The film sequels omitting Biosyn for so long was such a huge blunder in my mind. They should've come back in Jurassic Park III at least. In fact, imagine if Jurassic World had focused on a fully functioning theme park built and owned by Biosyn.

Biosyn makes perfect sense because if I remember right, Dogdson said something to Nedry about the embryos being able to survive in the can for 48 hours. It’s not something they could wait on. Plus, Nedry said “that’s up to your guy on the boat” to Dogdson, implying he wasn’t the only one on Isla Nublar working for Biosyn.
Definitely leads into the concept of chaos theory. No matter what would've happened, Jurassic Park was doomed and something behind the scenes would've taken place

I think Nedry trying to carve his own path off the island but failing and dying alone really intensified the horror aspect and helped emphasize the slimness of the protagonists' chances of surviving. But I agree the ramifications should have been explored in later installments.
One thing that's bugged me for 30 years and continued with the opening sequence for fallen kingdom was that Biosyn could afford to pay Nedry several million but did not have a back up plan. Not even put a tracker in the barbisol canister so a mercenary team could just drop down from a helicopter to the waterfall
GPS has been around since like, the 70s I think? Maybe could’ve been done. The difficulty would be if such a thing would drastically impact the size of the canister. Though this could’ve been potentially resolved with a second camouflaged device Nedry could have attached to the can after heading off in his truck. The issue is that, once activated, the can had an extremely limited operational time. By the time Biosyn realized Nedry’s mission had failed (and they’d have had to have been following his progress to even know in the first place), the chopper would need to fly out there. That takes time they may not have had. That’s not even mentioning needing to have a chopper _and_ a team ready to go at the drop of a hat. I think the whole idea is just not feasible for getting the can back _before_ it ran out of its fuel.
It could still be worth going for the can; even if the embryos are dead by the time they get there they're still made of valuable, unique and potentially very useful genetic material.
@@MisterPuck I get what you mean about trackers as my mind just completely misconstrued time frames, In todays terms you'd have something as small as an apple tracker but for early 90s it would probably be the size of a floppy disc. It just seems quite absurd that a company the size of Biosyn would not have a back up plan of any sort. Just hinge the whole multi million dollar plan on a computer guy with no espionage or military training and hope he pulls it off in a tropical storm.
I’ve always wondered how many other staff were affected by the power failure on Nublar. That line Ellie says to Hammond about “people out there are dying” always made me think that loads of workers were being attacked and killed
She easily may have meant only Gennaro and Nedry. Gennaro she had found, and Nedry had wandered off and could reasonably be supposed to have fallen prey to a dinosaur.

Point in case, in the movie it's stated they had 8 raptors when the big one took over and killed all the others but 2 leaving them with 3 total. In the books they 8 raptors with none being killed off but rather secretly breeding resulting in many more raptors.
You literally can't be trapped in one of those unless it's sabotaged. There's a big flat plastic button on the inside that will open it even with the pin inserted. You can even see it in the film. If the raptors figured out the other doors I'm sure it would that one. Let alone just repeatedly ramming it as it did in the book.

