Thanks so much for this video; it's so helpful, and your makeup is absolutely lovely! I've just ordered the Designer Pro. 😊

You are SO skilled with makeup application. I like how you dab on your blush! And the way you apply eyeshadow on the lower lash line. Thanks for showing us!

I earned $140 credit in the Beautylish gift card event, I have the Smooth Buffer and the Inochige Pro in my cart but I also want Niji Pro…..what are your two favorites out of the three?

That's tough because I never took to any of these brushes long term. It depends on your makeup needs but I would say the Niji or Inochige are the most versatile. Since I got the Hakuhodo G6530 I havent touched the Inochige but if you dont have that there are so many tasks it can do.

What soap do you use to wash your brushes? Do you think alcohol free micellar water is ok to use on natural hair brushes??

    • @brushjunkie6384

I use olaplex no 4 shampoo on my brushes. It’s available at Sephora and Nordstrom. Using a silicone scrub thing helps a lot. You can try the micellar water but it would use up a lot And they will eventually need a good wash (esp foundation brushes).
I also use African black soap in a solid. It’s not as good at cleaning but gets the job done. I got mine at the vitamin shop
I did a “how I wash my brushes” video a while back using the solid soap.

oooh yey! You will have to let me know what you think of the Fusion Jumbo Concealer. When will you be getting it??
I have 98% of Sonia G brushes. The Fusion series have become so sensational to me. And the Jumbo Concealer I am finding can be used for lots of parts of my makeup application.
I have hooded lids which means the shadow on my hood aka transition area is seen the most and I like it faded well. So my application technique ends up being a pulling out motion....from the middle of the hood to out to the brow and temple. And then I will clean up the edges from the eye's outer corner up to the brow and temple. I use the Jumbo Concealer to pull out my shadow and clean up the edges.
I also use this brush to lay down any eye primer or first powder product. This is besides using it for undereye and around the nose concealing. If you like using the Soft Concealer, I think you will also like using the Jumbo Concealer. It is a packer and swiper brush, but I think the brush edge can also do some blending well. It's definitely not for detail work. But I find it versatile.
The other brushes I own which I do consider buying duplicates of are my Chikuhodo GSN 9 and 5. I like they are squirrel because they are soft and move beautifully, and don't like that they are squirrel because I feel like I have to be more mindful of them. But I do enjoy the GSN 5 for laying down a base shadow. And the GSN 9 can lay down color on its flat side or add bits of color with its edges, and it's so soft on the lower lash line. Plus I do enjoy their long white handles.
Is it just me or do you get really excited about fude?! : D Thanks, Tracey! Take it easy. Denise

I’m very curious about the jumbo concealer. It’s not a shape I go for usually. It’s very exciting! My makeup keeps looking better as I get used to these fusion brushes.
Now I have to put my other foundation brushes in storage 😝

I love the fusion jumbo base. I have the set and love everything except I’m not sure how to get the best use out of the detailed pro - do you like it if you have it?

    • @denisemarie6131
      @denisemarie6131 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@wendyraye The Detail Pro? Not from the Fusion Set, yes? It's like a very large eye blending brush. I am learning to use my brushes in all different ways. Take the shape of the Detail Pro. I can load powder onto the brush tip or on the brush sides. I can lightly use the brush tip in circular motions against my skin or apply more pressure and get a heavier blend. Also I can pull out my shadow by using the side of the brush.
I like to really blow out my eye blend up to my brow, probably because I have hooded eyes. So I really like an array of various sizes of blending brushes. But this brush may also be used with highlighter, as well as a tight placement of brush and bronzer. It can also be used to add bronzer and highlighter to the ears, neck, or collar bones.
Play. Play with your makeup brushes! Think outside the box. Let me know what you discover. Vary where on the brush you load up the powder, or use it as your clean blending brush. Change the angle of the brush when applying the product, and change up the pressure on your skin.
