When i was growing up my best friend and i joined the SEA EXPORER'S (boy scouts with boats) Newport Beach, Ca.........had the blast of a lifetime, sailed to Catalina couple of times, at age 15.........our skipper was a lifelong seaman and knew the boat and the ocean..........miss that very much, especially when i watch your videos.............open sea living appeals to me, even today at age 70...............God bless and stay safe............

Such stunning scenery. I enjoy this a lot. Reminds me of my trips where I take the good music like the Guns N Roses, Imagine Draongs or the Delta Parole and then enjoy the powerful feeling of the sea. ¡vamos!
Guys! Those sweet potatoes will work just like the familiar ones! I love em. They're a bit more "dry" if that's a correct description but sure sure enough any technique you employ for standard yams will work here as well. I suggest: S&P, smoked paprika, a tiny bit honey or even better would be a smidgen of cane syrup mixed with half as much vinegar, best olive oil and toss all together and roast hot oven for the win. I'm pretty sure no gluten also. Combine with blanched green veggies and put any well-seasoned roasted fish on top. Don't waste em, friends. Keep up the great work and I'd love to see more of your cooking.

I sail a Nacra 5.2 or Lazer ect. Considering selling the house and joining the sailing life. I always am going for more speed. Why do all sailing life sailors sail with so little sail up and go so slow? I would have had the main and mizzen up in addition to the Genoa down wind. Maybe make 10 knots?

Here's a safety tip. I know ropes are hard on hands but never wear gloves around rotating winches, blocks, guides etc. You can get your hands pulled in! Stay safe guys.

(1) The Maritime Mobile HF frequency is 14.300 and they monitor for calls of distress or other needed communications. You can also talk long-distance (DX) to other worldwide stations and have a lot of fun filling the logbook with the various callsigns, locations, and people you've talked with. There is a world of adventure awaiting you in Amateur Radio.
I just watched a video with Taylor saying goodbye to SV Delos. How many boats is she on? She must have a helicopter to fly back and forth between Doodles, Delos, and her boat. Maybe there are more. Haven’t watched those channels.

Those were not sweet potatoes as people know them but they are white sweet potatoes and they are quite good. You either boil them or bake them and yo can put a little olive oil on them.
Thas correct. They are very common in the Caribbean and you can make them as you want them like a regular potato. They are less sweet than the orange color sweet potato. We call both sweet potato 🍠 “batata” (either yellow or orange, to differentiate them)