I still think one of the best ways to reboot the Jurassic Park series is just to follow along the novel more closely, they are absolutely masterpieces and would be so nice to see adapted to the big screen, especially the second book.
Do you think Heterodontosaurus would be a good replacement for the locusts in Jurassic World: Dominion? In large enough numbers, maybe they could eat crops enough to cause problems and they might be feisty with their fangs so it is unwise to try to chase them off. Probably not too far fetched to think that Biosyn could engineer them to only eat crops that are not theirs. Or the maybe DX disease from The Lost World novel could also be a good alternative.
I have a feeling DX may have even been the original idea before the pandemic. But yeah that totally should’ve been the concept. Or at the very least the herbivores being responsible for destroying large amounts of crops like they do at the end of the novel in order to get lysine.
It sucks that they decided to have locus be the main focus of the movie instead of the dinosaurs. Don’t get me wrong seeing prehistoric bugs in these movies are cool, but they can’t be the main plot I mean come on.
@@KlaytonFioriti Oh, that is a good read and a good thought. It would also help explain why things seemed so... disjointed in Dominion. If they were originally going for that angle, they would certainly have a tight time table to rework and avoid an obviously sensitive topic of the time.
In my head the easiest way to add BioSyn back into the franchise would be to do a movie before JP3 that explains the Spinosaurus and the dinos not on InGEN'S list were all BioSyn projects.
Hopefully, we do eventually get to see bioson in this game. and I especially hope this game explains how The Barbasol can got in the middle of that jungle because you can obviously tell that place in the jungle is not the same place where Dennis got killed
I always felt that Biosyn really did Nedry bad. They only offered him $50k for each viable embryo, or 1.5 million in total (added to the $750k Dodgson paid Nedry in the beginning).
The game better satisfyingly show how maya joshi got left behind a whole day after the movie ends and somehow a headcount wasnt conducted. That freezer raptor gets locked in there the day the movie cast choppers out and the movie ended with clear skies. But the trailer makes it seem as if her story is in parallel with the movie (specifically the storm that hit) and that would make the freezer raptor anachronistic. They can solve it by saying it got stormy again but something tells me that's gonna be a very big plothole that goes unnoticed.
Not really. You are in a tropical location with lush rainforests. There is always rain. However, if you want to use the storm from the movie, it was only a tropical storm and would be easy to use. Here is how you write it: As the storm was approaching from the northeast the island on June 11th, most people were evacuated and the boat left the harbor as the first outer bands hit the island. The storm either makes landfall and hits the island directly or comes very close to the island on the first and , and immediately starts weakening because it is only a tropical storm and because of the geography of the island (namely the dormant volcano that the storm would immediately encounter). This also helps explain why there are breaks in the weather after the T. Rex attack on the jeeps. The now weakened storm could could easily be pushed to the southeast by prevailing winds some time from initial landfall on the 11th and the early hours of June 12th. However, because it would have been pushed back into warm water, it could have strengthened back up enough to be a tropical depression or tropical storm, and start moving northwest and hit the island again on the evening of June 12th from the opposite direction as before. It would also likely dissipate over the island as the volcano is still an obstacle. The main cast would have left during this recharge time on the 12th traveling in a northeastern direction back to main land. The helicopter would have experienced wind, but it would have been manageable. If our protagonist was part of the skeleton crew, she would be expected to stay through the evacuation on the 11th. She likely did seek shelter in one of the "safe" places and she (and all the other skeleton crew left behind) are likely unaware of the catastrophic failure of the park until much later in the day on the 12th. So, now she and any others are trying to find an alternative way off the island or ways to contact the main land for help. There are dinosaurs that are loose and likely eating people, and the storm is hitting the island again. So, her story starts on June 12th and goes through June 13th. Now, if you are questioning the behavior of tropical cyclones, look up Tropical Storm Fay from 2008. She was a crazy old girl. You can really just look up any of the abnormal tropical cyclones and see just how crazy they can be in their movements. The point of all this is to say that explaining the raining and storming in the trailer is not as hard to explain as you think.
@@CSKaras i actually just rewatched the announcement trailer and picked up on evidence that the trailer takes place after the movie as the visitor center fossils lie in ruin and the kitchen has scattered utensils, so thankfully no timeline errors... yet. But now the burden will lie on the devs to write a good reason for having her miss evac. There already were very few people on the island that werent hammond, arnold, or nedry, but they were able to evac them all out before the storm was close enough leaving only the main movie cast. Maya, and anyone else that will appear in the game will need a good resson to be on the island. Waiting it out only covers the storm, we will need a good reason why she decided to stay or was held back even after everyone around her was packing up to leave, and why no one noticed she wasnt on the evac out before. Thanks for giving me a reason to rewatch it and catch everything I missed, though.
Ha, I was just talking about this recently on a message board. I firmly believe BioSyn will show up in JP Survival. There's no way Dodgson didn't have a backup plan in the event Nedry was not able to complete the mission. And as you said, they're not going to want any witnesses to their actions.

