As it should be. Everything up to this point was the build up, from the relationships he built, losing Paul, the fight with Atoph and her minions showing he's beatable, Hito's motives revealed and the true scope of his personality created the feeling of desperation.
The final fight with rudeus and allies vs 3 god tier opponents then against baldigadi who was the 3rd world power who absolutely soled rudeus allies and even beat his MK1 which damaged orsted so much with a single hit and Rudy had to use his own version of the hulk buster MK0 was also peak for me.
I’m only on 22, I’ve ordered all 26 volumes but they won’t be here for a while but I learned Audible had them in audiobook form. Unfortunately only 21 have been released so far. 22 and 23 release end of August. So hype on the fight to come but pretty sad about Geese.
Damn Orsted became my favorite side character after reading the manga especially those moments that he interacts with Rudy's kids like a grumpy uncle but soft with the kids

You missed the part where Rudeus takes revenge on the city that killed his wife. His future self killed hundreds of people in a fit of anger to get revenge on the city itself. It is described as a massacre. It is a pretty important aspect to add, because before that Rudeus had never killed anyone (As far as I remember) He had fought a lot of people, but all his other fights had always been in order to defend others or himself. Him taking revenge, on the other hand, was fueled by nothing but hatred and anger. He became a completely different person after that.
I really want them to do justice of Future Rudy's story. I wanna be heartbroken by all the events, Rudeus struggling to have some self-control and then burning the whole place with the people throwing rocks at Sylph, damn. I really hope they make it separately giving each sequence their time

She ended up going back to being the princesses bodyguard, but was killed alongside the princess and that other dude. This completely broke Rudy for a second time, and he apparently more or less destroyed the whole country with everyone in it.
Not going to lie this is has some crazy shit happening in the story it almost feel like 2 to 3 stories overlapping one feeding the other into a magnificent story. I am very impressed definitely better than any Isekai anime i have ever seen and in general one if the best stories ive heard about. Also thanks man this was a great summary
Its what a well done time travel story should do; branching timelines, so that characters can effect the main story, and the story can be the success. Basically the time travel should have already happened, and in this case, it did.
I believe that mushoku tensei was the first modern isekai (not sure if this true). And that every isekai anime is based off of this one. Those anime's took all the superficial parts of mushoku tensei like a pervy mc, harem of girls. But they didn't take much of the emotional or psychological stuff.
That’s kind of correct actually, since Rudeus’ entire story is only a hiccup that happens because of the actions of several other people in connection to other people from Rudeus’ original world, and sets up the stage for another story that could be considered the true defining events of the Mushoku Tensei world.

the teleportation scene was really epic imo from reading WN trans back then. Rudeus in the future without Roxy basically Soloed the Church to get the Grimoire to cure Roxy but failed (he was able to get the Grimoire). His time teleportation magic left him with no organs cause he sent his organs into the future to push the rest of his body to the past or something. I read that years ago and that stuck to me, like how crazy old Rudeus must be to use a magic that sure to kill himself to create a future for another him. (I might be wrong cause it was a long time ago, he either don't have the magic capacity or like he really newton's third law his body to time travel)
As far as I remember his magic simply didnt work as he had expected. He wasn't planning on dying. He was just trying to go back in time. He had theorised that he would actually go back and "become" his previous self, and basically take over the Rudeus we know. He was hesitant to do it, because he didn't feel like he deserved a second chance after all of the mistakes he had made, so he was somewhat happy about the fact that his theory was wrong, and that he instead would just be able to warn his previous self. Yes, he would die, but as far as I remember, he knew he would either take over present day Rudeus or die.

Having just read half of what this video covers I can honestly say Mushoku Tensei will be my favourite anime, definetly number one, once TP4 and the fight with Orsted will be animated.

