The japanese Barea 😂 #JJTominaga 😜
He’s 172cm but he’s a deadly shooter. Salute to the coach for trusting him
That's crazy how easily he throw it up from deep
Lol coach is like, "Sorry you're too small. Taking you out."
"But I'm the starting point guard."
"Sorry. Rules are rules"
For trusting him?

So much heart, perseverance, and discipline too as demonstrated by the Japanese men's volleyball team and their recent success at the VNL and the Japanese women's soccer team's success at the World Cup!

Yes, Australia, from the continent of Asia. @@WastedBananas
Based on FIBA regional rules, Australia is one of us "Asian." So Technically their Asian in basketball world hehe😂. That's why as an Asian, we have to step up. Good thing we have them on our region. Now we have to adjust every qualifier. Before every Asian team is a cake walk against European and American teams. Now we can see the result. The gap is not that far anymore. Putting Australia and New Zealand on Asian quilifiers pays off. The competition is getting better. Asia is more familiar and getting use to compete against elite nations.

Kawamura has been a star since high school in Japan. Despite his size, his athleticism (speed, footwork, body control, agility) is second to none, and he proved it in this game.
With Baba, Togashi, Tominaga and Hawkinson, this team has good potential. I wish Hachimura was part of the group!

@@Defort-jd8xe I disagree with you here. He is a monster of an athlete. Name a player with the same speed and agility, court vision and shooting skills.
Also, regardless of playing in Japan or else; if you can play, you can play anywhere and against any opponent.
As a Finn I couldn't but smile at the energy and momentum Japan had in the fourth. The kind of thing I've grown to expect from our Susijengi.
I'm happy for Japan and expect Finns to bounce back after gaining some experience and learning from these lessons.
No chance against germany tho. We gonna smash you x

Thanks too.. We are hoping for a more decent performance compared to the last FiBA World Cup 🙏
Just cause you're Asian doesn't mean you have anything to do with Japan. For example, an Iraqi and a Japanese have nothing in common except for being on the same continent.

Beautiful game and beautiful plays!
It wasn't just Yuki Kawamura, but Josh Hawkinson, the naturalized player from US, did his part and so did the "Japanese Steph Curry" in Keisei Tominaga in pulling an upset on Markannen-led Finland team while Yuta Watanabe, the lone NBA player, had an off-night.
I am of a Japanese descent and I have that Japanese bias to root for Japan and hoping that they can get far to prove that anything is possible, especially in proving that Japanese (Asians) can ball and beat the best despite the physical disadvantages they have with height, girth, jumping ability, etc. They could make up for it with a fundamentally executed plays and every player understanding the role.
Though a different roster, Japan pulled a victory on the next opponent in Australia a few years ago, it wouldn't be a shocker if they did it again.
No man as much as it would be nice, you know they stand no chance, not even with Hawkinson (not really Japanese) playing like that and hachimura again very unusual Japanese (I know he’s not present now) watanabe is just a bad player in the best league but can’t make no difference when you play good teams

Good game from Japan! Well deserved! Our (Finland) current problem is that our guards suck. Can't defend or beat their defender on offence. Missing retired Koponen and Rannikko a lot.
Sad but true. We miss the old guard of guards. Offencively our back court could match up against Japan at least for three quarters but defence needs work. This is not all on the guards though. The small Japanese guards got to run circles around our bigger players. They got the switches they wanted and were even able to knock down threes against Markkanen & cos hands.
But in the bigger picture and regarding other teams our back court just isn't there yet. Maybe with time and experience. I hope our young guards take leaps and maybe there are new guys still coming in as well.
日本のことを応援してくれて感謝します。

What a betrayer you are, talking shit about your country....
Some of the Gilas players too are missing their outside shots many times. It's not all Chot's fault
Buti pa nga japan
yeah we shot badly from 3 and clarkson being the main ball handler isn’t his style in Utah. We need plays for JC. I wouldn’t be surprised if JC won’t play for gilas anymore
they were missing their shots because of poor rotation and lack of plays which is ultimately the chot's responsibility. @@mhoadievdelapaz3703
