    I love watching aavak's perspective, his knowledge of games and way of playing is great to follow and he's great at helping people without sounding "superior" for knowing more.
    I only watch 7 days here and every time there's a new series especially with Shelab I run to watch

    Building on Wanderbats "discovery" of half blocks have full hit points you might see if any thin panes can be used on square pilers to force zombies to break through multiple "blocks" to bring down the house. i have seen this tactic in the past but don't know for sure it is still viable. btw, i can't help chuckle every time the punch turret punts something you are lined up to pop in the dome. great episode. I loved every second of it.

    Punch turrets MVP. Also, that horde base remodel REALLY worked!

    You guys have really nice voices! I actually fell asleep listening to this yesterday and had to rewatch because I missed half the video.
    Also love the group dynamic, very supportive and playful, it’s fun to watch! :)

    23:49 By default the left click turns one way while "r" turns the other way.

    It's almost vaudeville when a punch turret punts a zombie. LOL

    An idea for the rest of the crew - charged stun batons with knockback mods. Even if they lack the comedy value of yours, being able to yeet something may come in handy.
    Or hilarious, depending on what/who gets yeeted.

    I really like the base building this episode. It is as if you made a full on bunker.. on stilts.
    Keep up the good work, love the vids :)

    One other explanation for why Wander broke his leg when you didn't might be that perk you have that lets you fall super far without damage as long as you're carrying 5000+ Dukes.

    If you do rotate past the position you want when placing a block, you can go back by simply pressing R.

    I get some people find the fun in this game from creating elaborate over engineered defences and that’s totally valid but if you guys ever do another run of this game it would be interesting to see how you guys handle horde night without a cheese base. I miss the days when you could just find a cool poi and rebuild and fortify it. Definitely a problem with the direction the game when imo but it would be cool to see someone try it the old way and find ways to sort of meet in the middle.

    • @Aavak
      @Aavak  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Zombie mob bonus damage makes that much harder. You can go nomad, and just keep ahead of the swarm while unloading into them, or choose a disposable POI and let them wreck it while you wear them down (hoping that it lasts the night)
      But actually using your base for it would be dire, they'd demolish their way in fairly quickly so the old 'turn your base into a castle' style doesn't gel well anymore :(

      @popinjayishuman 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Aavak Yeah, we usually do the secondary poi thing and let the siege happen, it’s not as fun as when you could really shore up defences but it’s a bit more dramatic knowing everything could crumble around you at any second haha. Anyway, you guys play however you most enjoy obviously, just a suggestion to add some tension into the horde nights from a content perspective.

    Out of curiosity Aavak, could you have a pit that you could knock or kite the demolishers into and use their explosive to kill zombies around them?

    • @Aavak
      @Aavak  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hmm, certainly a possibility!

  • @Arcy190

    Aavak, maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but why didn't you just tell penta to go on the other side, rather than switch what side the robotic sledge is on? also, since I'm already writing a comment, and in case you haven't taken it out while I wasn't looking, there's like, 20 glue in you motorbike

    • @milesmatton5601
      @milesmatton5601 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      He got the 20 glue out of the bike last episode I think.

    • @Aavak
      @Aavak  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I forget how much was already going on, but in short: doing more work myself seemed like less effort than asking Penta to add an extra step to what he was doing when he was already not enjoying it. I didn't have time to build his enclosure while fortifying the middle one, but I could certainly help by moving the turret :)

  • @gerritvalkering1068

    Can you place a robotic gun turret so it can only fire up? To protect against the vultures

    • @Aavak
      @Aavak  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Certainly a possibility!
