The problem with being able to sue anyone for any reason in the US is that it costs money. This is really just an extra tax for being too poor to ream them in court.

One of the biggest fuck yous of the situation is the cease and desist letters they decided to send out when suppliers were demanding payment. Even if multiple tech tubers and industry insiders weren't bashing this company warning everyone to the red flags, if you knew all this about any company what sane person would do business with them. EK is really scrambling selling what they can to recover but the reputation is probably shot and despite their recent popularity will have most considering other brands.
They did this to my Zenfone 6 as well. Had a broken charging port. They claimed water damage and sent it back with not just the repairs I asked for but also a new camera and screen. It totalled over €250. They shipped the broken parts back and the water damage indicator wasn't even discolored.

I had an issue with my Asus GeForce 9600 GSO back in 2010 and returned it for an RMA. Got it back two months later and it was still defective but when I tried to RMA it again they told me my warranty expired! I've never bought another Asus product since.
They rejected my rma, made me buy a new heatsink and fans, when I got my gpu back it bricked. They didn't install the heatsink proper, I didn't know at first because it was my first gpu. 780ti dcu2oc. My gigabyte 1050 and zotac 1080 still going stronk

Almost send my pos Rog ally in due to joystick not working going left or right. Took it apart and a piece came out. Put it back together and it started working again. Didn’t have to send crap and I fixed the problem for free.

They've been doing this for a decade, I had to send in my Asus laptop in 2012 and they found some random part in it to replace that was like 70 bucks plus the repair cost on it...there was nothing wrong with that part
I recently sent in a tuf z690 ddr5 board for repairs as It did not post no matter what I did, brand new out the box. they wanted to charge me 150 to fix it when the board is now worth 200. They sent me back an email stating that the reason it didn’t post was because one of the rgb pins on the fan header tore off so they shut down my case and decided to not fix it. Absolutely ridiculous

I used to work for samsung in germany, people usualy sent their phones for repair especially when it comes to the flip phones.. their repair policy is that if you send in an Phone to a repair shop..they have to give you back a phone just like if you got it brand new out of the box. So what would happen in the end.. a person that wanted just the screen replaced got overcharged cause they saw some damage on the phones shell etc. Repair policies have become wild and a trap for consumers who are unaware of whats going on
My friend has a problem with their warranty for his Zephyrus G15. 3 days after opening the box and using it for daily drive, screen died. Tried claiming the warranty but apparently he has to pay half of the repair cost. He got pissed and traded it for MSI laptop on the other store nextdoor. He's happy now at least

They replaced it with a screen that has like four imperfections that look like fingerprint indents and incorrectly in the frame that cut off the edges of the screen, but it was too expensive to go through the process again, and I needed a laptop for university. Their business practices have been shady for years, man. I love my ASUS, but I'd never recommend the company to anyone, nor would I buy another laptop from them.
As an honest mechanic working in the automotive repair industry, this is sounding REAL similar to those horror stories you hear of other mechanics or service advisors trying to make an extra buck on an already "free" service for the warranty. I brought in a iPhone SE for repair due to it not working, the problems came back to a defective logic board, but they came back and said it had water damage which is not covered by apply care. The closest to water I ever had this was next to the restroom door where I showered.
I once sent in my iPhone for battery replacement to Apple. They sent me back a picture of my phone, claiming that it arrived dead and I had to pay for a new one. But I made an iCloud backup just a minute before putting it into the mail, so I could backup my claim that it was working perfectly fine when it went out to Apple. In the end, they sent me a free new phone after I spoke to the supervisor on phone. Never give up
When they do stuff like this I usually threaten them about how I will take this personally and the person writing the emails might get the short end of the stick if he doesn't comply.
My warranty claim also declined bcz my motherboard has a lil pin bend but that wasn't even an issue . My issue was with the port and ram slot but the declined 😢

Now I will build it by my own, because they where not able to build a WORKING PC for 2400€ it is about the same in $. Had the same issue with my Vacuum Bot... They wanted to sell me a battery instead of repairing a Sensor.

I've never been fond of Asus products but I can say now I won't even bother looking at them for options
My warranty claim also declined bcz my motherboard has a lil pin bend but that wasn't even an issue . My issue was with the port and ram slot but the declined 😢
That’s wild and worth writing GN about it and possibly sending it to them for them to look at and prove it’s happening out in the wild besides with them
@@RandomGuyComments yea dude when i got service centre they didn't ask for problem the started inspecting it and said if not cover in warranty bcz there is a physical damage and that bend pin works fine 😭
Any big company does stuff like this! It is often up to the workers, ask for his boss! I had a worse situation with CSL a Gaming-PC build service in Germany. Now I will build it by my own, because they where not able to build a WORKING PC for 2400€ it is about the same in $. Had the same issue with my Vacuum Bot... They wanted to sell me a battery instead of repairing a Sensor.
finally they have Ballance opponent, how many consumers have this probl and just pay it