The thing that I've always said to people who question why people would keep trying to make a Jurassic park is that rich people are not gonna walk away from a money making opportunity over a few deaths. Not to mention the amount they already spent. That applies to Biosyn aswell. They were ready to pay millions out to Nedry, that barbasol cans R&D let alone producing it likely cost a pretty penny not to mention all the intel gathering. I seriously doubt Biosyn were willing to just walk away from that sunk cost over one assets death. So this idea really makes sense and hopefully is used.
I love Telltales Jurassic Park so much that I wish for it to stay Soft Canon. If Survival will have also a BioSyn Team to recover the barbasol can then this stays in direct conflict to Telltales Jurassic Park. So I hope they come up with something new Edit: I just remembered that Telltales Jurassic Park was allready retconned in later season of camp cretatious. So sad, I really liked the ending of the barbasol can Storyarc in Telltales Game while in Camp Cretatious it was just a one scene nostalgia bait
I really hope that Biosyn make a comeback in this game as a real threat then in dominion. One thing I have always wanted was a Jurassic Park story set after the 1993 movie to explain what happened after the fall of Jurassic Park and it looks like this game is going to do just that. so to build on this. to keep all of it cannon is that biosyn is able retrieve the can but cant get it off the island, maybe due to Mya. but She also drops it due to a dino so Dodson can trip over it in CC. but Definitely having a human threat on top of the maybe 5 carnivorous dinos in the game would better.
In the Lost World deleted scene where Peter Ludlow reads off the debts. Only three Ingen workers were confirmed dead so I don’t think there will be Maya or other Ingen workers who cannonicly die.
@Jurassiccanonking I see it as a "maybe this happened" scene. Kinda like the deleted scenes for aliens and alien. Ripley finding Burke impregnated or finding Dallas being turned into a human egg thing. Those scenes don't technically count as canon either. I always loved the idea that may e muldoon survived the raptor attack. Remember the rule of a movie, unless you see their lifeless body that character can still comeback.
@@eh2396 In the “obviously” non canon Lego game, Muldoon, Nedry, and Genero all survived until at least 2015. Also Jurassic thankfully hasn’t really done much in the way of cheap fake out deaths (until CC and CT) but yeah, I like to think this scene happened just because it makes sense so it’s in my headcanon and I think would officially go under the label of soft canon.
If they do put BioSyn in the game, I'd like for them to try and fool the MC by trying to explain some lie or vague excuse as to why there are "workers" left on the island. At least until the MC finds out and then it's full mask-off with BioSyn mercs trying to kill the MC and anyone that isn't part of them. It'd be far better than them just trying to kill the player on sight for no explainable reason (in-game lore I mean, since no-one seems to know who the fuck BioSyn is)
i consider tell tale jurassic park cannon to the lore. A. Cause we see the water dinos, B. The sceintist more or less released the liscen into the water supply. Of the rivers etc. Them eatting it from some plant doesnt make since, not to mention the gene was probably not passed on with the future eggs.
Hey Klayton! Dino Crisis had a six-part comic series. A loose adaptation of the first Dino Crisis game, I would highly recommend it & it would be awesome if you can go through it here on the channel like you did with all Jurassic comics a couple of years back.
...I know this is wishful thinking, but when you mentioned survivors on the island, I immediately thought about Robert Muldune(sp). I mean, in the book, he did not die. There was even a comic where we learned that he had survived. I would LOVE for the main character to come across him, help him recover from his injuries, he helps her survive, and they BOTH get off the island! ...again, shot in the dark, but a girl can dream, right? 😊❤

Anyways I am looking forward to JP:Survival but i am optimistic. For too long we have gotten park simulators which is fine, but I miss shooting dinos, survival horror with dinos. I do hope this delivers that, if not well CAPCOM GET US THAT DINO CRISIS REMAKE!.
I hate that they didn’t give any more information about byosin after Jurassic Park. We never got any info about the state of Sorna, only posters about “ Forbidden the trespassing “. They left so many questions and holes that could’ve saved the franchise from its current status. We never got any backstory from the “ Amalgam Testing on screen nor how did Wu planned all of it.
The audible sigh I let out when they had Dodgson get the can in CC. That infuriated me to no end. They had a really great stand-alone film idea with thay can! Then again, it will always be the sequel we'll never get.

