You are not supposed to use any chemicals/soap/etc when working with Intraocular Instruments. Also, you cannot use a paper towel to dry your instruments as it will leave dust/lumens/residue from the paper towel. Also, the major incorrect thing you did was not using any indicator to prove that the sterilization cycle in the auto clave was successful.
