It's crazy, going through the original FFVII, to find that Cloud was trying to be the hero he promised Tifa he'd become, but it seems like Tifa was Cloud's hero all along. It's quite nice. She was the crutch he leaned on to keep him strong. She may be a mere video game character to some, but she's definitely a figure who shows that we men need saving by our lady sometimes, even if we try to act all "macho" 😅