presently, my own headcanon on Biosyn in the movies is that it was actually a very recent company, possibly emerging sometime after Jurassic World opened, and the company Dodgson represented in the first movie was a different one that folded up because Nedry never delivered on his end of the deal
I wonder if they are gonna show dinosaurs that were on old park's brochure and embryotic species that Nedry stole. Canonically only new dinosaurs that we didn't saw in the first movie were herrerasaurus and compsognathus so it's not that many.
i think one of the most satisfying things about this is how out of all things, the thing that's stayed the most narratively consistent about the films is people not knowing the original JP Disaster was a direct result of a Biosynth instigated sabotage, because it makes sense, Nedry and Dogdson were the only ones that knew, and Nedry died not telling anyone and Dogdson would obviousl not implicate himself, and from how the old visitor centre looks in JW it's obvious InGen did not bother to salvage and possibly investigate what caused the old facilities to fail. we as the audicence know, but there is not resonable way people in-universe could know without Dogdson fessing up or unless Nedry wrote something incrimating on something that had a backup online.
Dodgson should have been akin to Albert Wesker (Resident Evil, minus the superpowers) A reoccurring villain for Jurassic Park would a Breathe of fresh air. Also: Eddie deserves a monument for his sacrifice
I didn't even know this game existed, or at least not much if I did. I just rewatched the first three movies this past week. It may be morbid, but I'm always a sucker for dinosaurs eating people. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by your outro.
Them not utilizing Biosyn properly after the first movie is almost as bad as not making a JP video game where you ARE the dinosaur since Lost World (except for the Lego game but even that's limited).
Honestly if Dodgeson could end up being the main human antagonist similar to his role in the lost world novel that would be amazing. Maybe adapting the scene where he throws Sarah off the boat to him throwing Maya off a raft in the river on isla nublar? Honestly I think the idea of having Maya not even able to trust other people on the island would make for a very interesting game. More stealth-based levels where she has to say, get past some workers trying to take InGen property (since they would kill her probably if they found her) or stuff like making a noise by the workers to alert a dinosaur to get them would make for clever level design.
To me it makes sense that there would be other people like Maya on Nublar. When hurricanes hit, people don't always leave the area. Plus their would have likely been some crisis control staff that stayed behind as well as people who just lived on the island instead of traveling back and forth. So it would make sense for there to be other workers that got caught in the aftermath
So I actually really want to see the Spinosaurus return. I think it’s time it made a comeback. But also I’d like to see some cool herbivores too. Especially something we haven’t seen before. I know it’s unlikely but Plateosaurus is one I’ve always wanted to see.
It would be interesting and if in Jurassic Park survival has biosyn employees go to the island and try to find the barbosal can and get some dinosaur eggs but end up being killed by the carnivorous dinosaurs I think they could make them a threat again but who knows if they add them in the game.
Honestly, I think adding Dodgson into Dominion was a mistake. He shouldn't have been used in any more movies at all after he original actor did what he did. If you have to use a new actor anyway, just make a new character. My family isn't as deep into the lore or behind-the-scenes stuff in JP/JW as I am and they were all confused about who the guy was until the cryo-can showed up. Then I had to explain to them why he was recast.
I'm still wondering if we are playing as or alongside Roland who was left for dead and has to survive or he is injured and we are a random staffer who got left behind as well due to simple neglect. There was a skeleton crew on the island and they may not all have made it off. The company is kind of neglectful after all.

I really hope they take parts of Jurassic Park the Game and recannonize it. In that Game Dr. Harding and other Staff got trapped on the island by the storm and the main characters didn’t know because they sent all non essential Staff to the boat before the tropical storm hit. Then a Rescue Team is sent in after those unaccounted for once Hammond and the others make it to the mainland and get a headcount from the boat and them compared to everyone on the island. Simultaneously a Biosen Team is launched after Denis didn't make the Drop & their Guy on the boat never checked in.
I've been saying this should be a film for years. Similar to how rogue one took place between Star wars movies. They could also do a film showing how they rounded up the dinosaurs to open Jurassic world. But the people dying while doing that got swept under the rug so they were able to open. There's so much potential with movies that are sequels but also prequels to the sequels. But I'm going to have to either buy a PS5 or borrow someone's so I can play this game. I'm not a gamer but I want to play it so bad

