Detailed DepEd Resignation Process 2022
Question: When is the best time to RESIGN if you are under Deped?
Once you have the DS2019, you can start the resignation process.
Make sure you plan your steps carefully so you will be able to come to the US and work in your school district on time.
Deped Resignation Process 2022:
1. These documents will be submitted to the CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION:
(4 Copies)
🔸Resignation Letter
🔸SALN (date na nakalagay ay day before resignation)
🔸Division Clearance
🔸School clearance
🔸Service record
2. Additional Requirements for J1 Teachers:
🔺 indorsement from SDS
🔺division and school clearance
🔺certificate of last payment
🔺latest pay slip
🔺cert. of no admin pending case (legal unit-RO)
3. If with existing liabilities/obligations to PLIs/GFIs (Loans):
🔹special power of attorney (both signed by the teacher and attorney-in-fact)
🔹notarized undertaking of unpaid loans indicating that the attorney-in-fact will pay the existing obligations during the teacher’s travel, enumerating the concerned PLIs/GFIs (both signed by the teacher and attorney-in-fact)
4. Separation Benefits Requirements
✔️ Letter of intent to retire (3 copies)
✔️ Declaration of pendency (3)
✔️ Filled up GSIS Application form (5)
✔️ Updated Service Record (7)
✔️ Division Clearance (3)
✔️ School District Clearance(3)
✔️ SALN as if the last day of service (4)
✔️ Latest Appointment (1)
✔️ Latest Pay Slip (1)
✔️ Certificate of Last Payment
Take note of the following:
a. You have to make sure all these requirements are completed then you can hand carry them to the Regional Office.
The region will be the one to forward it to the CENTRAL OFFICE.
Once central office receive these documents, they will send an email to the teacher. This email will be needed for CFO requirements in order to get the CFO sticker as the last requirement before you can travel to the USA.
