@@Rsbrooklyn Ten years on the Yankees always hitting into double plays with runners on base in clutch situations, except in April. He put up his RBI numbers when the team had a lead. Why do you think Steinbrenner called him "Mr. May"?

@@howie9751 Oh yeah thats all he did was hit into double plays HAHAHA thats how come he was an AS every year. i dont know what games you were watching. Steinbrenner hated him, just like you do. He was always trying to find dirt on him and got him suspended. No reason to keep going on about this with you. Youre just looking for an argument. That's your thoughts. I know what he did, and that's how come I said he was a great player.

@@Rsbrooklyn I watched every game and saw Winfield hit sharp ground balls to SS in almost every clutch situation, except in April. His numbers gave him the All-Star votes, but those numbers were put up in non-clutch situations. That was the reason Steinbrenner hated him.