I think you might be overthinking the rating message. It could just be the player character getting eaten in a cinematic when you die. It doesn't have to be other people on the island
Consider... - After InGen collapses when the original Jurassic Park fails, BioSyn buys them out for cheap and now has access to all their past research, plus also owns the InGen name - The game explores how they did, in fact, retrieve the embryos from Nedry - Either the game or the new movie could establish continued testing by BioSyn on Sorna and Nublar, explaining the non-InGen dinos. If they keep having bought out InGen a secret, they can blame every accident on "them". That's why "InGen" owned Jurassic World. - After the second park was such a disaster, BioSyn is ready to cut ties with the InGen name and reveal themselves as the true masterminds of the Jurassic World series. - Bonus points if one or both of Hammond's grandkids are suckered into working with BioSyn, except to anyone on the outside it's obvious BioSyn is just trying to use them for publicity and keep them quiet.
I’m so dang excited for Jurassic Park Survival I’ve been buggin saber for early access since I’ve been playing there Snowrunner game since it’s 2020 release. I’m really hoping Saber does a good job with Jurassic Park Survival. I feel like they missed an awesome opportunity with biosyn. 3:30 that’s a good point about the game. 🤔

I think Nedry trying to carve his own path off the island but failing and dying alone really intensified the horror aspect and helped emphasize the slimness of the protagonists' chances of surviving. But I agree the ramifications should have been explored in later installments.
One thing that's bugged me for 30 years and continued with the opening sequence for fallen kingdom was that Biosyn could afford to pay Nedry several million but did not have a back up plan. Not even put a tracker in the barbisol canister so a mercenary team could just drop down from a helicopter to the waterfall
Dunno if they were really around in the 90s
GPS has been around since like, the 70s I think? Maybe could’ve been done. The difficulty would be if such a thing would drastically impact the size of the canister. Though this could’ve been potentially resolved with a second camouflaged device Nedry could have attached to the can after heading off in his truck.
The issue is that, once activated, the can had an extremely limited operational time. By the time Biosyn realized Nedry’s mission had failed (and they’d have had to have been following his progress to even know in the first place), the chopper would need to fly out there. That takes time they may not have had. That’s not even mentioning needing to have a chopper _and_ a team ready to go at the drop of a hat. I think the whole idea is just not feasible for getting the can back _before_ it ran out of its fuel.
It could still be worth going for the can; even if the embryos are dead by the time they get there they're still made of valuable, unique and potentially very useful genetic material.

It just seems quite absurd that a company the size of Biosyn would not have a back up plan of any sort. Just hinge the whole multi million dollar plan on a computer guy with no espionage or military training and hope he pulls it off in a tropical storm.

She easily may have meant only Gennaro and Nedry. Gennaro she had found, and Nedry had wandered off and could reasonably be supposed to have fallen prey to a dinosaur.
In the book it's mentioned that there are at least 20 staff on the island at the time, I believe.

Point in case, in the movie it's stated they had 8 raptors when the big one took over and killed all the others but 2 leaving them with 3 total. In the books they 8 raptors with none being killed off but rather secretly breeding resulting in many more raptors.
In the novel at least 10 and Hammond are deceased out of 24 so in the book you are far from wrong.

I still think one of the best ways to reboot the Jurassic Park series is just to follow along the novel more closely, they are absolutely masterpieces and would be so nice to see adapted to the big screen, especially the second book.
Do you think Heterodontosaurus would be a good replacement for the locusts in Jurassic World: Dominion? In large enough numbers, maybe they could eat crops enough to cause problems and they might be feisty with their fangs so it is unwise to try to chase them off. Probably not too far fetched to think that Biosyn could engineer them to only eat crops that are not theirs.
Or the maybe DX disease from The Lost World novel could also be a good alternative.
I have a feeling DX may have even been the original idea before the pandemic. But yeah that totally should’ve been the concept. Or at the very least the herbivores being responsible for destroying large amounts of crops like they do at the end of the novel in order to get lysine.
It sucks that they decided to have locus be the main focus of the movie instead of the dinosaurs. Don’t get me wrong seeing prehistoric bugs in these movies are cool, but they can’t be the main plot I mean come on.
@@KlaytonFioriti Oh, that is a good read and a good thought. It would also help explain why things seemed so... disjointed in Dominion. If they were originally going for that angle, they would certainly have a tight time table to rework and avoid an obviously sensitive topic of the time.

In my head the easiest way to add BioSyn back into the franchise would be to do a movie before JP3 that explains the Spinosaurus and the dinos not on InGEN'S list were all BioSyn projects.

