I’m so glad I stumbled across this. So glad I got to see even more behind the scenes footage of two of my favorite movies of all time. Watched it HUNDREDS of times as a child and watching it as an adult and finally understanding all of the jokes makes it even better lol
Omg “the family” is definitely one of the best scenes in both movies! Eddie Murray is an incredible talent!

I love both movies. I just bought actaul 35mm film reels from the production company on eBay. There are several reels includijg the dinner screen and some greenscreen reels of Sherman's dream when he was a giant. The reels are handwritten on and tje box is dated October 19,1995. I feel very fortunate to have purchased these. They are rolls of test film and "pre-production" reels of Sherman in front of a green screen. These rolls of film were on set running through the cameras and I'll be able to hold them and maybe even run a couple on a projector. This is one of my newest film related props. I love these movies!
What did the Fatzilla scene look like on the reel. I wish I could see the behind the scenes of that scene

All the dinner scenes makes me hungry everytime,even though Cletus ruined the moment with his fartin they're also my favorite mainly the 1st dinner scene from the 1st movie cause it was a complete feast on the table, & the transformation scenes

This was AWSOME to watch! More of an educated moment to me, because I want to be able to do this (Play Multiple Characters) in a film one day! So I need to learn everything I can! I’ll be watching this again, again and AGAIN!

Multiple takes
It was done with CGI to have all 5 Klump members at the table at the same time. It took 5 days to shoot that dinner scene. Eddie plays one character one day at a time, then repeats the process around the table with the other characters until the scene is complete.
