I've been fishing in Bradenton/Palma Sola Bay (where I live) AMI, Manatee River, etc and I've been looking at those Autopilots...never fished from a kayak before. What would you suggest as a good starter boat? I've looked a Vankucks, almost pulled the trigger on a Tarpon, but they were out of stock! FYI: I'm 6'1 250, so w/ gear and a cooler, I'd probable need something that was good for 350? I also would love to take the dog down the road...but he's a puppy now and probably would just want to swim the whole time...can't keep him out of the water! Looking forward to watching your videos.
Auto pilot is definitely a gamechanger but it's a big investment. I would start small to make sure you like yak fishing. I love it! Hope you find one that works! Maybe il cya out there! 1🤙🤙