I always felt that Biosyn really did Nedry bad. They only offered him $50k for each viable embryo, or 1.5 million in total (added to the $750k Dodgson paid Nedry in the beginning).
The game better satisfyingly show how maya joshi got left behind a whole day after the movie ends and somehow a headcount wasnt conducted. That freezer raptor gets locked in there the day the movie cast choppers out and the movie ended with clear skies. But the trailer makes it seem as if her story is in parallel with the movie (specifically the storm that hit) and that would make the freezer raptor anachronistic. They can solve it by saying it got stormy again but something tells me that's gonna be a very big plothole that goes unnoticed.
Not really. You are in a tropical location with lush rainforests. There is always rain. However, if you want to use the storm from the movie, it was only a tropical storm and would be easy to use. Here is how you write it:
As the storm was approaching from the northeast the island on June 11th, most people were evacuated and the boat left the harbor as the first outer bands hit the island. The storm either makes landfall and hits the island directly or comes very close to the island on the first and , and immediately starts weakening because it is only a tropical storm and because of the geography of the island (namely the dormant volcano that the storm would immediately encounter). This also helps explain why there are breaks in the weather after the T. Rex attack on the jeeps. The now weakened storm could could easily be pushed to the southeast by prevailing winds some time from initial landfall on the 11th and the early hours of June 12th. However, because it would have been pushed back into warm water, it could have strengthened back up enough to be a tropical depression or tropical storm, and start moving northwest and hit the island again on the evening of June 12th from the opposite direction as before. It would also likely dissipate over the island as the volcano is still an obstacle. The main cast would have left during this recharge time on the 12th traveling in a northeastern direction back to main land. The helicopter would have experienced wind, but it would have been manageable.
If our protagonist was part of the skeleton crew, she would be expected to stay through the evacuation on the 11th. She likely did seek shelter in one of the "safe" places and she (and all the other skeleton crew left behind) are likely unaware of the catastrophic failure of the park until much later in the day on the 12th. So, now she and any others are trying to find an alternative way off the island or ways to contact the main land for help. There are dinosaurs that are loose and likely eating people, and the storm is hitting the island again. So, her story starts on June 12th and goes through June 13th.
Now, if you are questioning the behavior of tropical cyclones, look up Tropical Storm Fay from 2008. She was a crazy old girl. You can really just look up any of the abnormal tropical cyclones and see just how crazy they can be in their movements. The point of all this is to say that explaining the raining and storming in the trailer is not as hard to explain as you think.
@@CSKaras i actually just rewatched the announcement trailer and picked up on evidence that the trailer takes place after the movie as the visitor center fossils lie in ruin and the kitchen has scattered utensils, so thankfully no timeline errors... yet. But now the burden will lie on the devs to write a good reason for having her miss evac. There already were very few people on the island that werent hammond, arnold, or nedry, but they were able to evac them all out before the storm was close enough leaving only the main movie cast. Maya, and anyone else that will appear in the game will need a good resson to be on the island. Waiting it out only covers the storm, we will need a good reason why she decided to stay or was held back even after everyone around her was packing up to leave, and why no one noticed she wasnt on the evac out before. Thanks for giving me a reason to rewatch it and catch everything I missed, though.
I can see Biosyn have a contingency plan to forcefully recover assets if Nedry had failed.

Ha, I was just talking about this recently on a message board. I firmly believe BioSyn will show up in JP Survival. There's no way Dodgson didn't have a backup plan in the event Nedry was not able to complete the mission. And as you said, they're not going to want any witnesses to their actions.
I would love to finally see some screen material of the restricted section. Fingers crossed they finally canonize the marine facility for sure.

The thing that I've always said to people who question why people would keep trying to make a Jurassic park is that rich people are not gonna walk away from a money making opportunity over a few deaths. Not to mention the amount they already spent.
That applies to Biosyn aswell. They were ready to pay millions out to Nedry, that barbasol cans R&D let alone producing it likely cost a pretty penny not to mention all the intel gathering.
I seriously doubt Biosyn were willing to just walk away from that sunk cost over one assets death. So this idea really makes sense and hopefully is used.
I love Telltales Jurassic Park so much that I wish for it to stay Soft Canon. If Survival will have also a BioSyn Team to recover the barbasol can then this stays in direct conflict to Telltales Jurassic Park. So I hope they come up with something new
Edit: I just remembered that Telltales Jurassic Park was allready retconned in later season of camp cretatious. So sad, I really liked the ending of the barbasol can Storyarc in Telltales Game while in Camp Cretatious it was just a one scene nostalgia bait

so to build on this. to keep all of it cannon is that biosyn is able retrieve the can but cant get it off the island, maybe due to Mya. but She also drops it due to a dino so Dodson can trip over it in CC. but Definitely having a human threat on top of the maybe 5 carnivorous dinos in the game would better.
In the Lost World deleted scene where Peter Ludlow reads off the debts. Only three Ingen workers were confirmed dead so I don’t think there will be Maya or other Ingen workers who cannonicly die.

