My husband and I love your videos! We are going on our Viking Rhine River cruise in 2 months, and it has been so helpful and fun to watch your videos about your trip! We are hoping you will post more about your trip. We are hoping to hear all about Day 3 of your cruise!
We're going on Viking Alruna from Basel to Amsterdam, then the next day we're getting on Viking Jupiter and going to Norway. It's cool seeing your guys' videos and seeing how much fun you had on both the ocean and the river. It was 503 days away when we booked and now it's only around 120. We just subscribed and can't wait to see the rest of your videos
Thanks so much! You're going to have the best couple of weeks! The crew on the Alruna is amazing, you'll love every second. Thanks for subscribing - feel free to reach out with questions!
Great video! My wife and I will be on Viking’s Grand European itinerary later this year and will consider this excursion (we love cheese too). Were there any other optional tours that stood out for you?
We did 2 other optional ones: Dinner in Rudesheim and Medieval Colmar. I would suggest Medieval Colmar, but skip the Dinner in Rudesheim and go on your own. Plenty of others on the boat had a way better time just exploring Rudesheim on foot.
@@slewis7 I believe the Grand European Cruise goes between Amsterdam and Budapest on both the Danube and the Rhine Rivers. That itinerary doesn't make it far enough south on the Rhine to stop at Colmar
Great job on these videos

The cheese doesn’t need to be refrigerated? My sister is going on that cruise and I’d love to have her bring me some.

Hey Alex Alvarez Colmar does not appear an option from the itinerary on my river cruise, but thanks!
Mine didn't pop up until about 90-120 days before departure!

Kevin Counts yes, that is my understanding.
