This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
The millers would communicate by the stopped positions of the sails, positions like: "+", "x", and positions that are a few degrees different from these, degrees plus or degrees minus.
The "Propellers?" are called Sails or Wind Vanes, although I think the actual "Vane" is the rudder at the back that turns the mill into the wind direction.
My method is going to the super market. Albert Heijn is the biggest retailer but not the only one. Plenty of prepared food for sale. Lots of fishmongers also sell their produce ready to eat. Dining out can be reduced to once a day whilst on vacation. Hema department stores also have cafeterias and their Hema Rookworst is the cooked sausage they are famous for.
I hear that everyone is so crazy about poffertjes, did you know that you can make them at home? With a poffertjes pan? Electric or on gas. So easy to make at home if you have a pan you can buy one online.
This was very interesting. Enjoyed
it very much. The Dutch surely are
nice down to earth people. I have
always enjoyed my trips to The
Netherlands.
Love how Largo had his arm wrapped around and leaned into Avalon. Adorable.
They are so close. I love it.

@@julianlord5366 Never heard them called "Blades?"
Wieken!
I’m really intrigued by Holland. Is it very expensive eating out and doing activities like the windmill-land?
It was more expensive than eastern europe, but less thank we anticipated for sure. We had just come from Norway so nothing can top that with $$$$.

I would love to stay in a windmill airbnb, even just for 1 night 🤩

Well and we live 7 meters below sea level ,. And never have floods we are on the safest place in europe i think
@@BakjeLeip ik zei wij hebben nog nooit overstroming gehad( in de Flevopolder). En leven 7 meter onder zee niveau!.
Niets meer niets minder!

Great, time to add another appliance to Lemonade. Ha!
As the dutch say " you ain't much if you ain't dutch"
This year's Beaujolais is nowhere near as good as the 2018 was, but oh well, I was expecting it ...
Bad luck Jessica - never will you
find a windmill for sale. Carry on
dreaming - no harm in that.
An unused water tower to live in.