@Jurassiccanonking I see it as a "maybe this happened" scene. Kinda like the deleted scenes for aliens and alien. Ripley finding Burke impregnated or finding Dallas being turned into a human egg thing. Those scenes don't technically count as canon either. I always loved the idea that may e muldoon survived the raptor attack. Remember the rule of a movie, unless you see their lifeless body that character can still comeback.
@@eh2396 In the “obviously” non canon Lego game, Muldoon, Nedry, and Genero all survived until at least 2015. Also Jurassic thankfully hasn’t really done much in the way of cheap fake out deaths (until CC and CT) but yeah, I like to think this scene happened just because it makes sense so it’s in my headcanon and I think would officially go under the label of soft canon.

If they do put BioSyn in the game, I'd like for them to try and fool the MC by trying to explain some lie or vague excuse as to why there are "workers" left on the island. At least until the MC finds out and then it's full mask-off with BioSyn mercs trying to kill the MC and anyone that isn't part of them. It'd be far better than them just trying to kill the player on sight for no explainable reason (in-game lore I mean, since no-one seems to know who the fuck BioSyn is)

B. The sceintist more or less released the liscen into the water supply. Of the rivers etc. Them eatting it from some plant doesnt make since, not to mention the gene was probably not passed on with the future eggs.

...I know this is wishful thinking, but when you mentioned survivors on the island, I immediately thought about Robert Muldune(sp). I mean, in the book, he did not die. There was even a comic where we learned that he had survived. I would LOVE for the main character to come across him, help him recover from his injuries, he helps her survive, and they BOTH get off the island! ...again, shot in the dark, but a girl can dream, right? 😊❤

Awesome video, man, and at 5:32, I was very, very disappointed with that in CC. Homeboy just trips and finds the barbasol with no Nedry's jeep insight or whatever. Anyways I am looking forward to JP:Survival but i am optimistic. For too long we have gotten park simulators which is fine, but I miss shooting dinos, survival horror with dinos. I do hope this delivers that, if not well CAPCOM GET US THAT DINO CRISIS REMAKE!.
I hate that they didn’t give any more information about byosin after Jurassic Park. We never got any info about the state of Sorna, only posters about “ Forbidden the trespassing “. They left so many questions and holes that could’ve saved the franchise from its current status. We never got any backstory from the “ Amalgam Testing on screen nor how did Wu planned all of it.

presently, my own headcanon on Biosyn in the movies is that it was actually a very recent company, possibly emerging sometime after Jurassic World opened, and the company Dodgson represented in the first movie was a different one that folded up because Nedry never delivered on his end of the deal

I wonder if they are gonna show dinosaurs that were on old park's brochure and embryotic species that Nedry stole. Canonically only new dinosaurs that we didn't saw in the first movie were herrerasaurus and compsognathus so it's not that many.
i think one of the most satisfying things about this is how out of all things, the thing that's stayed the most narratively consistent about the films is people not knowing the original JP Disaster was a direct result of a Biosynth instigated sabotage, because it makes sense, Nedry and Dogdson were the only ones that knew, and Nedry died not telling anyone and Dogdson would obviousl not implicate himself, and from how the old visitor centre looks in JW it's obvious InGen did not bother to salvage and possibly investigate what caused the old facilities to fail.
we as the audicence know, but there is not resonable way people in-universe could know without Dogdson fessing up or unless Nedry wrote something incrimating on something that had a backup online.
Dodgson should have been akin to Albert Wesker (Resident Evil, minus the superpowers)

Them not utilizing Biosyn properly after the first movie is almost as bad as not making a JP video game where you ARE the dinosaur since Lost World (except for the Lego game but even that's limited).
I really do hope that they do make Dodgson less of a CEO moron, and more of a psychopath in the game. It would make sense and it would be great.

