I love playing Crash Tag Team racing. I still play it. Being able to merge with other cars and shoot them down with epic blasters as you race through a theme park to collect power gems to keep the tracks running. Childhood! And I suppose early adulthood too since I still play it

Tyler Williams I actually never owned ctr... I loved nitro kart to bits and from what I've heard they're very similar...
Kanzy there barely alike. The only thing they have in common is the karts and the mystery boxes in racing. Crash team racing was also more of a real crash game with the walking around character. You can merge cars with the enemy so one can shoot other cars and the other can drive. It's a lot more complex and by far probaly the best crash game in my opinion. Also it has minigames like bowling, stunt tracks with cars and even upgrades/ secrets!

I never really enjoyed playing crash growing up,i was more of a "Spyro kid" myself (ryptos rage and year of the dragon remain to be some of my favorite games of all time). That being said i eventually played Crash warped and crash twinsanity the ladder being one of my favorite games growing up.
Same here. Huge Spyro fan, though I never got the chance to play the first Spyro game...got it last month after it was released for the PS4.

You forgot to mention that crash's apperance in the game wasn't changed at all for the Japan release. His apperance was only changed om the box art and in promotional material, and also I was told that Japan had its own unique cutscenes, but I am not entirely shure about this.
I remember the good old days, sitting on the living room floor in front of my tv, trying to beat road to nowhere, eventually rage quitting and having my dad beat it for me lol. To this day, i think Crash Bandicoot is one of the best, and most challenging games out there. The Latest one from 2007 was a disgrace.

The first crash will always be my favourite because it was the first game i ever had on ps1 in 96 and the only one too for a while other than a demo that had wipeout on so i played it religiously

Man, as if I couldn't love crash enough, now I learn he was a mascot for leukemia and lymphoma. As an 18 year old who almost died last year to lymphoma, that just makes me love crash even more.
My favorite Crash game ever was CTR. It was just so fun and growing up with PlayStation it was equally as fun as Mario kart.

Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped was the very first Crash Bandicoot game that I played - I even originally believed it to be the first Crash game, and the original game being the first game since I was very young and that's the order I played them - and it's my favourite.
I love ❤️ these games when I grow up Crash was one of my favorite game ever miss them we had the first Crash game we loved it

Genuinely wish they would've used the cartoon styled cut scene. Could've totally made a cartoon to go along with it. Sony could've cashed in on that.
Purra was originally going to be a panda (which is why he runs on the Great Wall of china in crash3). It was changed because he looked too similar to Polar

My favorite crash game is warped because it was one of the first 2 video games I ever played
I won't consider myself a hardcore fan of Crash Bandicoot despite being one of my favorite video game series of all times yet i somehow managed to already know the majority of these facts. Interesting.
What I find particularly interesting is the fact that not all Crash games were exclusive to sony consoles. There's at least one iteration of tag team racing that was on the gc as well. It was the only crash game I ever owned myself. My first and only sony console was th ps2 and I got that a while after I got TTR fo the GC. I really loved that game because it wasn't just racing, there was a big open platforming world and played a lot like the simpsons hit and run which was one of my favourite games at the time as well.

heres a fun fact for everyone: Crash Team Racing back in 2010 had a planned sequel complete with *Customizable Karts* , but the game was canceled early in development.
I bet those other unfinished levels could be added as dlc like the super hard one was.

I played Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, 3, Bash and Team Racing for Ps1.
After that, I never touched a single one. I remember buying Demo magazines saying that The Wrath of Cortex for Ps2 was trash, then they went on remodeling Crash in the following installment, which threw me off.
Hold up, I've got the crash bandicoot disk for my ps2 and I swear I have that stormy decent level. I'm not sure if it's the same name but I recognise that level, definitely the same.
