Thank you for uploading this vid Traci. I am getting eye fatigue from rewatching all of your Sonia G brush and Wayne Goss brush vids and other best brush vids to try to decide which brushes I want to buy. I have been binge watching your brush vids for days. So many brushes my heart wants to buy, but I have to narrow down to essentials and it's such a tough process narrowing that list down :'(
I know how that feels. I don't think this series will be going away anytime soon. Some of the Wayne Goss brushes however may not be restocked so maybe consider those first. I have my eye on the artist medium and it says the #3 will be coming back but I'm not sure about that. I would def snag that if possible.
@@brushjunkie6384 it’s actually torture to add all those pretty brushes to cart, then to have to take them out and move them to wishlist 😭😭 Your advice that Sonia G will be around helps! I hadn’t known Wayne Goss might not be around for long, thank you for letting me know! I am now looking at Wayne Goss and Chikuhodo and Koyudo as the latter two are raising prices soon!
@@brushjunkie6384 Traci, if you have time would you please post your must have brushes from Chikuhodo and Koyudo before their price increase? One or maybe even a few must have brushes for each category, for example: 2 for eyeshadow packing, 2 for eyeshadow crease, eyeliner, blush, powder, etc.
@@seraphinajadeite sure. I don’t have a lot of chikuhodo yet. I highly recommend: Z8 for blush Gsn-9 for packing shimmers Z10 is nice for a soft liner application esp if you have sensitive eyes I don’t really have a “must have” Koyudo brush but if you order from cd Japan the Fupa 14 is a beautiful buffing brush. It’s grey squirrel and very soft and silky. That’s really it. I ordered my Z1 today before the price increase. Hope this helps!
My fusion had arrived last week, i finally washed them and used yesterday for the first time. And omg. I bought all but the jumbo concealer and was thinking that the classic base was the least needed to me but how wrong i was, it is even better and useful to me than the mini base! Adore!
Don’t talk to me about buying back ups. I am living it!! I am learning what shapes I like. And I found out from giving a brush a try uncertain how I was going to use it. So fun!
The mini cheek is probably my most used from the series as it's so versatile like you said! I use it a lot with cream cheek products - applying blusher and bronzer, blending out contour and highlighter, but I've also used it for both concealer and foundation which would make it a great brush to take travelling with me! I do love this whole series though 💕
@@brushjunkie6384 I was using it that way when I just had it in the Keyaki set, so now I tend to use the Classic or Jumbo Base for foundation and the concealer brushes for concealer, but the mini base works in a pinch 😊
Thank you for this update on the set. I agree I absolutely love the mini check I think it’s the perfect multi purpose brush. I also love the jumbo base, you can’t go wrong with those twos and the soft concealer as well
Thank you for this video. Oh yes, please do the video of the Buffer brushes from Sonia G. I’ve got the larger one in my cart. Just need a bit of guidance from you on this brush. 😊
I just adore 🥰 the Fusion series. I have back ups of some. They’re such essentials. I so agree about the jumbo base only using it in a stamping motion for sure. Great video! 💜
Thanks for revisiting the Fusion brushes!! You mentioned that you don’t want to wash the jumbo base too often since it’s a mix of synthetic and natural hairs, so how often do you recommend washing and do you just brush them off on a towel in between washes?
Hi Tracie! So if you follow the rules, youre supposed to wash a brush after every use when using it with creams and liquids. I personally can't keep up with that and I think it wears them out faster so I wipe it on a synthetic towel and wash them every 3 or so uses. If too much time goes by I notice the product seeps closer to the ferrule and makes it much more difficult to wash. I also try not to "dip" my brush into liquids.
@@brushjunkie6384 I’m certainly less vigilant than the wash recommendation. I definitely thought I could go longer without washing since it was a blend but I suppose with creams, it still needs a more frequent wash than 100% synthetic. I typically wipe them off on a microfiber towel, so that helps me stretch the time a bit before washing. I probably only use 1-2 pumps of foundation, then wipe it off. I will definitely check out the one you mentioned in the video! Always appreciate the information you share with us💜
Thanks for this update! Super helpful :) I’ve been watching your older reviews of this brush series ☺️ Btw I love the pictures at the end! I’ve never thought to look up pics of Kumano, Japan & WOW it’s beautiful!
I have the Mini Base and Soft Concealer and absolutely love them! What would you recommend for the most natural and/or lightest application of cream bronzer and contour? Would something like the Classic Base or Mizuho CMP510 be best? I seem to remember that in another video you mentioned slightly fluffier, undyed brushes such as the Face Two might also work well. Maybe even something similar to Face Two, but even less dense would also work? Thanks for another great video! 💕
I think for the lightest application, something like the rephr 4 or the Hakuhodo j4006. I like how the angle fits on my cheek. The face two hairs are too long to pick up creams and the mizuho and classic base will apply a heavier application but still controllable. My choice for the lightest application is my Rephr 4.
I really need to try mini base with a cream blush such a great idea! I’ve mainly used it for my under eye concealer, but I’ll have to try it for that application sometime. I usually use classic base for cream blush, but next time I definitely will try with mini base!
Wow, perfect timing! My fusion brushes arrived yesterday and I got all but the Classic base. So this video reinforced my decision. I’d love a comparison of the buffer brushes vs. Master Face. Do we really need them all. I have the Master Face and was thinking of adding the smooth buffer because I have a small face. I loved the pictures that you included at the end! Beautiful! ❤️
Hi! Is the mini base almost the same size and application with jumbo worker (mini Keyaki set)? I have a small face and wanted to brush for cream contour and would also work for buffing Chantecaille blurring powder. Please let me know the difference between the Mini Base and Jumbo Worker .
I believe they are the same brush. I dont have the mini Keyaki set but I remember that being the case. It would be a great one to have doubles of if you are using it for cream and powder products. It's not my preferance for finishing powder but I can see it working.
I love your videos so informative instead buying all set I can choose the best one thanks to you🤗