I read the manga , read the WN and LN and looked the anime . My Theorie is : 2nd season will end with the death of Paul. Could also end with Oldeus . 3rd season will cover how Rudeus joins Orston and how he saves Azula Kingdom . 4 Season will end with him learning who the main apostol of hitogami is . 5 season will cover the end of Mushoku tensei. We have 26 LN , and 2 seasons cover 12. I am confident we will have either 5 seasons or 4 seasons + movie . Also the Autor said he will start writing the sequel , once Mushoku tensei as a whole gets animated . Well .. guess I have more than one reason to not succumb to my depression haha !

I can't believe the plot and how 'good' it's going or went (past tense) since it's out already 😂 I can't wait for it to be animated and watch the whole series from start to finnish again, instead of seeing it in bits here and there. I've loved the characters and story when it came out and love the art style too. Probably one of my favortie anime that came out recently, or in it's category of isekai (for sure). I wish other story plots happened, like more interactions with the powerful characters, especially since Rudeus has gotten stronger etc over time. Specifically more interactions with the demon 'queen', kishirikka? 😂 Even though I think he does get another magic eye I've read 🤔 more things like that would be cool. Luke is one of the apostle. Geese and Badigadi are the main apostles and will be the final enemy of Rudy. Ruijerd is a pedo, his wife will be Norn. Before Rudy die of old age, he had a vision about the final battle between Hitogami and Orsted with his descendants, sadly they cannot kill Hitogami, they only put him in chain signifying the end of the series.

Having just read half of what this video covers I can honestly say Mushoku Tensei will be my favourite anime, definetly number one, once TP4 and the fight with Orsted will be animated.
i ve read this story over 12 times but i couldnt "click" on another vid after this narration started...ppl tend to say that its runcht n shit but its simply "real",maybe too real on some parts so much so that makes ppl uncomfortable but thats the point!!i cant say how much i adore this story and how much hype i have for the "main event" of that world/story saga,i just hope that i ve be alive when it starts n ends...
Ariel actually soiled herself when she first met Orested in the forest with Rudeus. Goes to show you how strong the aura that surrounds Orested is.
The "dark time line" Rudeus just highlights further how this is just another fantasy isekai where someone has to be sent to a new world where people like him in order to live a good life.

Ik I basically spoil myself especially with the beginning telling me Paul will die (I’m an anime only btw) after I saw the death god image I was like “I SAW HIM IN BARNES AND NOBLES OMG” and everything started to click. I honestly can’t wait for this to be animated, all this content in this video tells me that the anime can literally get like 7 or 8 seasons if strech out but not too much
I read the manga , read the WN and LN and looked the anime . My Theorie is : 2nd season will end with the death of Paul. Could also end with Oldeus .
3rd season will cover how Rudeus joins Orston and how he saves Azula Kingdom .
4 Season will end with him learning who the main apostol of hitogami is .
5 season will cover the end of Mushoku tensei.
We have 26 LN , and 2 seasons cover 12. I am confident we will have either 5 seasons or 4 seasons + movie .
Also the Autor said he will start writing the sequel , once Mushoku tensei as a whole gets animated .
Well .. guess I have more than one reason to not succumb to my depression haha !

I only watched the anime, and was of course curious about future events (came across 1 or 2 spoilers over the months, but nothing really major spoiling the story), but after watching your video here I guess I'm fully up-to-date on the contents of the Light Novel now. What an amazing summary (and wow, there is still so much content to be animated, this story is LONG)! Much appreciated. I really enjoyed your presentation. Thank you for sharing this. I can't believe the plot and how 'good' it's going or went (past tense) since it's out already 😂 I can't wait for it to be animated and watch the whole series from start to finnish again, instead of seeing it in bits here and there. I've loved the characters and story when it came out and love the art style too. Probably one of my favortie anime that came out recently, or in it's category of isekai (for sure). I wish other story plots happened, like more interactions with the powerful characters, especially since Rudeus has gotten stronger etc over time. Specifically more interactions with the demon 'queen', kishirikka? 😂 Even though I think he does get another magic eye I've read 🤔 more things like that would be cool. Or maybe someone else in his family getting magic eyes too. That'd be frickin cool, but maybe pointless unless it's used in the story I guess. Like a bunch of the harem getting magic eyes for no reason 😂❤
