    There should be a short pause before listening to scan the questions. Wrong.

      Thanks for your comment and insight. As I wrote to you on Facebook, we did consider what you suggest, but we chose not to do that for several reasons. While giving some time to scan is the format used in some tests, others do not give any extra time to scan the questions. Furthermore, the times vary from test to test, and listening to listening. Also, viewers can simply pause the video and take as much time as they need. For those reasons, we opted not to leave any blank space before the listening and instead left 8-second pauses between each question. We may follow your suggestion the next time we do a listening test tutorial.
