Raghav ji I'm the 1st person brought on your 2nd time sale you started. My life changed this sony nw zx707 dap. Superb amazing dap. Any IEMs can drive so smoothie. Excellent DAP.
To be clear, I am a Sony fan. However at 70k, 707 seems like a raw deal. It is extremely under-powered at 230 mW + 230 mW balanced. I also saw in one of the other reviews that 707 released in some countries such as US, SG, etc. doesn't even have a high gain option, thankfully in India they have released a relatively powerful version with high gain available! Having said that, there are much better options at similar price range. For eg. Shanling M6 Ultra which is priced at 75k has quad-AKM DAC chips and peak power output of 720mW (Balanced). Only thing which Sony has is Android 12 vs Android 10 on M6 Ultra. However, this is not a phone so the obvious preference is sound and power. I also don't buy the argument in this video as to 'Why do you need more power on the go?'. If someone is spending 70k and has other better options on the same website itself, then why not? Button volume rockers is an outdated way of doing things when every other DAP, even cheaper one has a tactile volume knob. No hate to HPZ, I think Raghav and his team has played a huge role in expanding audiophile community in India and I appreciate them for it. However, I also think a candid feedback to any manufacturer is important than spinning weaknesses as strengths.
gg9, I am with you. I feel like some of the expression sounds like Sony is doing a favour by bringing their products to India on a timely manner. That's clearly not the case anymore or even in the past decade. As a matter of fact, Sony is not doing it in their TV segment and there is at least a delay 6-9 months post the global availability. I too watched the review mentioning US, SG countries getting lower o/p device. I wonder what could be the reason behind multiple o/p models for a walkman. I recall there were Home Theatre Speaker packages in the past [15/20 years before] where the impedance would be on the higher side for US compared to EU. But those days are gone, I suppose. Again, HPZ is doing great and I wish more neutral feedback should be passed onto any brand irrespective of the brand's stature.
@@shikharchauhan2322 I love the Sony sound signature Warm yet detailed, very intimate vocals Non fatiguing and rich bass It’s my top favourite dap Though I own a hiby r6 pro2 I keep listening to this mostly
Will HpZ bring the hiby R6 pro II to India? I think thall be a great alternative to this considering the dual flagship akm dac and class A or A/B amplifier for USD 750
Tough one, the ZX707 is a more elegant easy to use device from a premium brand like Sony. It sounds good, but the M11+ ESS is a better sounding device, with a lot more powerful output.
Hey there, the Sony - NW-ZX707 is compatible with both Sony - WF-1000XM5 and Sony - WH-1000XM5, but to get the best sound output we recommend using a wired setup.
I think fans of Mr Raghav would watch the video. I would just like to watch the review of the product and not a history and extremely slow narrative. Simple suggestion would be to add chapters. I do respect Mr Raghav for what he is and headphonezone, but not a fan of listening to him.
@@RaghavSomani-HeadphoneZone exactly. Thats why I was not able to watch the video, because i came in for a review of the product. Thanks for taking time to reply though ...
Both the mentioned DAPs are great for what they offer. If you like warm sound then the Shanling M6 Ultra is the way to go and if you like balanced sound then Sony NW-ZX707 is your best bet.

We should get it once the product is released in India hopefully in the coming weeks.

Hey , Raghav I used CCA CRA as my first IEM but now I want to buy new IEM as beginner audiophile . Near about 5-6k what should I have ? Please tell.
Hey, if you want something similar to the CCA CRA, then we'd suggest you go for the QKZ x HBB - Khan
does tidal come preinstalled? or needs to be downloaded through play store?
You can download Tidal from the Play Store.
@@headphone_zone Thanks.
I have ordered this sony walkman nw zx 707.i now need to buy a headphone for this.which would you suggest.price does not matter.
Are you looking for headphones or are you open for an IEM recommendation?
What should i use in this walkman

i need wired earphone mostly comfort (main for long sessions) and bass under 2k ? can you guys suggest me with this requirement.
On the basis of your requirement, we would say go for something like the TANGZU - Wan'er S.G

The major one would be the battery life imho.
