When you missed the 1ups/Wumpa Fruit in Crash and didn't stop to get the potion from the incapacitated soldiers in FF7... my OCD was KILLING ME 😂🤣 Love the vids as always! Thanks for all that you and the crew do. Much appreciated!
I was waiting to order one of these but this video pushed me over the edge. Especially with a 10% discount on Castlemania! As soon as I get it I'll be watching videos on the set up! Thanks for all the awesome videos!
The second time you tried to pronounce _Ehrgeiz_ right was pretty good actually, so there you go 😃 Thanks for sharing this too! I'll try to get hands on the GPi case myself but I'll have to use a European/German store instead because of customs and stuff. Either way, I am amazed they managed to pull off PS1 emulation of the Zero. I mean imagine all the projects we could do now also outside of the GPi!
Really looking forward to this case being directly available from the UK. Price from Castlemania with the discount would be great, but once our UK Customs have added taxes and an exorbitant charge for opening the parcel, it would nearly double it, so I am having to be patient and wait until it is available through Amazon UK or Ebay UK.
Does this image adjust setting to run the playstation games so smoothly? I've tried ps games on a standard install of retropi on a pi 0 W and its very slow. Also is there a particular name for the image itself, I've looked at the facebook group and can't seem to find it? Thank you!
I'm a bit late to reply, but what you need to do is open retropie setup, go to optional packages and install pcsx-rearmed from binary. NOT lr-pcsx-rearmed, that's the default slow one. Then press A to configure while launching a game and adjust to use the NON LR emulator. For the GPi controls to work you need to install SinisterSpatula's Advanced Controller Framework. Google it, there's an easy guide on his website.
@@Avm371998 the 4 draws over 15w compared to the Zero's 6w. It draws more power than the 9v fast charger for my Note 9. If 3 AAs @2400mAh give you around 3hrs with the Zero, and given that Rechargeable packs are 3.7v requiring a boost to 5v for the Pi, you're gonna need at least a 8000mAh battery to get 2hrs of runtime with a Pi4. It will drain the battery faster than you can charge with a fast charger.
I am super into this case, but I was just hoping we get a new zero to put in it mainly for PS1 emulation... this makes me hopeful. Do I pull the trigger?

blueberryskygang ah no worries, I’ll check it out anyways to see how it performs. Thankfully MGS doesn’t require the analogues, and you can live without L1 and R1 if you can map L2 and R2 instead on the triggers.
Battery question on the GPi case. So I have these rechargeable Duracell 1.2v/2500 mAh and they just aren’t working even at fully charged. When I put in brand new disposable batteries at 1.5v it works great until they die. How certain are you the eneloop battery link to amazon will work? Because those are rated for 1.2v as well.
I am a little Sad, just recently got the bittboy v3, then the pocket go was released straight away. I purchased the go but still feel the screen is too small. This post has given me hope once more - Thx MLP
I don't know why, but Dragons Lair II on the GPi looks awesome to play. I guess if we don't use Facebook we can't get that image anywhere else (I could not tell anywhere).
I don't understand how Pre-Orders can sell out. Maybe I'm missing some vital part of Supply and Demand, but couldn't they take every single pre-order possible for a given timeframe, then produce units in a volume equal to the amount of pre-orders + a percentage over the pre-order amounts for replacement of defective units? Then immediately do another run to fill demand?
I bought a Pi Boy 3A+ so I would not need this but If they ever make a Pi 4 version I would consider the upgrade and if they changed it to use a rechargeable battery say 6000 mah and a few other changes like adding analog stick and 2 more buttons then it would be perfect as is it's cool for the price but just not powerful enough to warrant a purchase from me I already have way to many handhelds that can exceed the power of the Pi Zero but cool video :)
Yeah, I like the GPi case but really can only reccomend it if all you want is the basics for the most part... I have to disagree... I think the Pocket go looks amazing and run better then most. Yes the PlayStation emulator isn't going to run great but I think it did ok! For $40 - $50 the Pocket Go performs at it's price point... It does pretty good at 8bit and 16bit games which is all I want it for.

I want this but the double A batteries throws me off. Hope there's a new upgrade for this. Or a new model after this. I think this is there learning curve. It's almost there. But I would just use this for Gameboy and Gameboy color alone and Sega Genesis.
i have 2 questions How? do you get game box covers ect downloaded to the unit wifi without a keyboard ... and how do you get the playstation controls to work the psx emulator doesn't recognize it
