I still play this and NCAA 12. Graphics and game play are good enough for me. I like the depth in franchise mode. Madden 07 and Madden 12 are my favorites
I like how when a team win the Superbowl the commentor talk about each of their past. Like if the Bears win they would talk about the 85 Bears. If the Dolphins win they would talk about the perfect season 72 Dolphins. If a team that didn't win the Superbowl like the Bill's they would talk about how they went to the superboel four straight time and lost all. They make it so meaningful
@H b.34 Nah I disagree. 2K5 is the best sports game ever, but 2K8 feels like a Chinese bootleg. At least Madden 12 feels dynamic, 2K8 is unnaturally slow and cumbersome. And kicking in 2K8 is a deal-breaker.
The commentary in this game is easily the highlight. Gus Johnson is so good on commentary, because it's like having a fan in the commentating booth. When you break off a big play, the commentary makes you feel like it's game changing. Gus Johnson introducing the starters for each team was awesome, because he went in depth about both the offense and the defense. How did we go from the best commentary team since John Madden and Al Michaels to one of the worst commentary teams of all time in Phil Simms and Jim Nantz? Really, why would you get rid of Gus johnson?

Still a great game to play (along with Madden 25th Anniversary). In all my years of playing it though just noticed though that, the Super Bowl was played in Indianapolis and at the beginning of the second quarter the commentator says “welcome back to Green Bay” - never noticed that before 😂😂
I played this the other day...... Somehow all the saved data I had in the game got deleted with all the rookies and the last roster before the servers shut down
Did anyone else have this game crash a lot for them? It has my favorite gameplay of the Maddens, but it would always crash in-game during franchise mode, dampening my enthusiasm for the game.
