clean dried glue out of my metal tips so that I can use the metal tip on a new bottle?
Hello ...remove the tip and soap in hand sanitizer and then remove the glue bits, thanks
you said invisible does that mean matte clear or shiny clear?
I just love love love watching you..

I have the same problem, so frustrating and disappointing as everyone raves about this glue. I even bought a fancy pin with beads on it to put in, so wasted that money as well. Hope someone answers. The only thing I can think of is I live in a colder climate and it is winter here.

+Denise Williams I have soaked my metal tip in hand sanitizer until it is loose then I use my tweezers to dig in and get it out. Hope that helps!
Thanks I will give that a try - both of my tips are clogged. Thanks MayMay.
Thanks, Maymay!

Hi I just tried to order the 8 ounce refill do you know when you will be getting more in?
+Barb Duggins we try to keep this in our inventory but we sold out after the video went up. It should be back by the end of the week. Thanks!
Much more detail than the other video, which did not mention taking off the top of lid or to remove the seal.
Sadly for me,it say your glues are all sold out! And the glue cap! I was going to order the large one, the red cap and the fine tip. Any idea when they will be in?
+heidi varden we try to keep this in our inventory but we sold out after the video went up. It should be back by the end of the week. Thanks!
Maymay what glue and proses do you use to attach magnets? Tfs
+linda mayor I use sticky tape and sandwich them between the papers on the project.
Do we need to order extra glue before this winter because you had a hard time getting it last year? Don't want to run out.............LOL
+Kathleen Elmer it's not a bad idea, we will stick up but I'm sure we will be without for some period of time.
Can this glue be used for rhinestone tumblers?
