    I'm not even that new, and these videos have helped me dial in aspects of my form. The step break down for 45 90 45 90 has been a game changer, and this video just gave me a way to solidify my anhyzer throws - love the content!

    • @Oeugh
      @Oeugh 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      One thing about the x step tho is that the second to last step should not be 45, it should be 90 as well. Literally look at every pro and they all have it at 90 degrees. Putting the foot at a45 degree angle wont allow u to use your hips as much. Doesnt really matter in approach shots but if u wanna go for max distance plant at 90 degree

    You guys are so entertaining to watch. Tomas is a great teacher with infinite patience & your the picture perfect "noob" which makes your vids super relatable for the new player or someone who's thinking about getting into the sport without over complicating everything. The light hearted humor & antics takes the "edge" off the learning curve and hopefully translates to viewers taking that same approach out to fields and courses everywhere. People forget that your never gonna get better if your not having fun first. Thanks for reminding people of that. My only suggestion, keep doing what your doing to promote this awesome sport ! Cheers !

    Ive actually come up with a simpler way to throw both hyzer and anhyzers and I keep my same "wind up" as any throw. I was a pitcher for about 16 years and you get used to throwing different types of pitches,ie curve, slider, change ups, by changing grips but the key is to keep your wind up and release the same as to not give away what you are throwing to the batter. I messed around and applied the same elements to hyzer and anhyzer throws , I simply changed the grip of my disc as to angle it in my hand and i dont have to change the angle of my arm or wrist and my wind up and release stays the exact same as if i was trying to throw a straighter drive . Its worked well so far, I will have to do a video to make things a little more clear on how I position the disc in my hand and how i grip it.

    Great video explaining how to aim an anhyzer throw!
    A very simple way to understand hyzer and anhyzer for any throw with any hand: when you throw hyzer the disc is spinning up toward the sky, and when you throw anhyzer the disc is spinning down toward the ground.
    Discs will always fly in an arc.
    When a disc is thrown flat it will fly and hit the ground opposite the direction of spin.
    When a disc is tilted so that the disc is spinning toward the ground (anhyzer) it will fly and hit the ground in the direction of spin.
    When a disc is tilted so that the disc is spinning toward the sky (hyzer) it will fly and hit the ground opposite the direction of spin.

I have a putter I can rely on for that understable anhyzer but haven't found a good midrange to give me the same result just a bit longer. If you throw the putter harder to get more distance, it straightens out as well.

    Other than a rockin' hyzer flip, the slow turning anhyzer that holds a smooth angle all the way through the flight is just the best to watch.

    I really can not express how good you guys are doing with these new videos. I even bought a bolt to show some support and in a year I will hopefully be able to throw that speed. Really great job!
