The best band ever. Their live performance sounds like studio recording. Love those instruments that they are playing. Its very difficult to live in the world where people don't give a hoot about amazing bands like Blind Pilot.

When I hear any song from And Then Like Lions, I am shot back to when I first listened to it and the months of constant listening that followed. I was going through a really hard time, and I feel like this band really helped me. What a beautiful show.
Many people my age don't listen to anything new because they think there is no good new music. All I can say is Iron and Wine, Grand Archives, Band of Horses, Great Lake Swimmers, Blitzen Trapper, Gillian Welch, Ryan Adams, Dawes, The Sea The Sea, The Decemberists, Wilco, Calexico......... oh, and Blind Pilot. Mr Nebeker you, as they say, rock.
graciousfew I'm just about 60 and feel fortunate to have seen most of the band you mentioned. The Sea The Sea is from my area. Tomorrow night I'm thinking about heading to Burlington VT to see Blind Pilot. The cold is my nemesis.😎
There is so much more to this band than I initially expected. The vibraphone, the trumpet, the double bass, and several other instruments that make the band geek in me really happy.
So talented. An absolute breath of fresh air. I've been posting their incredible music daily on my Facebook posts the past few weeks.Sorry to say that I've only just discovered them. I am a big fan of Alan Gregory iskavov. I found out that they are opening for him on his upcoming tour. Please come to Ontario Canada. You will be adored.
Last night's sold out show in Dallas at The Kessler was incredible. So good that we wanted to hop down to Austin and see them again tonight at Emo's. If they're coming your way, you must see them. We were talking in the crowd about what they'd end the show with, and when they brought out the opening band, Dickie, and did a rendition of Gillian Welch's, "Look at Miss Ohio", you couldn't have asked for a better way to close.
ive been looking all over for u guys. i was wondering what had happened to these legends. i buried a bone was the first song i heard from blind pilot. from then on i always loved this band. awesome
Hi, Blind Pilot, is there any chance of you gracing the SSE Arena, Belfast, you do need to know, that you are "Special". So many thanks, folks, you are helping my living, and I will post your beautiful words and music. So fine, from you to me, Thomas J Devine.
actually is a love song, more specifically a wedding song: web.archive.org/web/20171106015711/laist.com/2009/08/03/meet_israel_nebeker_-_lead_singer_o.php
Love this band but some people can sing in this band and some shouldn't. Just sayin'....seriously ruins the entire performance. If you don't know what I am talking about you need to get your ears cleaned. Flat flat flat. Still love the band though.
i'm crying, Israel's voice is so moving. There's something about this band that always gets me...
Most underrated band ever.

you right bro
Blind Pilot is good, but they are held back by Israels lack of range. He has a nice voice but hes way too limited to be called great
One of the few bands left who make real music! Pure magic. I wish I could see Blind Pilot live someday :')
Ugh I swear ;-;

This is the last band I saw live pre-covid. Such great performers.
and the first band I saw post-Covid last night - still great!
This should have more views. Story is Heard is fabulous with all the instruments
This band saved me...in every way. Truly magical.
I literally cry every time I hear Moon at Dawn.
my heart is beating strong - how beautiful you all are - peace of art, each one of you, indeed
the influence of 70s folk-rock is all over this band...nice to hear the youngsters giving a nod to great music
Just discovered this musical treasure. Vocals are wonderful. Rare to find bands who are vocally brilliant and musically talented too.
oh my holy lord!!! I've been waiting for years for a complete live show from blind pilot. Thank you, KEXP!
Ive never stopped looking into your material ever since I foumd it

One of the best songs of all time. Bravo
I was NOT ready for the music to stop at 43:15. Those vocals were haunting. I wish I can watch you live someday :(
Me too sanskriti, me too....
Bucket list = fly out from the east coast and see these guys/gals live. Doing that after this virus thing goes away. Rock on.
'this virus thing' made me cackle xD +1 to those plans pls
Major kudos when a band sounds better live than on recording like this. Props to sound crew - whoever mixed and engineered this did beautiful work.

This band is like a dream. Takes me to a place far away ❤️
This band is truly so good. Been a fan since 2011

It’s crazy how much better this band is in this concert than their album. This concert must have been so fun to see live.
Just discovered Blind Pilot on CBS Saturday morning and Wow...I am digging there sound immensely!
Excellent mix. Props to the audio engineer! "The Story I Heard" Was really nice to hear those extra harmonies in there too. And the Trumpet!! wow!
My forever favorite band. 🙂
Found your comment! LOL. Duh. Yes. Hope we see them again.
MY HEART HAS THE REASON TO BEAT AGAIN. I JUST LOVE THEM SO MUCH

What the world is missing
i've been spreading the word of these music magicians to other 60's rock friends. Ya gotta keep looking for beauty to distract from the uglyness.
Hello! Can we get captions on this video please?
Oh because the story i heard
when is the next Clatsop show!?
who the hell are these 18 people that didn't like this video?
Woops....my previous post should read Gregory Alan iskavov.

You guys are really good. I didn't like Royal. He smashed my hopes of being an artist.
Voice does not match looks haha
Evangelionlovr you receive the gift of watching and listening to these truly gifted artists and that's your comment? Good grief you don't get it.
