Hey, Steve, I have run a GM product that put out 6,000 horsepower. And handles like it's on rails! (But it weights 210 tons). Yeah, a locomotive. That said, it had a cool level of technology, especially the wheel slip/traction control, to get all that horsepower to the rail. Also, we had an old guy in our area that did build a number of car for himself. They were pretty funky looking, like the roadster he built using a straight 8 Buick motor on a hand built chassis and body. His biggest challenge was getting them titled and registered but he said he found an office of our DMV that was more lenient. They were all one-offs and he passed a number of years ago.
Watched the live after the fact. Work was busy here in the Benton Harbor/St. Joseph area. The PGA Senior Championship is at Harbor Shore this weekend. No time to relax this weekend.
Steve, funny the subject of weight & money came up. 20 uears ago I drove for a company that transported currency as a separate business from what I transported (refrigerated). I was asked to be the co-driver for two weeks. We operated fully armored cabs & sleepers. Yes, the drivers are armed 24/7. The truck didn't stop except for fuel & driver changes. There was a "panic" button. I can tell you that $50m of state quarters weigh about 45k. $70m of paper money weighs about the same 45k.
Okay, not seeing the batmobile and racecars in the background messed my brain up... I didn't realize how your background was my barometer of stability...😮
Steve's showing his age on the panda. Back when I took high school biology, both giant and lesser (red) pandas, were classified as procyonids. Same family that includes raccoons. But these classifications have been dramatically rearranged, in recent years. Primarily due to DNA analysis. Giant panda DNA actually shows that they are real bears ! And the red panda, is now in its own family (Ailuridae). The TH-cam channel Clint's Reptiles is a great channel, when it involves animal classification.
If the F.C.C. is in charge of regulating communications, how is A.I. even allowed traction??? Wouldn't the F.C.C be ultimately A.I. itself??? ...this thing's a worm~
Did u know good old doc schaub in eau Claire? You’d line up outside his garage on a Saturday morning To see him for your cats and dogs. During the week he was a farm vet. He could be a narly fellow but he knew his stuff. Cash only and wads of it. Interesting memories
Missed the live today. I certainly don't eat Spam often but I will say that the spam bacon flavor slaps for breakfast. Edit: I had a baby possum in a house I used to live in... We had a drawer that was broken and we simply didn't use it. For whatever reason one day my mom opened it and screamed bloody murder. I go over and open the drawer and there was a small juvenile possum looking up at me with squinted eyes like "what's all the hubbub, turn out the lights" I ended up putting it in a dog cage thing and took it down the road and put it in the woods. It walked out of the cage about 12 ft and then turned around and looked at me like "do I have to?" 😂
Thanks, Steve! From Springfield, Oregon!
Thanks for doing live! I really enjoy it!

You talk like a lawyer!! Hehe
Don't know why it won't let me send chat.
Omg! Al those videos I thought that behind you was your actual home office but it's just a studio prop. I am so shattered.😅😢😂
Steve has to talk about bad things on his channel otherwise he wouldn’t get many views. Newsworthy stories are generally bad in some way.
