Thanks 🙏 Atty….I’m just surprise that since I opened my case with my lawyer (January 2021) I never met her in person….I’m just being turn on my case coordinator everytime I’ve questions about my case….so I’ve decided to request for a formal meeting with her …still waiting…thanks
Thank you for the comment Nelson! The meeting sounds like a good idea. What you're describing is common for big "work comp mills". Intake with just an intake worker non lawyer use to be common until they changed the rules. Now an attorney is suppose to meet with you in person or via telephone to explain the attorney fees at least. In those mills, commonly people would only see an attorney for the first time (sometimes only time) at a deposition. Even hearings were always done with hearing reps not attorneys. I'm glad they are finally giving you a meeting :-) Naomi

This is utterly heart wrenching..Especially trying to find one after you find out they didn't care to help..they told him 5 months...The toll its taken on my Father is taking a toll on me. He hired an Attorney 2 years ago and paid $20k for 2 subpoenas and a petition of Trust. Instead, and after the agreement she said she couldn't do these things unless she filed a lawsuit. Now almost 2 years later, the other side stated no evidence..My father almost had a nervous breakdown. He asked her why shed do this. Finding out she NEVER did the subpoenas and she never petitioned the Trust. My Father showed in court devestated and stressed with his bag of evidence.. The judge asked why he was there. After that she sent him a file with a note to be dismissed. Now he is worried about turning in evidence struggling, supporting my grandma, working physical labor...and he doesnt know what to do. It is horrible. It is breaking my heart. Finding an attorney is so difficult. Watching him fight for justice for Grandma while hes being harrased and threatened...there are no words..I wish this world was for justice..Not full of people who lie..they have no comprehension of the duress they further cause an individual.. Ive tried to help I've tried to find an Attorney..I dont know how to help him. Hes raised 8 of us as a single father and he has worked so hard and contines to. I would give anything to have it turned around. But what do you do when the attorney wont respond while you cant find an Attorney to take over..while you have to submit evidence and its too overwhelming..what do you do..

I had a lawyer that over promised, lied even after trying to understand the stituation the lawyer was keeping things from me untill I kept asking to get things cleear. If you need a criminal defense lawyer, be very careful of ex-prosecutors. They have formed personal relationships with cops and other prosecutors and may be wary of crossing them over certain cases. If they say they are good defense lawyers because they know the shady backroom stuff, that is a sign they be making implicit assurances for you which are utter BS.
