These were some of the best times of life...saw him in concert with the Silver Bullet band in 1977 at the Mosque in Richmond Virginia (where I grew up)...still have my half of the ticket stub.
When you listen to Bob, you are listening to a story..... a story like no other. Something that takes you to your teenage yrs. or simply reminds you of a life once lived. He is fabulous. You get lost in the words. You picture every phrase.... it's all there. If you're looking for his best , go to "famous final scene".
I don't think today's generation quite gets the imagery of a photo album. People used to take photos and put them in an album. Here I am up on the stage. There I go turn the page. That all refers to photos in an album of his tour with his band.

Oh Bob is good in my opinion just like ACDC, not a bad song in either bands huge catalogs of legendary songs. Anthems. You will love Bob's music, vocals of an angel.

I love all types from Seger to Eminem to Disturbed! lol One song you should listen too if you havnt yet by Bidsturbed a really hard rockin metal band is their vesion of "The Sound Of Silence" But then listen to "Down With the Sickness" lol Some of the best music from the past come from Seger though! Most young people don’t understand the age & culture clash that existed in this country during the 1960s70s.. there was a “disconnect” between young people and their elders.. especially young people who embraced social justice, racial and gender equality, questioning authority and pursuing peace. They (the young) weren’t always right in their views, e.g., drug use, but they generally sought peace and understanding. For the elders, some were cool with that but many others considered them to be UN-American, especially in regards to the Vietnam war, and viewed them as a bunch of drugged up communist hippie bums. Just like the young viewed them as rich, entitled, corrupt, stuck up money hungry despots. Neither, of course was correct. But the song highlights those period tensions between the old American and the new one.

I wanted to read these comments if I'm just leaving comments for nothing but this song is yeah it's the thing about the song it's the words it's about going on tour and being on that tour bus and the grind of it show after show same thing you're singing the same songs for a hundred shows around the country then around the world why do you think those groups always break up because they're on top of each other like a you know husband and wife with the grind and then you mix the drugs in there and the alcohol and the women they never last that's why the rolling Stones are a phenomenon what those groups should have did is kind of what Nas does nozzle put on an album every five years and that's what they should have did but it's hard to stay on top that way
Yep, in the late 90s to early 2000s. Gave up 10 prime years of touring and his voice. Voice really changed, but had some surgery on his vocal chords after 2010 or so, I believe. I could hear an improvement after that. Still, his best time vocally was from the late sixties to early nineties. Such a huge music catalog to dive into.
