A "typical" corporate gig? That's debatable. So, here I am debating that. I think there's a difference between your gig (which was a weird hodgepodge of stuff) and a corporate "afterparty" gig. Also, I think a case could be made against that long drum fill @ 3:32. I really don't think you were creating as much hype as you might think you were.
Throwing this out there: I primarily gig in a corporate band. We do these events a lot. We do the after parties a lot as well. Adding a band or DJ to break up the monotony of a conference or award ceremony helps a ton.
