I've only recently discovered this brilliant series. I'm here in the UK still deep in lock down, so a series like yours, which depicts a life style one can only dream about. Your videos show places that live only in my imagination. They are a perfect escape from the humdrum existence of during this pandemic. +Jack Moody tides in the Virgin Islands are pretty small. Never more than a foot or so... I don think it makes a difference for the baths. It can get crowded there though

I have been living this life for over 9 years now....family has distanced themselves from me and old friends grew old...I have had the greatest adventures I could imagine and few regrets.
Apparently the video is better as at the end of video Bob suggest Megan needed a swim for the same reason as Maverick ;) Not sure if it is the SPAM diet or lack of fresh water :P Either way Green is a great colour (or color for the American's) for me lol.I would love to be doing what Bob does but no boat and no great looking sidekick... or is Bob the sidekick? anyway good on him and Megan for getting out and showing the cruising world and are having fun doing it (well maybe over Georgie reading between the lines).
I absolutely agree with the many comments below. This is one of your very best videos and they are so entertaining to watch. The chemistry between you and Megan really comes through on these videos for being just " good friends". You two make an amazing couple. I hope you two have many wonderful years together.
I agree, Yuneec sucks. I bought a $1400 drone from them, the camera was (is) horrible, the white balance constantly shifts colors leaving most video from it unusable without many hours of post production repairing. Most my emails to Yuneec were unanswered. When they did replay they refused to repair or replace the camera and just told me I would need to buy a new one ($500+ for the camera.) So I bought a DJI. If you do get a DJI, when flying over water turn off the bottom object avoidance. It tends to freak out over water and wants to land the drone.
There is a technique for boarding an inflatable...you hold on to the dinghy with both hands while facing AWAY from the dinghy, then draw your knees up and duck your head under then flip your legs into the boat and then pull your head out of the water. There is a video somewhere of a woman doing it.

It says a lot about a man when he puts forth the effort to bring his dogs with, instead of dumping them off with a friend or family member, or even worse, the pound... Megan, if you’re not in on the money, I feel sorry for you. Yes, you’re pretty but your personality is your true beauty. Attention is nice but as you age, the money is what matters because it takes the edge off of life.
Absolute respect for your bounce back from something that has happened to me too: I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 2004 and lost my flying career having made it as far as Command Pilot / Boeing 772ERs. Lost everything literally but like you sought a challenge I would one day be proud of. A way of flying in the face of adversity and being able to say 'I did this' ... 'My Way!' Great to see you having this much fun and sharing it with us. Though I was sorry to learn about the drone in this episode! Hell YEAH I'm no sailor but I am going to subscribe because of what we have in common. Inspiration towards me continuing to run my own Ground School outfit where I am able to help others achieve their goals and aspirations in aviation :o)

By far this is one of my favorite episodes you have produced!!!! It is the combination and mix ( water and drone shots, the fun laughter you to share that is infectious , the sense of adventure with you guys hiking on land was awesome , the pups shots of plenty, and a little more length to the video ) of things that you had in this episode that kept me entertained and intrigued and wanting to watch more once it was done, and that's a sign of a great video. After seeing how your moring line was attached just by the loop, not sure why you did not just slip it off the cleat and let it go over the side rather than cut it to accompluish the same. Obviously, there was more to it that what we all could see. Happy you guys were OK ! B.R.A.V.O. for the gentleman act of gifts for the error. Definately nice people. Take care you two! :-)
+Richard Chasse yeah we did slip the other side off the cleat but it was void up so tight, pinched by the rudder that it would not slip through. After watching the video I think I may have been able to clear the lines but when you're just trying to get unstuck before more rubbing an damage happens... thanks Richard!

Interesting videos but frequently show a lack of knowledge. If you learn a few knots you'll be able to attach another line to your mooring line, run it to a winch, and take off the load.
Sailing Doodles lost me when Megan left the show....saw flying doodles last night....no Megan still......wondered if sailing doodles was still active and watched on or two episodes of series 3 and the searched for an old episode. Only then did I realise Megan was the key.....she was a real honest and beautiful person...and a real yacht, that made me watch the channel.
It was great to see that your training had you working the problem and not bitching and complaining about the situation. You've made cruising bodies for life.

this is why you never use those pre-made loops on the boat, always tie at your end, so you have control. keep at it, videos are great!
