    I love this so much, love from a USA big fan. RIP Mark, you really understood deep emotions, I am so sad you are gone.

    As a fan of 70's Tangerine Dream, I recently discovered Mark Shreeve and Redshift, and I love it. It's like an update of 70's Tangerine Dream, it has the sound TD should have had in the 90s and 2000s.

    Just love it! I don't know how many times I've listened to this album. Maybe it's because the title track (Halo) reminds me of elements in Klaus Schulze's Mirage album - which I just newer can stop loving after so many years :-)

      Ah, yes, I also find that the sequencer line kind of sounds like the intro of Crystal Lake. :)

    Thanks for sharing this great Berlin school album. Makes me dig out my old TD and KS albums.

    For me, this is an indirect music between J.M. Jarre & Tangerine Dream. Why listen to those two as you can Redshift ... is great. In my opinion, too little appreciated band!

    For me, their second best album after Faultline (live). I hope they'll continue to develop this style of music which is a legacy of KS and TD (early periods) styles.

    Music to admire rather than like? It's impressive but where is the humanity? Setting off on a solo interstellar journey, with no return ticket, comes to mind

    • @Psychlist1972
      @Psychlist1972 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +piglet5287 There's plenty of "humanity" in it. You just don't like it, which is fine, of course. Just don't assume it's lifeless.

      That effect takes a lot of talent to achieve, whether it's your taste or not. It's like death metal, the more disturbing, the more talent it takes. Same with healing music and so on. Good music is not always the most pleasant, sometimes it takes to space, to hell, to Paradise... What I hate is when it's not good or strong enough to take me anywhere.

      piglet5287 maybe the music captured the soulless time of our so-called advanced but also poor and lonely modern lifes?

    Very good production for the movie. I just don't care for listening to this production outside of the movie.