Honestly if Dodgeson could end up being the main human antagonist similar to his role in the lost world novel that would be amazing. Maybe adapting the scene where he throws Sarah off the boat to him throwing Maya off a raft in the river on isla nublar? Honestly I think the idea of having Maya not even able to trust other people on the island would make for a very interesting game. More stealth-based levels where she has to say, get past some workers trying to take InGen property (since they would kill her probably if they found her) or stuff like making a noise by the workers to alert a dinosaur to get them would make for clever level design.
The actor for Dodgson in JP 1 was put in jail for assault and the Dodgson we saw in JW 3 is a completely different actor.
To me it makes sense that there would be other people like Maya on Nublar. When hurricanes hit, people don't always leave the area. Plus their would have likely been some crisis control staff that stayed behind as well as people who just lived on the island instead of traveling back and forth. So it would make sense for there to be other workers that got caught in the aftermath

I always thought that the Barbersalt Can wasn't found was because the Dilophosaurus's played with it.
It would be interesting and if in Jurassic Park survival has biosyn employees go to the island and try to find the barbosal can and get some dinosaur eggs but end up being killed by the carnivorous dinosaurs I think they could make them a threat again but who knows if they add them in the game.
Honestly, I think adding Dodgson into Dominion was a mistake. He shouldn't have been used in any more movies at all after he original actor did what he did. If you have to use a new actor anyway, just make a new character. My family isn't as deep into the lore or behind-the-scenes stuff in JP/JW as I am and they were all confused about who the guy was until the cryo-can showed up. Then I had to explain to them why he was recast.

I really hope they take parts of Jurassic Park the Game and recannonize it. In that Game Dr. Harding and other Staff got trapped on the island by the storm and the main characters didn’t know because they sent all non essential Staff to the boat before the tropical storm hit. Then a Rescue Team is sent in after those unaccounted for once Hammond and the others make it to the mainland and get a headcount from the boat and them compared to everyone on the island. Simultaneously a Biosen Team is launched after Denis didn't make the Drop & their Guy on the boat never checked in.
I've been saying this should be a film for years. Similar to how rogue one took place between Star wars movies. They could also do a film showing how they rounded up the dinosaurs to open Jurassic world. But the people dying while doing that got swept under the rug so they were able to open. There's so much potential with movies that are sequels but also prequels to the sequels. But I'm going to have to either buy a PS5 or borrow someone's so I can play this game. I'm not a gamer but I want to play it so bad

Would be interesting to have biosyn make an appearance in the game,would make sense for a small team to in to investigate what happened to nedry,and to see what other secrets they can get their hands on, an indea of having biosyn spies on the island already,reminds me of the spy from trespasser,who meets his demise in the pipe on the dam! I'm hoping you do come across nedrys corpse.....imagine finding the jeep,with nedry inside,somehow still breathing,trys to say something ,but dies in front of you.......then the dilophosaurus just hoots and appears around the jeep,jaws covered in blood,just stares at you.........RUN!!!!!
I think you might be overthinking the rating message. It could just be the player character getting eaten in a cinematic when you die. It doesn't have to be other people on the island

- The game explores how they did, in fact, retrieve the embryos from Nedry
- Either the game or the new movie could establish continued testing by BioSyn on Sorna and Nublar, explaining the non-InGen dinos. If they keep having bought out InGen a secret, they can blame every accident on "them". That's why "InGen" owned Jurassic World.
- After the second park was such a disaster, BioSyn is ready to cut ties with the InGen name and reveal themselves as the true masterminds of the Jurassic World series.
- Bonus points if one or both of Hammond's grandkids are suckered into working with BioSyn, except to anyone on the outside it's obvious BioSyn is just trying to use them for publicity and keep them quiet.
I’m so dang excited for Jurassic Park Survival I’ve been buggin saber for early access since I’ve been playing there Snowrunner game since it’s 2020 release. I’m really hoping Saber does a good job with Jurassic Park Survival. I feel like they missed an awesome opportunity with biosyn. 3:30 that’s a good point about the game. 🤔
Definitely hope this theory comes to fruition in either the jurassic park survival video game or maybe the next film they explore the aftermath of biosyns shady operations being exposed to the public after Alan and Ellie testified to the courts at the end of dominion and we finally learn what shady stuff the company was doing behind the scenes with in the past 30 years in universe it's really mind boggling why biosyn wasn't integrated into the franchise and didn't play a big role
