    Woodland Hills in one sentence:
Woodland Hills is Ventura Blvd's most complete - with beautiful estates woven into the mountains and excellent access to the SFV's finest shopping.

    SCRIPT:
Ahh, Woodland Hills. A perfect example of location, location, location. Right next to the Santa Susana Mountains. Some neighborhoods are next to the foothills and some are at a country club. Everything's a quick scenic drive away to the beach, shopping, a coffee, or hey, a round of golf. I want to help you find the perfect house for your particular needs. Let's go check it out.
Woodland Hills is expensive, and rightfully so. You have, of course, the division between south and north of the Boulevard. And there are at least 14 discernible neighborhoods, including Walnut Acres, College Acres, and the Los Encinos historic district. You got the whole range of prices here, but if you live in Woodland Hills, you've made it.
You'll find every architectural style you need here. It's not the most expensive city along the Boulevard, but it might be the best due to its dynamic commercial activity. That includes the Warner Center, the Village, Pierce College and proximity to Thousand Oaks.
An LA Times profile indicates that Woodland Hills is a well-educated, albeit less ethically-diverse community. Most of the schools are very highly rated. True, Woodland Hills isn't cheap, but it has more than 20 excellent schools and numerous parks including the Las Virgenes Open Preserve. South of Ventura Boulevard is also Serrania Park, a well-kept secret among the locals. Besides a grassy recreational area and a playground for kids, it has a hiking trail that extends all the way up the mountain. A great place to escape for sure.
After a hike, you have to go eat and Woodland Hills has one of the most places to eat in the entire Valley.
You can go check out The Local Peasant, Ty's Vegan Soulfood, or the White Harte Pub where you can go throw some darts and have a great beer. If that doesn't satisfy you, gosh, there's so many other places to eat. You can't end a segment about Woodland Hills without talking about the now defunct Promenade Mall. What started off as supposed to be a high-fashion center in the seventies, slowly started to go down in business and the Northridge earthquake only hastened its demise.
Word on the street is that plans are in place to turn this into more shopping, a lot of housing, and even a sports stadium. You know what that means? Prices are gonna go up. So, let's get a home in Woodland Hills ASAP.

wait the AMC mall went out of business ?? no way i use to go there everyday after school. I went to woodland hills academy and lived in the summit. so the mall was a perfect hangout spot when we'd all walk home.
